  1. Good catch! She does look like the same colour as the fifth skin tone in the trunk. What remains to be seen is if it's a true resurrection of the old medium brown, or a similar but new colour.
  2. Hard to make a beard that attaches around the neck sure, but it shouldn't be hard to make a hair+beard combo that's worn normally over a minidoll head and then can also work for Minifigures. I wonder why they went this route, including the face in the part.
  3. Wow! Was not expecting that! Thanks for the link. Well, that kills my excitement for that part. It reminds me of Beorn from The Hobbit - looks like a regular head with a cool beard, but is all one piece. Is this the first time LEGO has officially provided an unprinted minidoll head?
  4. I intended no sentiment about Minifigures with my comment about Minidolls, since that's a separate discussion. However, I think since Minifigure proportions are already so unrealistic, they're acceptable for capturing more different shapes, but Minidolls look closer to real human proportions and thus it's even more noticeable when they're trying to capture a character who doesn't have the slim minidoll physique.
  5. The picture with Mando and Boba's helmets next to each other is comical. They have swapped proportions. Boba's helmet looks slim and narrow (my main complaint when I reviewed it), while Mando's is quite wide - like Boba's helmet actually is in universe. I like the cheek shaping and layering for Mando, but the overall proportions are off.
  6. Definitely new and looks like one piece with the beard to me. It's similar to the Santa beard but not the same, and the connection is so close that I think it's most likely one piece. LEGO really does need a bulky minidoll for characters like this. Minidolls have such slim proportions that bulkier characters look positively anemic. Overall while it's a shame LEGO keeps treading the same ground with the bigger Disney Princess palaces, they do keep getting better, so it's hard to complain too much. I'd still love to see a proper Agrabah palace from Aladdin or a big Mulan set, but I get that Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen and Cinderella are the more popular properties with the target demographic, so they keep getting the bigger or more elaborate spotlight sets.
  7. A product that has brought a lot of people sincere joy, and been the spark for many creative minds, for decades. Its creation is perfectly worthy of celebration. Then again, I'd never heard of this particular LEGO Day before. This topic is veering a bit into a general Jurassic franchise discussion and away from LEGO. Keep it actually connected to LEGO please!
  8. Make it like The Simpsons or SpongeBob: 1-3 sets max per year.
  9. Update: the part is still "In Process" but now has a price - $1.69 USD. Still doesn't turn up when searched though. What is this part and how did I order it?
  10. The bucket handle (used for the watering can too) has never been made in lime green, or any shade of green. Only black, light and dark grey, dark tan, brown, red and pearl gold.
  11. Besides Hogsmeade, based on the film/scene where Harry overhears how Sirius sold out his friends and murdered Peter Pettigrew. And I mean, the Chamber of Secrets itself is pretty darn dark. Writing in blood. Massive horrific snake. Murderous guy from the past.
  12. They are from the new Hospital 60330. The clown head is 68369 (looks out of stock to me). The yellow afro is not currently available for purchase - 0.00
  13. The order I just placed yesterday with the dark orange squirrels and some other things has an oddity. It's showing "In Process" overall, and every part is showing In Warehouse except a mysterious part with a price of 0.00, with the SKU 6385732. I can't work out what that part is! I definitely didn't intentionally add anything weird, and it wouldn't have let me add a 0.00 part anyway.
  14. It was in stock when I ordered...
  15. This used to be true, but since they've been changing the material for transparent colours it might not be as true any more. Design ID 37775 (the newer candle flame) turns up both the transparent colours and white. Same with 79194 and 65578. In any case, we've all acknowledged that the moulds for solid colours might need to be different, but LEGO still has the element designed already, and just needs to tweak the engineering.
  16. Yes thanks! Nabbed some (wonderful, loving) dark orange squirrels to go with my (evil, invasive) grey ones. That far watering can is still out of stock, but it's already in multiple sets so I feel confident it'll be around for a while.
  17. I've always wanted that bigger pig with two studs from the LEGO LotR video game too, but I doubt it will happen.
  18. And ok sure, even if they can't physically use the same mould, they already have the animal design and would just have to tweak the engineering of a mould to fit solid colours (if that is an issue at all any more). Surely that's easier than both designing a new animal AND new mould? It's the same with the blasted goat. "The mould broke and is buried, so no goat". As if LEGO couldn't just make a new version of the mould....
  19. Besides more new animals, it's also high time that the bunny was recoloured into something other than white, and that the hare and otter moulds they already made are done as real live animals. A recoloured bunny or hare could totally work in farm sets.
  20. @Ondra so you have one data point and one idea, and that obviously outweighs and overrules all other data points and other ideas. Sure. Know when to stop. You've made your "point". You got really worked up over one LEGO set. Congrats. Leave the thread now.
  21. I think it's very similar to her Yule Ball print but without the Bindi.
  22. I'd love it to be medium brown because it'd mean we would be likely to get medium brown hands, so my poor Spider-Man 2 ambulance driver can finally let loose and take his gloves off! He's been waiting a long time.
  23. They could show us what the fifth colour they're using for skin tones is actually like, which is so hard to tell from the official images. Currently human minifigures come in four colours in Licensed themes, but the trunk includes five.
  24. I really don't think it's WB telling them NOT to do Deathly Hallows. I think this comes from LEGO themselves and WB doesn't care to push them in any direction. There's plenty of HP merchandise at large covering all 7 (/8) instalments.
  25. Scabior is more Snatcher than a true Death Eater, but minor point. Of the named ones, I'd love to get him and Yaxley. People say the tent is boring but a transforming magical tent that can be condensed down small and then opened up big would be a lot of fun. Perfect set for Scabior. Really a Ministry Heist set of any size would also be so excellent - could include the trio in their polyjuice disguises, plus at least Yaxley. Depending on size, could have both a floo network fireplace and part of Umbridge's office. Ah well, probably will never happen.
