Those are quite impressive LDD MOCs Kussler! Great concepts for moonbase modules and all are very detailed. I like the buro-tower the best. Very well done!

Welcome to Eurobricks Special LEGO Themes forum
XimenaPaulina replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I must commend you with your great effort in giving this forum its much needed restructuring WhiteFang! It's much more organized now and the new name (Special Themes) is more appropriate and sounds a lot better better than the previous one (Other Themes). Thank you for doing this wonderful job! -
Another very nice vignette HeLena! That sumo guy is one tough customer alright, still not satisfied even with all those food. Keep your entertaining vigs coming milady!
-
Another impressive LDD creation Giovanne! This really looks like a worthy adversary to your Starvoyager ship. Great work once again! Though just a friendly reminder, pls. kindly resize you pics to 800x600 pixels since that is EB's maximum limit. Thanks.

Congratulations on your new camera tag! You really deserve it with your quality photos in the SW Funnies and Photography threads. ;)

Pretty good vig even if the pics are a bit blurry. I'm curious though, is that a <insert that tiresome argument> single arch piece? From what set is that part? I think I've never seen that before.

[MOC] Hänschen klein "Little Hans"
XimenaPaulina replied to Ingrimm's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A very touching and well-built vignette Ingrimm! The build clearly conveys the message of the song. Very good work! -
Very nice entry Alibabo! I really like its conservative beauty, just the perfect combination of colors and right amount of details (notable ones are the antenna, turntable pieces at the attic, and the lamp post). Great job and good luck!

MOC: Fantasy Island: Island Vehicle
XimenaPaulina replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was wondering why I didn't see the car in your first FI MOC, I guess you made it now to sort of 'complete' the whole thing. Again, very well done on this car - accurate color scheme and it really has the classic feel into it. -
X-Mas Star Wars Photography Contest - Winners!
XimenaPaulina replied to smokebelch's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Congratulations to the winners, very well deserved! Great job on the other entrants as well. Kudos too to the organizers and judges of this wonderful photography contest, well done everybody! -
Amazing, wow! Extremely accurate design, from the overall shape to the small details and even the opening doors. Impressive work as always HJR!
-
Very nice speeder Thunder-blade! Interesting curved shape and quite effective use of those slope pieces, though the blue color isn't Imperial-ish. Good work still!

Excellent LDD rendition of the modernized version of the classic L45 Starfleet Voyager Giovanne! The size and the greebling details are really very impressive! BTW, if you'd like your creation to be part of the EB LDD MOC Index, just share the LXF and we'll gladly include your creation in the index.

Naa'Leth would've been a great fig, with her cool red pointy-hood outfit and an energy bow. But even if I doubt it, it would be still great to see a new Asajj fig on her nightsister outfit in the Dathomiri speeder set, just like what she wore in that particular episode. But based on the current trend of exclusive figs being released to smaller sets (Rex, Cody), we might be just getting the 'normal' Asajj. The Savage fig will clearly be the 'selling point' of this set.

The Storehouse of Cochenheim
XimenaPaulina replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Very good-looking creation Captain Blackmoor! The dark orange roof really fits well the overall color scheme and the details are just wonderful to look at, both in the exterior design and inside. I particularly like the varying brown shades of the wooden side walls and the interior floors. Outstanding work! -
Excellent entry Iz! I simply love the overall snowy surroundings, which is articulated by the patches of snow in the roof and trees, as well as the visible footsteps on the ground. The church is very well built, the glass mosaic window and crucifix are particularly nice details. It's also good to see the turning dual-sided obelisk in the entrance and the variation of the marble tombstone designs. Great job and best of luck in the contest!

No you're not strange since I do that 'designing and building in my mind' also. Or that does that mean we both are strange? Anyway, the progress of the build is looking great, nice to see the SNOT finish.
-
Excellent collection of Sci-Fi vigs ISC! The first one is simply hilarious, and that's the nastiest most clever way I've seen that trans-yellow windscreen pieced was used. And the details inside the spaceship are simply wonderful!

I had at look at your LXF and found out that the original model employs illegal connections that simply cannot be achieved in LDD. And what do we do in those type of cases? - we improvise. And that's what I did, I had to modify a bit the arch assembly and the connecting point to the window to attach the whole arch assembly. So here's the 'fixed' LXF. Hope that helps!

Need help placing pieces
XimenaPaulina replied to Solscud007's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
That happens a lot in LDD wherein you can't rotate a whole assembly together. The trick is you rotate the 'base part' first to the proper angle/position. Then you could add the rest of the parts in the assembly. Alternatively you could upload it in a file-hosting site like brickshelf and you could add the link to a text. And I highly recommend you share the LXF, not only will other LDD builders will be able to help you fix your building issues, but I could also index it when you're finished with it. -
Ha, this one got me bad. I "siriusly" thought you were Sirius Black that I know, but alas you're his long-lost brother from another dimension. Well, welcome to the forums SiriusBlack the 2nd! I hope you enjoy your stay here even living under the shadows of the 'original' Sirius Black of EB.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Is it really that hard to believe that brute force alone can take out those ineffective jedi? (Bolla Ropal, Ord Eniscence anyone?) How the episode portrayed Savage during that battle scene is quite believable for me, even without him showing any Force abilities. If he had defeated more competent jedi like Anakin, Obi-Wan, or Mace that would've been unbelievable, but I think they used/sacrificed the right 'rubbish' jedi to portray the scene well. -
Ah ok I see. I understand how difficult it is to pull-off and/or replace illegal connections in LDD and I think you really did a good job on that.
