  1. Thanks for sharing the instructions Pellaeon! I might have to try to build your MF-scale one and take a group shot with my own Tumbler (The Big Brother).
  2. Thanks Smack! Next creation is scheduled to arrive. Salamat Master Shi-fu!
  3. Happy birthdays to our newly-minted History Moderator, I Scream Clone, and Shadow Administrator, sam89! And to the other celebrants as well. Have a wonderful lego-filled day guys! Sorry for the pinkish cake, it looks good to me.
  4. Very nice use of the fleshie hands! Good design of the crab. The snatcher would be a fool not to catch the crab with that oversized net!
  5. Easily the best in the series. Hot bombshells in swimsuits... Mmmm...
  6. Well of course your view of both official versions have already changed since you've already 'perfected' the V-Wing. It's just for someone like me who missed the last V-Wing, from the initial looks of it, the new one does look an improved version of the first one. Not perfect but certainly improved. ---------------------- And regarding the 2010-2011 first wave debate, I think I might've opened a can of worms with that one statement that I posted. Having an OT/PT-less 2011 first wave, the anti-2011 sets sentiments are kinda expected from OT/PT fans. But did CW fans complain when OT/PT sets had the limelight last year? Anyway, this is a pointless debate we wouldn't want to get into. To each his own I guess.
  7. Pretty good MOC 501st Commando! For a small diorama it really has the Naboo 'feel' on it. I love the damage-effect on the walls, columns, and floors. And very clever build on the arched stacked 1x1 round bricks, though I guess it's a bit fragile right?
  8. Nice collection of Imperial forces legoman! I wish I could have even just a tenth of your army..
  9. Despite the minor design flaws I must say I'm very much impressed with your creation angel06. First, conceptualizing, designing, and building such massive MOC is no small feat, I could just imagine the time, effort, and resources you've put in to created this one, and for that, a job very well done! Secondly, it is always a pleasure to see SW vehicles not yet seen in lego form, and I'm glad someone finally made this one and it's really a sight to behold how huge the SPHA-T brickbuild is. Pls do continue building massive MOCs which most of us can only dream of building.
  10. At first I thought the design was rather basic and simple (it kinda reminds me of GG's starfighter)... Until the awesomeness happened - the front opens into a crossbow-shape! Impressive work as usual Rook! You really never fail to amaze us with your unique creations. Keep 'em coming!
  11. Me & my favorite pastime...
  12. Lol'd @ the rejected protoypes! The Vader beauty salon is simply hilarious!
  13. Nice simple mod Skafte, effectively makes the shuttle smoother. I think the 2x4 tiles are much better than the 1x2s. Can't wait to see how you motorize the wings.
  14. Very interesting and informative topic! Thanks for doing this impressive job analyzing the historical price data of our beloved LSW sets, Walter Kovacz. As I'm only interested in system-scale sets, the results doesn't surprise me at all. It was kinda expected that the LSW sets had always been over the magical $0.10/part P2P (average-wise), and the trend is gonna be expected to rise every year. Just a quick question, based on your data analysis, considering there is a consistent trend in the rising P2P cost of the SW sets, how does the future look for LSW set prices? Can you somehow make a prediction (graphical interpolation?) based on the historical data on what will be the expected prices of SW sets in say, five to ten years?
  15. Thanks for sharing the reliable info nausi, but a 'malnourished' Sumo wrestler won' t just look right... I'm personally excited for the gorilla, rapper dude, and Maria Sharapova (finally a proper lego racket for a tennis MOC!).
  16. Yay! Pretty funny find fred67! A glimpse of future lego prices perhaps?.... in Year 2222?
  17. Nice turntables! It's such a shame the CD racks are empty. I would love to see someone make something like this in real brickform, do you have any plans BrickWild?
  18. Meh, police-based sets again. Some new elements are interesting (new car window, new dog mold) but it's he same old police that we get always get every 2-3 years. Hope to see more civilian sets in 2011, that's what made 2010 city rather successful.
  19. Me too, I like small starfighters, that's why I collect JSFs! The V-Wing does look very much improved from the previous one. I wasn't able to get the first one, so this will be the perfect chance to finally have one (it's one of the most affordable sets among the batch also). Plus, who wouldn't want that sweet-looking metallic grey astromech and the black pilot? Is it just me, but I think the 2011 first wave sets are much much better than the 2010 first wave.
  20. Hehe, simply hilarious! Very nicely done Torham! Poor stormie. I love Vader force-choking the AT-AT dude, very effective use of the trans-clear plates. Gen. Veers might not finish his 'activity'.
  21. Haha! I love these! For some strange reason, I've always loved to watch this Invader Zim cartoon years ago. Maybe it's because of the silly characters? Anyway, you really did a good job approximating the overall look of these characters in CubeDude form. Their design is rather basic, but that's how they looked like in the cartoon, so it's just ok. Another cool creation Oky!
  22. Thanks for sharing Oky. The green jedi master looks cool (and hot at the same time) . Upon a quick search at Wookieepedia, you just gave me another idea for a project. Thanks a lot!
  23. (Sorry, wrong topic I posted. My apologies)
  24. Wow, this has got to be one of the simplest but most effective little vignette I've seen so far! From the PoP arches, Pharoah staff for the cobra, telescope for the flute, and slope pieces for the sitting cross-legs position - these are all cleverly tought-of and superbly-executed. Very good job squiz!
  25. I love the colorful dancefloor, as well as the DJ booth - both really represent well the cool Disco dude. Nicely done!
