Another well done build Solstafir! I love how you captured this busy bar scene with all the details you'd expect to see in a real one. Great job once again!
-
I love the modern conservative design and overall SNOT finish of this coffee shop. Judging from your Bar & Grill MOC I'm pretty sure the interiors of this will be as great as that one. Very good work!

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Four
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You know what, I think you're lying Mz. Danielle. The deciding vote izn't actually ze switch vote by Kylan, but Bridget's last minute vote. Not zo good in making up storiez huh? -

Hmmm, interezting input Siegmund. Even if their votez seem 'diluted' within the majority vote, we cannot ignore ze fact that ze mafia goons know who are the innocent people, and their votes can be seen as bandwagoning with the rest of the 'clueless' innocents. I think we have a strong case against both Geert and Danielle, let'z see what they have to say regarding theze accusations. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Four

I'm with you there Kyle. Even if we pulled off thiz momentary victory, I can't help but get concerned about the lack of unity among uz. I still can't believe that it took a lazt minute vote from Bridget and a switch vote from you before we could finally convict someone. Now that casts the suspicion over those who did not participate in the voting. I mean if you really are concerned for the innocent's cause, why wouldn't you vote?!? From thoze who did not vote, I highly suzpect theze two: Geert, who lazt said: That is NOT something an innocent would say. Lack of concern and urgency = scummy behavior. Another one that really surprized me iz Danielle, since she did not cooperate with ze majority vote, opting to go with her personal choice, even if she clearly knew that the innocents need her vote for conviction. Not voting for a co-staff? Or not voting for a fellow scum (Dreo)? -
I honestly think all of these are excellently done banners and I'd gladly abstain from voting. Just want to give props to everyone who put their time, effort, and digital graphics artistic talent to create these wonderful banners - Rufus, LuxorV, def, Brickthing, and Clone'O Patra.

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Four
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Whoops, plz. forgive my hastiness brought about my excitement, but I guess we have to really think over our next vote carefully. Even if Siegmund waz acting highly suspicious yesterday, I think it'z better if we give him the benefit of the doubt and the chance to explain himzelf. I remember him swearing by his mother's grave so I guess that warrants a second chance. -

FINALLY! It'z about time we got a scum! Au revoir Dreo! I'm zo happy right now... Especially since ze scums failed to kill one of uz, bwahaha... Whoever iz protecting us, he/she iz definitely doing one impressive job! And even though this iz still not a cause for a complete celebration, I'm pretty sure who'll be the obvious next one to go, one who literally dug up his grave yesterday... -
Happy Birthday! Have a great one.

Pretty good comeback build after a long hiatus from LEGO LordKain! The vig depicts the scene rather well, though I agree it's really weird seeing the worried look on the hazmat guys face, I'd rather see a much resolved attitude for the person in charge of cleaning toxic nuclear waste. Welcome to the forums BTW!

I love the overall smooth studless design of this mini-ship. Well done Danpb!

Congratulations to the winners! Very well deserved victories for all your fantastic entries. Kudos also to everyone who joined, voted and to Fangy and the rest of staff for staging this regular EB contest. Looking forward for Series 4! Great to see you back DarkFang!

No problem vynsane. For some reason I never received your reply from flickr. Anyway, it's really nice of you to share the LXF of this Phoenix Fireball Speeder. Honestly, I fell in love with this speeder the moment I saw this during last year's LDD contest. I really would like to build this in real bricks so I can have a copy of this fantastic creation. I'm gonna add this to the index shortly when I get home. Thanks once again!

Judge Dredd custom minifig
XimenaPaulina replied to DrVenkman's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great job on this custom Judge Dredd fig DrVenkman! You really captured the necessary elements for his overall look, I particularly like the gold parts that you did. Very well done! -
Ahh.. Not only is this MOC very well done, it's also relaxing to look at as if you're really on a serene and peaceful Chinese Garden. Another exemplary work lisqr!

Well it's not just an ordinary Sci-Fi room, it's screaming Star Wars Fan room, and for that alone it's excellent! Seriously this is one great-looking room with some very clever parts usage, I particularly like the 'antenna' table lamp, the 'hand' plant, computer mouse, and the micro-Falcon. Excellent work Diidy!
-
Tasty indeed! Very well done on this brickbuilt sushi table Carioso! It's not the first time I've seen one, but it still amazes me to see some clever parts usage like the tires, orange flippers, and those trans-orange space rocks.
-
Very ingenious use of the Atlantis helmets for the cockpits Baylego! The various micro-scale elements are very well done too particularly the effective combination of the trans-pieces with the grey parts. Great job!
-
Oh wow, this is simply an excellent creation Mood! The concept does remind me of the Star Wars Transformers cross-over theme. The overall design and greebling details are just phenomenal, this is certainly one of the best-looking mechs I've seen. Impressive work as always, and can't wait what you have in store for us next.

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
XimenaPaulina replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A promising project indeed, the layout is already looking great with the positioning of the water and terrains. Knowing your expertise, this is something that's going to be epic that we'll all look forward to. -
Excellently done Etzel! It really is a thing of beauty even if it's a small-scaled build. The combination of the white and pearl gold looks majestic, and the regal dark red roof is very nicely built using those cheese slopes. Impressive work!

What was the last movie you watched?
XimenaPaulina replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles - pretty good movie and a very enjoyable watch, but not the best I've seen. It's like watching War of the Worlds all over again. I liked that movie too, one of the very uniquely done movies I've seen. -
I knew from the very first glance at the grainy effects of the images that this is your work Alopex, and I gotta say you did a very nice job with this car that fits well with your signature post-apoc builds.

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Three
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I feel your concern Cruz, I'm actually getting worried now that we ztill haven't reached a conviction with time winding down, that will be extremely cataztrophic in our cause. But I'm not losing hope that our fellow innocentz will rally to cast their votes accordingly.
