hinge bricks, cliphinges & actually, roofs that just are "wedged" in position all work pretty well.. Just with the last one..either you "block" it with a brick (internal or external) or make sure that the roof is 1 solid.

again, such much love for the old look.. & so much care into every tiny little detail.. it just looks awesome :).. great job

lovely build.. maybe a bit repetative.. but then again :) fresh.. & lush for mitgardian standards.

Nice "little" build there Kabel. :). love the hair/bird XD don't dig the posts used for the guard tower though.. makes it looka little bland to me. then again.. Since the cave is still unknown to mitgardians I'm just gonna say it's just a improvised watchtower the shraliek put up as fast a s possible.. So they didn't care about the lovely detailing ;-). great minifig posing..& still do like the snot rockwork.

a good way to get stuff stuk..is either work snot by using 1x1 with stud on side(washing machine / headlights or regular with 1 stud on side) or just with a 1x2 with 2 studs on side. or whatever you please (brackets or the lot). & go for there. Or if you rather have a small platform, us a 2x2 inverted slope & place a small plate on there (it's not super sturdy. but you can add some slanting to make it look more sturdy).

nicely done Seb.. Then again : U now have standards to uphold..& yup..you did it again. Every ship you make is a good stride forward..again with this one. besides the slopes on the rid studs..there is something i do miss;. You have the opportunity to add a lifeboat/rowboat at the back.. must be missing..must've forgotten to hang it there;. can' t be anything else :);; and i like the look of those galeries, and i do think that the red does kick it out further.. and yellow is just ..yellow without the awesomeness of added green ;-). do keep on making these ships :)..

I built my tower as 12 studs wide, so i didn't run into the problem of having uneven studs.. you could also try to have a center 2x4 or something & work from there, having the top plate overlap the bricks a bit.

now i feel sad it's all over :(.
