Another dual DVD/Game release...neat Only this time I don't have to get the DVDs because I'm one of the few people who could give two craps about the unaltered versions...which I already have 3 different copies of on VHS anyhow :-P Long live the Special Editions! X-D

As far as I'm aware they're still two seperate genus'. M. dixeyi has been pared down into the Lithostrotia Node so far, and J. robusta is still lingering up there in the Titanosauria Stem, so there's still a chance they're the same beast, but it's still kind of up in the air (as always)

Nothing shockingly innovative here really, just a Toa I cooked up today while watching Hockey... From the age before Makuta rose to evil and when Toa were many, Tahrizan was part of a special Heavy Assault Toa Squad, dispatched as a last resort when other Toa forces were outmatched or overwhelmed. He looks pretty standard, but behind that chest plate the torso is cobbled together from smaller technic pieces and not a single piece as is the case with most Toa figures. He's built a little thicker then the average Toa and, as you can see, is decked out in a little more "gear" His primary weapon is his melee staff and in a pinch he's pretty handy with those claws. His most powerful weapon is the over-the-shoulder plasma blaster. It flips into place from the back and can rest over either shoulder. Tahrizan is built for combat, and stands ready to defend the innocent from the forces of darkness. He was last seen shortly after the rise of Makuta, facing off against a trio of rogue Exo-Toa in an arctic region. Rumors say he and his adversaries were buried in an avalanche during the battle, no evidence has ever been recovered from the site.

If I only had the same guts you do to bust into other sets to make Bionicle MOCs :-D I think this is probably my favorite of all your stuff thus-far...and I asolutley love the dual bipedal and quadrapedal modes

I finally got a chance to sit down with the bounty from the 5 Bionicle parts buckets I bought and managed to cook something up. You ever sit down with LEGOs intending to build one thing and end up doing something totally different? I was trying to create some sort of vehicle-based Rahi or something, but ended up making essentially a big Toa...so anyhow... Meet Kahmalhi....Kahmalhi is part of a Dark Hunter splinter group which is pretty much less then a dozen individuals with extraordinary fighting prowess and skill, but with just one-too many scruples for the Dark Hunter lifestyle, instead they hire themselves out much the same way, but only take contracts that are bent toward a good end, or at least not an obviously evil one. ;-) I spent most of the evening building her...and by "building" I mean sitting on the floor scowling at a big pile of Bionicle parts. One step I made sure to take was to keep the bucket of silver "weapons" well out of the mix until I had her body pretty much set...that way I hopefully avoided over-acessorising her. Overall I'm pleased with how her frame turned out. Managed to work a lot of articulation into her and acceptable balance. The only part I'm not completley pleased with is her head. The rest of her was done and the head was last. I really didn't want to just stick a mask on her, so I tried building up around the standard Toa Metru head piece. I rejected a bunch of designs (mostly ones with "hair") and settled on a sort of SCUBA/rebreather look. I think it kind of works for a blue character. Her left arm is equipped with with flip-down dual-blasters and when not in use, store up against the arm. Her right arm features a pair of claws that rotate around to present the longer blades during combat. Under normal circumstances, they flip back around to the shorter configuration. And here she is with Gali for scale. In the end, I'd say, not bad for a night's work or Hockey watching and LEGO building

Well now, it's possible he could be legit... Howabout some item numbers, piece counts, and price points here, some of us need this info ;-)

What sets do we know are coming out next?

Robin = Nightwing. Ish. Someone with better Batman knowledge than I may be able to elaborate better. As I understand it, Dick Grayson who was the second Robin, became Nightwing when Batman was incapacitated. As it stands, he has moved away from Gotham to another city up the coast. There's been a couple more Robins since. (strolls into thread a bit late) Dick Grayson was the first Robin. When he got too old to wear elf panties and pointy shoes he got himself a darker costume and called himself Nightwing. The second Robin was a kid named Jason Todd who the Joker blew up...and he stayed dead until just recently. The third Robin, and probably the best known to the younger audiences is Tim Drake, this is who's probably under the mask of the Robin Minifig. There was also a girl Robin recently, Stephanie Brown, formerly a sueprhero named Spoiler and Tim's girlfriend. she's dead too...at least until they can concoct some assinine reason to bring her back -
So, I notice my sig has been pruned off ( :-D ) and I looked around a bit but couldn't really find the size limits for those suckers (file size or measurement), so could someone tell me where to go look or post here so I know how far to go.

The whole deal would be less shady to me if they didn't have the two Viking sets that are supposed to hit in September, and like someone else pointed out, a couple store exclusives. I hope it's legit though, I'm eager to see some reviews from anyone who's ordered new stuff -

Nice stuff! I've been attempting dinosaurs since I was old enough to hold a crayon, but I think my art style is just way too cartoony to do anything of real quality (Here's a scanned example from about 6 years ago that was part of some character work-ups I was doing for something I was authoring) And if I remember correctly, the formation Pyroraptor olympus was found in was discovered after a fire had cleared the area...hence the name. Just one question...is Triceratops elatus' skull supposed to be that elongated, or is that just how he's drawn there?
