  1. Oh my fuckin' god... that IS him, isn't it?!? And with a ton of Millenium Falcons! Oh man... LOL! Actually, it says "Franklin Duffy"... but he could be related. Wouldn't it be funny if he was also slapping upc's on those? X D
  2. This is on sale at Amazon for $5.99... I think I might grab one or two, if not for the interesting wheel wells and 1x1 slopes I like getting from X-Pods usually. Are the wheel well individual pieces, or is it 2 pieces that stretch from one side to the other?
  3. Ah, being the poor American bastard I am, I've been confined to dl'ing these off Torrentspy. Saw the Confidential DVD extra trailer with behind the scenes of the Christmas show... a bit silly honestly. The Doc's asleep in bed for most of the episode it seems. X D The new Cybermen look great! Still with their classic heads, but with adequately updated bodies. Man... I never thought we'd see new Doctor Who episodes in this day and age. *sniff*
  4. I believe going to Brickshelf and searching "2006 sets" will help. If I recall, the thumbnail you want has a pink Belville pic.
  5. My experience with them is that they tend to crash... like I'll get right up to the end, but have no way of exiting the survey... usually meaning I get redirected BACK to the first page of questions. The last time I did it, I went through the same survey 5 times only to have me leaving the site not knowing if any of it'd gone through.
  6. I've seen alot of things that supposedly don't exist. Hell, most of you will probably go to your graves not knowing the things I know about crap that goes on in this world every day.
  7. Wanna' see a picture I personally took of a naked child with a naked adult? P.S. ...I stripped them both myself as well when they were weak and couldn't move anymore. P.S. 2. ...Then I cut them open to get to their guts. http://67.18.37.14/139/30/upload/p39.jpg
  8. ::wonders what brick is used as the shoulder to the front leg:: It's a nice pile of parts there. The main pity is the weird colors tossed in out of place that shoots the uniformity down. Still, a nice set of parts for moc'ing (which is about all I see sets as). Man... I wish they'd make those FRICTION friction pegs like the eyes are attached to in different colors. It's pretty much what... black and blue, right? Not nearly enough, especially since they keep using that part in sets where blue clashes BAD with them. Not sure I dig the white-tipped horns. I mean yay for dinosaur tails in tan, but not if there's no tan barbs in any sets to go on them.. ...well, there's longer dino tips from some older sets at least.
  9. It does cut into Lego though. Though target may've paid for them already, like you said... any restocked ones may've gone back up when they were on significant sale, damaging the profit Target registers that validate carrying Lego for profit. Though this was so high profile, that all should be taken into account now. Hopefully. There's also that Lego sets which were already paid for by Target had vanished from Target... followed by appearing for sale from outlets that otherwise never needed to be ordered from Lego... and with a probability of reduced cost along with the sheer amount stolen, it had to hit Lego to some extent. Lord only knows how much he truly had done that hasn't been able to be documented.
  10. X D You're weird, but there's also something familiar about you. ...Probably know you or someone like you on some other site on the net. I doubt Lego would be making any oil drilling platforms in the next few years, as (humorously or not) there really ARE environmentally negative images surrounding them in recent news... be it the whole Alaskan drilling issue or the complete devastation of the gas price-raising refineries left in hurricane Katrina's wake. I imagine a highly expensive, super-detailed oil platform set would be a mammoth source of gray greeblies, like the super Star Destroyer and upcoming Death Star are.
  11. The more I look at'em, the more I like'em. I'm more for airtight-looking canopies, where the clear windscreens go behind bricks or down into bricks, but the rest of the design on both more than make up for it. The studs atop the nose of the red ship bug me to no end. And adding either a 2x2 flat tile or other modified smooth brick would look weird there, as the canopy arcs too quickly to make it look airtight. Worse yet, the canopy extends too close to the edge of the ship to allow for something on the sides of it... making anything placed in front look even more odd. Still, a minor quibble amongst the rest of the awesomeness surrounding it. The X-Pod borders used as plane radars used in modern aircraft comes off REALLY well. And red & white mocs ALWAYS come off powerfully.
  12. Lol... that'd be crazy. For one, once the sets are opened, the parts often wind up being dispersed inside bins of thousands. I don't see where anyone could be seen as an accomplice along with him. It looks like his methods involved little more than him, his vehicle, gas in his vehicle, and a printer to pop out bogus UPC's. I wonder, if he'd only stopped right before this last haul... he probably would've never been nailed. Or even if he hadn't, merely dropping off the load inside his car first before getting busted might've negated good reason for a search warrant to initially be issued , and subsequently then to his house. The dude got greedy. I just hope noone else was cutting into Lego like he was. Or that copycat thieves try their hand at this awhile. >__<
  13. Huzzah! Another Bionicle fan! I think that's a good thing.
  14. Reminds me of General Grievous and the Microman figure AcroPhantom. http://www.microforever.com/2004AX-21Phantom.htm
  15. Indeed you do. 1 on each side of the vehicle. Sweet mama's milk I want that.
  16. Meh. I'm not particularly loyal to any shoe. As long as it's completely black, hitop, and made strong / full of real leather... I don't give a damn. I have to admit though... I'd swear by Lego's various forms of Bionicle sneakers... but the problem is, they only felt the need to make them in kid's sizes. |-/ I was excited when I first saw their designs and would've bought them in MULTIPLES if they'd released them in size 12 adult.
  17. Oh my GOD! You posted this in the wrong forum! It was supposed to go here: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...php?act=SF&f=17 Well if this is the kind of antics we can expect from you, then mister you are banned, BANNED, BANNED! Just kiddin'. :oD The more the merrier.
  18. ^^^ Bah... how about, first come first serve? ;) Unless they're already in all of your hands, it's possible others will get them first.
  19. Like I said in the first topic here on this lol:
  20. I was a bad boy when I was really young. ...used to change the price stickers on Star Wars figures at the supermarket with ones that were less so my brother could afford them. ... ...and hell... they were charging $7.99 for figures everyone else was selling for 2.99 to 4.99. Even here, 20 years later, I don't feel too bad about it. ;)
  21. The reason I HATED Return of the Jedi even though I LOVED the one before... all the actors went super-cocky. The main guys had become such celebrities that it was affecting their acting. They all had smug grimaces, extensive makeup... bleh. They seemed as familiar with their lines as temporary extras brought on would. And then the overflowing gush of freaking MUPPETS. UGH. Like, they got LUCKY on Yoda in Empire. He was clearly a Muppet, and even had the voice of Grover from Sesame Street. X D But somehow, despite his muppety walking scenes, they pulled it off. Return of the Jedi just went insane with everything. I mean, the movie had alot going for it that you can't get in other movies, but it was just annoying to me for some reason. They took the cheap route and made a whole freaking moon of midgets in fur costumes. Sure, there were midgets in A New Hope and Empire, but these ones were BLATANTLY added to be sell-outs... to attract chicks and children. And not too credibly, they had the SAME EXACT screams as the Jawas did from ANH. I was young as hell, but I heard an Ewok scream and was like "There's Jawas from the desert on the jungle planet of teddybears?" Ick. *wacko*
  22. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...t=ST&f=5&t=2907 :|
  23. I know, I know. But it'd be perfect for a SF2 style one. Elemental attacks, powerup transformation attacks, bosses. It's perfect. :oD
  24. ? OOOooooOOOOoooh, you've been to the other site I mentioned, I see. X D Beats me, I think it's a comic book character. Someone had him as their sig on a non-Lego board I go to. LOL ::wolf crotch rides off into the sunset... contemplating asking to have this long topic closed or not::
  25. Wow. I'm wondering if he actually said that quote for quote though. Imagine if the union kicked butt and managed to end the war without needing that reason. Black people would probably still be set back by about 30 or more years than whites. If not longer. :|
