  1. Nice MOC Baylego! The all-black body with the trans-light-green cockpit really gives the ship the Blacktron look. I love how you managed to put a rather interesting interior for such a small ship. The interrogation area with flames is a nice touch. Great job!
  2. That's a pretty good LDD design Dr_Legoman, that's really one huge ship. The white-light bley color scheme with highlights of blue really look "cool". The design of the quad thrusters are quite nicely done. But try to resize your photo next time, it's a bit too large. Still, good job on this design!
  3. Agreed, I mean who needs an X-Wing and the Falcon for the umpteenth time? You might want to throw another Slave I there. New stuff for the OT/PT which haven't been released yet is the way to go, and not just remake previous of sets. This one I agree. If the first 2011 wave is any indication, more OT/PT stuff are to be expected on the rest of the 2011 sets.
  4. That's a fairly good rendition of the TIE Raptor cavegod, you pretty much got the overall look right, it couldn't have been done any better. I love the small greebling details, but those bars on the wings aren't official LEGO parts right? Nevertheless, it was still effectively used to get the desired design of the wings. Great job!
  5. Ooh, very nice! I'm loving the all-black color scheme, the shades of trans-red gives the ship the 'devilish look'. The deatils are just amazing, particularly the greebles, tubes, wirings, and even the dinosaur tail antennae. Certainly job most impressive thire5! Good luck in the contest.
  6. Nice review jd5775! Thanks for sharing this, I would not have known the existence of this set if not for this review. I actually like this set a lot (mostly because I love classic town sets), as I find the trailer generator and the pothole machine very good builds despite their simplicity. And I've always loved that roof with opening glass piece.
  7. I think you did a pretty good job with the nose, that's how the official JSFs should have been. I'm also in the process of updating my JSF collection using almost this same technique for the pointed tip (but more pointier than yours ). But I think we all agree that aside from the nose there are a lot of other inaccuracies with TLG's JSF model, which I pointed out months ago here. EDIT: This seems to be the Season of Plo Koon JSF-based MOCs, as in the past week we've had ThatGuyWithTheBricks' UCS version, then Oky's Azure Angel, and now this!
  8. I'd be the nth person to agree. I think there's a big chance we'd be getting either Gree or Bly in upcoming sets. Yeah TLG missed the chance to include Bly along with Aayla in the CTT, so Gree would probably have greater chances this time, as he can be coupled with the long-overdue updated version (CW ) of Luminara in a big set.
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks Matt! Enjoy the site and hope to see some of your creations here.
  10. Welcome to Eurobricks Tequila Teala! Yeah I've heard of your University/College MOC plans in the Town forum, welll good luck on that and hope to see that creation in the near future. Enjoy the site and see you around.
  11. Looks much better now Tricky-bricky, it's nice to see the greebles now, thought it still looks kinda fat in the front. Can you somehow flatten the front top part a bit, just like in the ref. pic?
  12. Great custom Omicron! You pretty much got the overall look of Shao Kahn based on the reference pic. I simply love those custom hand plates and belt. Do I see a frowning minifig head print in the helmet?
  13. Nice custom DHL guy alanboar! The custom DHL decals on the tosro and boxes are pretty neat. The only problem with having a yellow-colored uniform is that it blends with the yellow skin tone of the minifig, making him look like he's wearing a sleeveless shirt.
  14. Great Spartan army Plissken, the way you presented them is even much better! I simply love the first shot, great effect resembling the dark somber atmosphere of 300. I agree the positioning of the Spartans with the spears held out is also fantastic.
  15. Lot of lovely orange! Nice job on this pumpkin carriage, no name. I'm lovin' the small but neat details, particularly the orange legs at the top and the orange flower at the front.
  16. Funny little MOC Ezechielle! The way you positioned the body-less scared head is perfect, looks like he was really 'hiding' inside.
  17. I think it's safe to say that interest in the current CW season will not diminish anytime soon. Even if Filoni and his team keep giving us subpar episodes in the last couple of seasons, fans are still enthusiastic and still anticipate 'what's gonna happen next?', even if most of the time they become disappointed in the end. Personally, I would like this CW series to keep running for 100 epis, then that's about the time they finally connect the storyline to RoTS, and end the series with a bang. Besides, another 2-3 years of Clone Wars just mean more SW sets for us, which is all we want after all (along with the PT/OT stuff of course).
  18. Pretty good 'Lettering' using bricks Gen. Zen. I love that motto, trying to live by it also.
  19. Pretty decent SW army collection ThatGutWithTheBricks. I'll give TGWTB the benefit of the doubt. I think he just meant the villains/bad guys. Obviously it was a mistake. But I agree, the ARC pilots should be with the rest of the clones, and the astromech should be with the Threepio/Artoo mini-platoon.
  20. Have a wonderful birthday Bonaparte! Cheers for many more years!
  21. Wow what a lovely creation sonicstarlight! I love the simplistic approach on the overall design of the building, and it still looks very beautiful. The white-grey color scheme really looks clean, and what's more impressive are the interiors and the greenhouse at the back. The small details are amazing, like the 'crawling leaves' (for lack of a better term) on the back wall, the flower bunches in the front, and the gardening tools inside. Very impressive job!
  22. Ooh, another informative tidbit from the Doc. I never knew that one, and here I am a chemist who forgot the fact that those trans-clear lego parts were polycarbonates and not ABS, silly me.
  23. That's what I though so, since it's quite noticeable Plo's JSF remained intact. But of course I still like it, I like JSFs!
  24. Nice subtle but effective mods Oky, you pretty much got the overall basic shape of the Azure Angel. The wrong blue color of Plo Koon's JSF suits very well for the blue Azure. The additional elements (wing fins and blasters, front air intakes) really improves the model a lot. Sorry if I'm being overcritical, but I think there a lot more improvements that you could have done, like shortening the front hull (replacing the 3x12 wedges with smaller wedges), converting the rear flaps from flag-type to fin-type, and making the front tapered into a point. But I would assume the main goal of this mod is to put additional elements into PLo Koon's JSF to convert it into the Azure without modding the 'base JSF'. Still overall, it's a pretty solid build, great step-by-step instructions, and crisp-clear photos as usual. Plo Koon's Blade of Dorin is actually a gift from Anakin himself, so that blue design is originally Skywalker's and he's not 'stealing' but actually giving Plo's thundah! According to Wookeepedia: "The Blade of Dorin was gifted to Jedi Master Plo Koon by Anakin Skywalker, Koon having lost his Venator-class Star Destroyer during a battle against the Malevolence.[1] The starfighter was customized similarly to Anakin's Azure Angel, with blue markings to camouflage it against a blue sky."
  25. Welcome aboard Marcin! Hope to see your MOCs here in EB. Enjoy the site and see you around.
