So we seem at an impass, on the one hand those who provide cover are only shown doing so when an attack is initiated and not when there is no attack or those providing cover are always shown when they do so attack or no. If it is the latter case then I am curious as to why we didn't see the attack as we have in all of the other cases. Perhaps Brienne can provide some insight considering she protected on Days 1 and 2 but was only shown doing so on Day 2. *I mean former*

And as was shown yesterday, the Paladin did provide cover unlike you.

I am not willing to believe the excuse, that there is just a bunch of hogwash being said and that it isn't worth paying attention to. Anyone reasoning like that, deserves to be slain if they aren't willing to put in the effort to actually purge the Nephilim from our midst and yes I am looking at you, Shadir, Doranee, and Zelphie. You are some of the most looked up to heroes in this hall and all I have heard from you is complaining up until today. If you don't like the attention it is garnering you then do your part, wade through the mess and contribute. Now I have thought long and hard and considered many things and I will have many things to say so please remain with me. First off a correction of my earlier analysis, this time taking into account the possibility that Retak has lied to us and never used the magnifying glass she was given on Day 1, given that no one saw her using it this is a very real if not certain possibility. This revised theory also takes into account that Shadir might not be in possession of a Diamond but may in fact be the owner of the Topaz that killed Pauline (Shadir feel free to tell us what type of gem you do in fact possess). Additionally this also takes into account that Enya is telling the truth and that she is not able to use spells, a point I'm willing to believe given that she could have used her Spirit during the Nights with much more deadly force than a simple spell. As Calico has said, two of the three Mages must be Nephilim which accounts for the Day 1 attacks (unless of course you are of the opinion that Calico is scum, in which case only the lightning attack was from the Nephilim. I find this hard to believe given Calico's hostility towards Ezeal during Day 2). I am not of the opinion that we must kill all of the Mages nor all those with ranged attacks. I am of the opinion that we kill 2 of the mages because the evidence points in that direction and I am of the opinion that we will need to kill probably two of those with ranged attacks because again the evidence points in the direction of there being two Nephilim among them. Those lobbying against using any logic or process of elimination are far more scummy to me and are simply trying to incite panic into us as a whole. Right now, I believe we should focus are attacks on Shadir and Retak. Retak for apparently lying about using the Magnifying Glass and Shadir for being the only other Mage in either of my scenarios capable of participating in the death of Pauline. As far as others beyond that, Doranee and Zelphie seem to be inciting a riot not based on logic or reasoning, but on buzz words and cliche phrases. If Calico should be a Nephilim I'm sure they could find plenty of convicting statements over the past two days, but they instead decided to go the easier route and just shout accusations. Where were they yesterday when we were hashing all of this out with Piro the Visionary? Where were their concerns and doubts then? No, now that they are being singled out for their noncontributing behavior they make their way out of the woodwork to save themselves. If they should be part of Heroica then good, let them save themselves and actually contribute more than buzz words and propaganda speeches. If they are Nephilim then may they find death today. Another individual who has caught my eye is Corelin who has said that we should use reason and logic, but I have seen little from her in that regard these past few days. All she seems to do is provide cover, of which we have seen none of even though the Paladin did provide cover for the Halfling yesterday. Now if my calculations are correct we have: Shadir: 2+2+2= 6-18 Damage Doranee: 2+10= 12-16 Damage Retak: 2+2= 4-12 Damage Enya: 2-6 Damage Calico: 10+4+2 = 16-24 Damage Fernandu: 2-6 Damage I think we need to make sure that Shadir and Retak are taken care of first, if nothing less. Now to address my final point which I believe Chromeo has brought up as well. His theory might have some validity to it, but I'd like to wait till we see a little more evidence before we jump to that conclusion and start planning for it, but we should definitely keep it under consideration. If things are indeed not what they seem, then my theory is that whomever actually kills another hero might be susceptible to the Nephilim's influence. After all Ezeal did kill Kob during the first day and was found to be a Nephilim. Was this a matter of coincidence or did his actions only cement the Nephilim's influence in his life? Should this be the case, then we are in very deep trouble as many heroes lives have been claimed and thus many Nephilim could now be walking among us. I think time will tell though if either my or Chromeo's fears are indeed true. Now can we speak rationally, or must we return to our riotous ways?}

Point taken and it does answer a few questions, but then who fired the lightning spell at Pauline on day 1?

Enya has already claimed a topaz, which only leaves the Diamond unaccounted for. As far as I know, there has never been an established link between the Veterans and the Houses, even though one is a Bonaparte and one is closely associated with the Shadeaux.

I don't see how, it's already been discussed how some of the other words could be confused, simple/single, in/is, etc... I don't see how lightshunner/lightshunned should be any difference. Plus if you look up Lucifuge you'll see that he actively (as opposed to passively) fled from the light.

If Enya was indeed watching Retak who was raising Kob, then that would mean either the lightning killer of yesterday did not act (a fact I find hard to believe considering that the attack was Nephilim motivated and thus they wouldn't waste a night without killing) or the lightning killer acquired Pauline's Opal and decided to use it to attack the Naga. Again the only one left whom stands outside of all these actions is Shadir.}
