As the creature begins to stir a slight pressure starts to build on the trio's minds. The Thudaal abruptly stands and addresses the group. "Ah, thank you. That was much appreciated."

    Polaris interacts with cube and in her mind's eye watches as a creature similar to the one in the tank is ripped from another sphere of reality into Ætherspace. The creature is captured by Ætherdivers dressed in livery featuring a wolf's head and subjected to experiments. Formula and equations begin to run through the Chimeran's head, questions about Ætherdiving, and reversal, and the link between the body and the soul.

The creature in the tank undulates in a jerky motion, but the Chimeran is unable to recall ever seeing something of its nature. Polaris Medicine Proficiency Check (DC 1) - (5, 3, 5, 6 3, 3, 5, 5 ) 3 Successes Polaris confirms that the Thudaal is in some sort of unresponsive trance, his arm resting on a holocube. Polaris Nature Proficiency Check (DC 3, 5) - (5, 2, 4) 2 Successes The identity of the creature swimming about in the tank is a mystery to Polaris having never encountered anything like it before.
