Sorry I just this was too funny.

The construct isn't bad as far as abilities, the engineer seems complicated with all of the buffs. Brick Doctor I like your class, but as has already been said it was similar to Scubacarrot's. I would however really like to see a more defense buff oriented class that still isn't a killing machine.

Heroica RPG - Quest #31: Lions and Lambs

"Now time to get down to business," Skrall thinks to himself as he sights the Rogue Lion Crossbowman A down the sight of his Heavy Crossbow from the back row. Luke launches another Light spell at the Rogue Lion Crossbowman B from the Back Row. Battle Order: Skrall Luke -

OoC: Got it, for some reason my brain inserted the word "healing" in your request. Also, a good Party Leader always carries a tonic with him. Skrall grabbed the battle mage staff that Arthur had dropped tossing it down to him, he would lose his opportunity to get a shot off but those below were going to need the help. -
Personally, I still think 8 heroes is still too many for anyone, even if you plan on splitting into mini-parties. For one, people go on quests to be with other questers, not be split into groups with one other PC and another NPC, I feel that takes away from the interaction aspect of the game. Secondly, having 4 players can be bad enough when it comes to waiting on people to declare an action let alone 8 players, thus this hampers the experience of the players who are keeping up with the quest on a consistent basis. I'm not saying that you couldn't pull it off I'm relating to you how it could be somewhat unsatisfying to your quest members.

Heroica RPG - Quest #31: Lions and Lambs

Skrall scoops up the gems and staff, placing them in his satchel, as he does so he feels a slight malevolence eminating from the amathyst but thinks nothing of it in the heat of battle. Unshouldering his Heavy Crossbow he lets a bolt loose at Rogue Lion Crossbowman A from the back row.[/i] "Luke, keep that other bowman busy with a light show. Little busy master Regulus," Skrall searches around for the healing staff but is unable to find it. Luke having gained the top of the wall, lets loose a light spell at Rogue Lion Crossbowman B from the Back Row. Battle Order: Skrall Luke OoC: Your inventory shows that you've still got it, unless you meant for it to remain at the top of the wall. -
Sisco's unfinished quest did involve time travel so you never know.

Luke comes along side, "Alexandre allow me." Luke extends his staff as the diamond atop radiates in a warm healing glow that bathes Arthur's body. -
Skrall seems to get stuck with all the nutcases. First it was the love-struck Haldor, then it was the eccentric Althior, then it was the swordpossessedd Tensi, when will it end In other news, that was a great stretch of role-playing, hurry up Doc so we can see what Flipz cooked up.

Skrall hearing the thud, turns around to see Arthur's absence, "Luke what did ya say to the lad? Never mind ya better get down there and pray that his body ain't broken past the point of yer healin' powers." Skrall peers over the top of the battlements to see if Arthur's fall had been broken by anything. -

We've had a little bit now, so I'm going to assume that Haldor is going to bet any gold. With multiple bets on the board the game dice are thrown. "I believe it is first better to gaze within and discern if there is evil within ourselves that may distort our perspective and judgement of the situation." -
Don't worry, as soon as Arthur releases any friendly fire, Skrall is going to jug him as he is endangering the mission of the Party (Lawful Neutral all the way!).

OoC: Someone watched the Avengers. Skrall turned at Arthur's sudden speech, "Glad to here it, let's finish off this rebel attack and make off after that traitor. Hopefully he's headin' back to the Cultist base camp." -
Yay! The Orc Liberation Movement finally moves forward, I wonder if Skrall's brothers are nearby.

While it would be nice to have a consistent opinion on this, I don't think their needs to be a rule about it. Some people may hold the view that elves develop at the same rate as humans and that is their creative freedom and it is not someone elses place to tell them how to role-play their character. My opinion is influenced by the Lord of the Rings, where in Bilbo was considered a young lad even at 50 years old (yes I know he was a hobbit, but I think the same could be said of elves). Remember though, there is no right or wrong answer.
-
While we're on the subject of characters collecting things, Skrall would be interested in that crossbow if no one is thinking of becoming an assassin. Also pertaining to enemies, while I like main battle bosses, I can say that from a QM perspective, it is much harder to create a single balanced enemy for a final fight than it is a group of enemies for the last fight.
-
By the way Endgame, I've been curious as to the pieces you used for Sorrow's scythe, I can't seem to place the blade part.
-
Skrall has three weapons, two of which are mearly for roleplaying (Heavy Crossbow & Greatsword of the Lions), though with Sandy's newest crossbow in quest 34, I am seriously considering going all Flipz on crossbows.

"That's the first sensible thing ya've said in a while young Regulus, glad to have ya back in the action. Alexandre, you Count Kyghton and Isabella should lead an assult on the archers while Luke, Arthur, and me pick 'em off from above. Oh and Alexandre you may be needin' this." Skrall loosed the scabbard and greatsword from his back and passed them to Alexandre. -

"Very well. My mind is made up. Cronk have you and those who are with you start after that traitor, we'll hold the fort down. Count Knyghton, see if you can figure out what defenses or artillary we may have. Isabella I want you to go with Alexandre and see if you can get the garrison ready for the upcoming battle. Luke see to it that the garrison is in fighting condition. Arthur, you and I will inspect the top of the walls and see if we can figure out the rebels' strategy." -

"Russel is either makin' for the emperor in which case Cronk and Party will catch up with him, or he's headin' off to meet with his leaders. If it's the latter, I'll be able to track em' once the battle is done and Cronk and Party can continue on their way to deliver the weapons as originally planned. Our first orders were to protect the fort and finish off the rebels, I'll check with the commander, but I think they're going to need our help here." Skrall goes off to find a commander and inquire if he thinks the imperials would be able to stave off the upcoming attack alone.
