  1. I’ve just seen the poor quality photo. Glad the scout trooper is part of this series and also glad Vader doesn’t include a shoulder piece. But I’ll wait till we get better pictures before I make my full judgement. So what do we think is the third helmet this year?
  2. Sorry if this has already been mentioned before but this thread is moving quickly. the sanctuary II set, based on its price could this actually be a micro fighter scale ship? Which could then explain why thanos is a minifig and not a big fig
  3. Tie pilot is 724 pieces Stormtrooper is 647 pieces Boba Fett is 625 pieces So 663 fits with the Helmets so far. The 18+ is just a branding thing so they can use the black boxes and try to get more adults into (or back into) Lego building / collecting
  4. curious as to how detailed / UCS the Benatar is especially at that price point with that many figures.
  5. Sorry for asking but will the Carnage Helmet be a US exclusive? Or will it appear in the U.K.?
  6. Looking forward to the instructions for chassis 2 & 3 might have to have a play with these. I’ve only got Sbrick though
  7. The early rumours were for 3 helmets like the 2020 series so fingers crossed we get 3 this year too
  8. Promo bricks is saying that it’s still a scout trooper and not a first order trooper helmet
  9. Disappointed if the Helmet collection rumour is true and we don’t get a Scout Trooper. One of the coolest designs of all the armour plus also it must be highly recognisable at the moment because of Mando
  10. So if there’s a April - May D2C set surely we should be seeing leaks soon? I’m curious at that price point what it could be? Got to be something decent size based off similar priced sets.
  11. I’ve got the original Milano set but would love a better quality Milano or Benatar. Fingers crossed with that part count they can do it justice
  12. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with this one. your front struts look very tall in relationship to the top of the wheel. as to what to build a Golf may be easier to do. I’d opt for something with simple styling features as it may be easier to capture the shapes
  13. Some of the original Technic sets were a collection of parts and these were great additions to supplement a model.
  14. He’s replaced the hub. The video in places shows structure he’s put in to replace it. Looks like a couple of lift arms running front to back underneath are a good starting point.
  15. This might help you. Racing Brick YouTube has modified the car for a non hub powered car.
  16. I don’t have the model but I’ve just looked through the instructions online and it should be quite easy to convert the Top Gear car from powered to manual. Even the central hub should be reasonably easy to replace with a combination of connectors and liftarms.
  17. Thanks @Jim I’ve submitted my details ... I think being a Chartered Engineer working at an Automotive Manufacturer qualifies me!
  18. The more I think about this I may actually try the challenge. Depends on if i can come up with something ingesting to build from the rules.
  19. Voted No for taking part as it’s not something I’m in too and don’t have any balls for GBC but I would love to see what the community would come up with.
  20. Thanks @Jim really liked this one, looking forward to whatever you have got lined up for us next. Although if it’s a GBC one I’ll sit that out
  21. Well done everyone especially the top 3 and thanks @Jim & @Milan for another great Technic competition. Please don’t leave it too long before the next. mid table for me which I’m quite happy with especially as this was my first bike.
  22. Can we keep a track of them here to see if there’s any correlation
  23. Marvin definitely needs a skirt piece. To me it always reminded me of a Roman warrior skirt and it sticks out a lot
  24. Thanks @Jim I’ve given my opinion, perhaps a little different to some on here but if we all wrote the same that would be boring.
  25. I’ve seen the posts on Instagram about the box layouts and even if this is true this is next to nothing useless info. The only time this is useful is when the big box is opened for the first time. Just think of all the people that would pick up an individual box look at it and put it back, they may not put it back in the same place. Or think of the shop worker who tidies the shelves and compresses all the boxes together to get rid of any gaps. I still think the tiles are going to be a nightmare to collect, if someone wants to be a completionist as 2 of the 3 tiles in each blind box are random!
