This is an awesome build DNL! Very interesting concept and effective futuristic design for this unusual brain-controlled machine. Great job, I like it a lot!

This is photography at its finest. Absolutely fantastic shot Yatkuu, the effective lighting really accentuates the already-great build of this MOC. Certainly a most impressive job!

I have to agree with the others, this looks even much better in real brickbuild! I simply love the consistent symmetry of the Octan colors throughout the truck and the unique details packed in this mini-tanker. Great job on taking this to the next step!

REVIEW: Ninjago 30083: Dragon Fight
XimenaPaulina replied to pombe's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Pretty neat NinjaGo polybagged set, thanks for sharing this mini-review pombe! This is a nice alternative way to get the red ninja minifig if you don't want to go through the normal spinner sets and boxed set. -
It's nice to finally see a photo of the upcoming Naboo Starfighter set, thanks for sharing this Diggydoes! I agree the droideka is a significant upgrade of the previous versions, and that this is the perfect way for those who've missed the previous sets to get their hands on some N-1s. I just wish TLG could've given us the correct chrome color for the grey parts, I know it would be more expensive but I wouldn't mind paying a few more dollars just to get an accurate and cool-looking chomed N-1.

At first glance I thought the 'nose' of this one looked a bit short that what it should have, but after a quick comparison with some reference images, I must say the overall dimensions look pretty accurate, and I really like the use of those curved slope for the wing tips. But this still have tons of improvement, particularly in getting the overall smooth build of the nose and the spherical shape of the cockpit. You've done a good job so far, and hope to see some significant upgrades in the next version.

[MOC] Imperial Speeder Bike - Bionicle Style!
XimenaPaulina replied to George G.'s topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very well done George G! It's always nice to see crossover of themes, and it's really refreshing to look at this Bionicle Speeder Bike with Scout Trooper. And I won't offer any criticisms, since this is Bionicle after all which I'm not familiar with. Great job and thanks for sharing this with us. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No worriez I understand Siegmund, it's juzt that you questioned my claim for innocence that's why I reacted that way. Anyway, it seems that we've already reached a conviction, I juzt hope we made the right decision. And az we go towards the dangerz of ze night, I sincerely hope we all survive just like lazt night. Good luck to uz all. -
Did you just say you don't normally do city/town-themed builds? Well it looks like you've been doing these for years now as this is simply a wonderful creation gabe! Based on the reference image, I must say you really captured the real thing very accurately, from the overall tan color scheme to the the animal wall details.

MOC: 1/2 scale Green Grocer and Fire Brigade
XimenaPaulina replied to puddleglum's topic in LEGO Town
Oh wow, this is just a lovely collection of miniaturized modular buildings. You really did outstanding job downsizing these models and still retaining the overall look and details. Certainly most impressive job puddlegum! -
[MOC] Collectable minifigs modular display shelf - series 3
XimenaPaulina replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
These are all very well done and you never fail to impress us as always Cecilie! I really like the samurai warrior one the best, it reminds me of your lovely contest entry. -
I'm lovin' the SNOT build of the body and the rear part, and as always, the engine work is very well-detailed. The door handles and the smooth rims are very nice details too. Another quality-made Hot-rod -zenn!

D2C Contest: Curse of the Mummy
XimenaPaulina replied to Tazmaniac's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very impressive entry TazManiac! Gotta love the elements packed in this build, from the modular building, to the two vehicles, and even the base and the surrounding rock formations are all well-executed. I'd agree that the said features are something that TLG don't normally do in regular sets, but I hope these types of entries would serve as 'inspiration' to them. Excellent job and best of luck in the contest! -
Nice, another well done castle-punk battle-bike Pep! Love those descriptions too.

Ooh, very impressive tower, and Evil-looking indeed it is. Simply excellent use of those Bionicle claws, the whole tower really exudes a dark villainous aura. Another impressive work lisqr!

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Honestly, I really feel bad right now that I am being doubted after I am calling all the innocent people to unite. I mean, I've done everything to prove my innocence, what would you like me to do further to prove I'm innocent? I suggested you approach me and talk to me privately, but only a few people did so, and I appreciate them for doing that. For those who keep on accusing me without having the balls to even talk to me privately, then that is rather suspicious the way I see it. Even if I'm feeling terrible right now, I'd still like for us to advance with the voting process. Time is literally ticking down, and if we don't make up a collective decision, then the scums just nears victory. I do also have the feeling that Racquel might be another Mr. Bombay, so for now, and seeing we're far away from having a majority vote, I'd Unvote Raquel Benito Juarez (Raven Brickroft), just to prove to you that I'm not targeting the person but the scummy behavior, and even if she puts the blame on me without any evidence (wolf disguised as a sheep, jeez... ). So if Racquel will not be the lynched out, then who will we vote out? Where shall we go from here? Shall we sit again and wait for nothing to happen? I won't, so I'd suggest another possibility: I've noticed an unusual behavior over a group of suspicious people around here, there were at least three people who didn't vote yesterday, and who keeps 'stalling' the vote yesterday and today, waiting for something to happen, until ultimately didn't vote at all, like they are not even concerned. I'll try to refresh your memory guys: Go figure who didn't/wasn't able to vote. And try to read again remember their statements yesterday and today. ___________________________________ I just noticed now, I tried to rememeber (re-read) all our statements, but I guess we already have reached a conviction, so our unvotes will not be counted. We'll just have to live with our decision then, and hope that we made the right one lynching out Ms. Racquel. (All these suspense and emotional rollercoaster has inexplicably made my French accent suddenly disappear, for those who are wondering.) -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Because that is something I cannot say publicly (not post to fit in the game thread). If you really would like to know if I'm innocent, then why are you hesitating to talk to me privately? -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
To all those who are doubting my innocence, I highly suggest you speak to me privately. I can prove my innocence in one statement. With regards to Racquel, just like everybody else, I'm also not sure if she's scum or not, My vote was basically due to her "making up stories just to get the ball rolling". And if she insists that she's innocent, then I could believe her and unvote her. I'm not targeting the person, but the suspicious behavior. I am ready to unvorte for her if she really is innocent. Now my question to you guys, who shall we then vote out if Racquel isn't a viable option? -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
XimenaPaulina replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ok, it zeems like the suspicion has been cast over me too. I don't blame you guys, I know I have been speaking a lot thiz past couple of days, but I'm just doing so since I'm really a concerned innocent who would like to weed out ze killers. I'm not ze type of person just to sit around and wait for something to happen. Just carefully think about it, why would I do all of theze, if thiz will just make me ze ultimate target of ze mafia? You know what, I can prove to you I'm innocent. Just speak to me privately and I know in one statement I can prove to you my innocence. -
Very nice LDD design Vincent, the fact that you were able to create a decently-sized minifig-scale car that can accommodate three passengers and has opening hood and doors is really an impressive feat! Now all we need to see is the real brickbuild version of this one. Great job!
