  1. Yup I believe it's the same for all SW merchandise, like what I've seen with the Hasbro products and other miscellaneous stuff.
  2. Very nice vig Plissken! The build effectively depicts a scene like one taken out of the Planet of the Apes movie. Well done!
  3. Thanks for the nice info commanderneyo, I certainly didn't expect this one. IMO, the CW-sification of Qui-Gon is pretty decent. It's also good to know that Liam Neeson will voice him, it gives a certain connection of the CW to the saga. But why the heck is Obi-Wan holding his lightsaber against his ghost master? (sorry, haven't viewed the video yet).
  4. Oh wow, I'm lovin' your latest creation TPRU! The whole build really resembles a scene out of the 20's and both the tavern and that lovely classic car is really very accurate to the design of those times. Excellent work!
  5. Very nice spaceship Flare! Strangely enough, I like the candy colors and it looks like a perfect fit for your Squidman sigfig. Impressive crisp-clear photos too, great job!
  6. But we have seen the prelims still sporting the Blue Rex design right? I know they are prelims and can be changed anytime but I just feel we won't be getting any new ones. Yeah I agree with you, the current one looks really great, so I doubt they will change that anytime soon.
  7. I was just wondering, why isn't there a new box skin design for the 2011 sets? Has anyone heard any news about it? It's just in the past three years we have seen three different SW (CW) box design each year so I was kinda expecting to see one this year.
  8. Both your Batmobile and Tumbler are from Artifex Creations right? I made my own Tumbler based on Artifex's Tumbler last year through reverse-engineering with some minor modifications.
  9. 1. Resize your photos to 800x600 pixels maximum size or lower. 2. Upload your photos in image-hosting sites such as flickr or brickshelf which you may need to set-up an account. 3. Once uploaded, Copy the Image Location of the photo and insert the URL in the Insert image tab then you'll have your photos deeplinked.
  10. If only other OT fans are as 'friendly' in criticizing as you are Doc, then I guess CW fans won't have any problems with OT fans. It's just we've heard countless times here in EB certain people who keep taking cheap shots / snide remarks towards CW every time they have the chance, it's like they have this weird and inexplicable personal vendetta against the CW series. Criticizing is one thing. Constantly criticizing is another thing. It really gets tiring and irritating over time. As you'll observe I have no problem with OT whatsoever, it's the borderline arrogant fans that always dismisses the CW as some sort of trash that is getting on my nerves. Just to leave on a positive note, we are all SW fans here, and we are like one big family with you OT fans being the CW fans' big brothers. So why bully your little brother's CW interest just because you don't like them right?
  11. Ok so this is my stand on this issue (which some of you might've heard already in the SW forum): I am a Star Wars fan, and in my dictionary, a true Star Wars fan accepts and loves everything about the franchise. Yeah there maybe some things that I don't necessarily like, but overall I've come to accept those and everything about SW, from OT, to PT, to CW, and even the EU stuff. Now, what I don't really like is how other elitist SW fans keep on attacking the new CW series (and their kid fan base). Of course they have their valid points and their own personal beliefs on what should/should not be done in the SW universe. But guess what? Believe what you want to believe, but Lucas and his franchise will keep on going even without these so-called elitist 'only the OT is the real and valid SW' fans. I've posted this question before but nobody had the guts to answer: Let's say 10 years from now and there will be a new SW movie/series (live-action, another CGI animation, etc.), will you still be stuck in the past with your beloved OT and still refuse to accept the new things that the SW franchise has to offer? Remember the cliche, the only permanent thing in this world is change, so if you choose to live in the past glory days of OT and want to be left behind then do so, while fans like us who willingly accept change will continue to enjoy the current success and future possibilities for the franchise. "Good men leave, only dead wood remain."
  12. A lovely vignette a53021! I knew it was just a matter of time before we see an Oscars-like awarding ceremony with the introduction of the microfig trophy, and this one perfectly captures what we'd expect in a real awarding scene. The whole build looks really glamorous fit for a showbiz event. Great job!
  13. Very well done customs Admiral Croissant! What I particularly like about your customs are the accurate coats and the unique hair-headgear combination that we don't see in standard lego figs (or until we get the upcoming Jack Sparrow fig). Though the sharpie work needs improvement (which I totally understand since I'm guilty of that too). Still, this is quite an impressive job especially with your first attempt, so keep it up!
  14. Wow, what a magnificent creation Laureano! I simply love the overall massiveness of this build, highlighted by the highly-detailed interiors. Each compartment inside were really very enjoyable to look at one-by-one, and the functionalities incorporated are all well-conceived. Extremely impressive work!
  15. Very nice hoverbike -zenn! This one reminds me a lot of your previous one, though now in black color. Good job!
  16. Very nice vignette TWTaylor! I love the black and white imagery, it really depicts this classic Wild West scene really well. Good job!
  17. Great job organizing this Doc and Burman! I would love to participate again, even if I'm not much skilled in Castle/Historical builds. But in order to give other new LDD builders a chance to join, just list me down as one of the reserves.
  18. I really like this speeder a lot Plissken, I think the yellow color scheme look rather good for a Coruscant vehicle, with nice highlights of tan and dark bley. The overall shape is very sleek too. Great job!
  19. Oh wow, that's one massive and amazing Endor diorama, I'm loving the progress so far! Mightily impressive work KimT and Morten! Really can't wait for the final product. Just curious thought, how are you gonna transport that diorama so huge? Or are you building it already in the place of the event?
  20. Ooh, very nice, another batch of wonderful X-Men customs tin7! They all look great, I'm having a hard time picking my favorite among this group - probably Jubilee (nice shades), Omega Red (intimidating look), and Mystique (fine accurate body prints). Excellent work as always!
  21. I'm lovin' that spiral staircase! Your knack for building clean and good-looking buildings/structures is very evident on this entry Cornelius. Looking great so far, can't wait for the final product!
  22. I would've been totally surprised if you weren't. It's really nice to finally see the face behind Rorschach's mask the Walter Kovacs of EB. Lovely family you have there.
  23. I agree with Sam, this is a nice combination of a minifig and CubeDude build. The shape, colors, and overall massiveness of that head is pretty spot-on. Nice work sok!
  24. Another excellent creation M_longer! As always, I love the functionality of your vehicle MOCs, like the tree-grabbing machanism of this one. The overall design is very clean-looking too. Great work as usual!
  25. Very well done Fires-storm, glad to see you back MOCing. I like the SNOT build of this one, and the colors are just perfect for a Spanish airplane. Nice work!
