  1. So... anyone know where the Mankvim-814 light interceptor appears in Revenge of the Sith? And the Recusant?
  2. I'm not sure, but judging from the gallery, it looks to be one of these connected to what I'm guessing is this. There was a link to an exploded view in the original thread, but it appears to have been removed.
  3. I think all that needs to be said of the design has been said, so here are some alternatives for the wings: TsoAutTmo - bar clips: Roguebantha - cheese slopes with brackets: Legostein - slope bricks:
  4. eilonwy77, your designs are incredible! How are they in terms of durability? Several of the patterns appear to have been done on a flat surface, so I'm wondering how they hold up (say, as part of a wall).
  5. It didn't look like much from the thumbnail, but after seeing all that intense greebling, I am very impressed. There are lots of interesting bits here and there, but the double row of screwdrivers hanging off the midsection definitely stands out. Nice work. The initial resemblance to the EF76 is intriguing as well.
  6. I don't know, I'm still waiting for the ability to place a Technic pin into a stud receptacle (or vice versa). That and being able to wedge plates between studs...
  7. In defense of my measurements, the Y-wing should be considerably longer and ever so slightly narrower than the X-wing; both criteria are met in comparing The Legonater's MINIs. (The X-wing is 13 studs long by 10 studs wide and the Y-wing is 17 studs long by 8 studs wide.)
  8. I thought the blocky and imprecise medium of LEGO and the fact that The LEGO Group will shoehorn in minifigures if it will sell a set meant that judging either of those categories was extraneous?
  9. That's some fine greebling you've done on the Y-wing. I think a bit of SNOT could improve the look of the head area, though. Personally, I've thought that the simpler shapes that make up the Y-wing would allow a better transition into LEGO, but I'll take your word for it.
  10. I don't think that's necessarily the case; look how many of the reviews in our LEGO Star Wars Index are written by AFOLs who aren't Starwarsians.
  11. Is there a quick way to use this trick while automatically retaining the original aspect ratio of the image?
  12. Surely it can't be very difficult to highlight a bunch of text and then press 'Delete'; in fact, I did it just now.
  13. The way you've constructed the sandy ridges is superb, and I like your use of plating to create the effect of ripples. Interesting choice of greebling for the escape pod... though if I were to crash-land in the middle of nowhere, I suppose it would make sense to bring along a full complement of chain saws, pickaxes, and bits of Corellian freighters.
  14. I agree with Archduke III... this looks to be a promising creation! The TIE/ln looks very nice.
  15. Suspected spam reported.
  16. I don't know... Junsier's made at least nine Slave Is, Brickartist seven BARCs, psiaki four or five X-wings, and Larry Lars at least four T-47s. Does this mean you'll be building vignettes on a regular basis as well?
  17. In that case, I'd like to see a 'Version 6' of the AT-RT.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks! If he's going to post here, make sure it's appropriate.
  19. Apparently The LEGO Group has a tradition of not releasing any large sets in the Januray wave. I think Mirandir said that they would be large molded pieces.
  20. Answered in General Questions. I'm hoping that the quality of the MINI model included will make up for that...
  21. I don't think Mirandir or BrickSpecialist mentioned anything about a Kamino-themed Battle Pack, and KimT's 2012 news topic indicates that the Battle Pack will contain one ARC and one ARF trooper, so no. Furthermore, there are only 98 pieces in the set, most of which I presume will go toward an AV-7, so it's not likely to include a Trident drill.
  22. I find your low expectations strangely appropriate.
