  1. I wonder whether the kids we've recently been getting from RFFL are related to this?
  2. There are comic representations of Star Wars creatures all over Wookieepedia.
  3. There's some great custom nose art here.
  4. Eh, I suppose so. I was referring more to a waste of time on Krell's part, though. That is to say, why is he slaughtering clones when he's supposed to be trying to win the war? Oh, wait, he doesn't actually care about winning the war...
  5. But hadn't we been wishing for more Endor rebels and scout troopers all this time?
  6. Having the clones chase Krell seemed like a waste of time for me, especially since Krell himself had presented the entire campaign as being dependent on efficiency. I suppose the revelation that Krell consciously ordered the troops against each other negated all of that, but that in itself wasn't all that great of a decision for the episode plot.
  7. Mainly Krell, I guess. It's as I said on FBTB: I had already hinted before that I would be disappointed if Krell ultimately turned out to be leaning towards the dark side... which is exactly what happened in this episode. I suppose it wasn't unexpected (and I see all three of you have touched on this point), but I wanted the scriptwriters to have an interesting end for this guy, as opposed to this cliche one. In addition, it appears I am the only one who was thrown off by Krell's 'carnage' in this episode, which didn't seem to have much purpose other than to have us see him fighting. I will say that, in accordance with the thoughts of the reviewers, the action and drama in this arc was good. Not being a regular viewer of the show, the idea of caring about the clones is still something relatively new to me, but the writers did a good job with it.
  8. Think I'll keep an eye on this guy...

  9. The reviewers' responses are unusually positive toward what I saw as a poorly written episode. Maybe it's just me...
  10. Wait, what? You can't possibly be serious.
  11. It's taken from the Star Wars Technical Journal. There aren't very many UCS X-wings out there, so that would be a very interesting project to see. Oh, and to continue from my last post, here's how one Trekkie put it:
  12. According to Wookieepedia the TIE Advanced x1 is larger than it is in the film because the film never said it couldn't be, and the Essential Guide schematics aren't wrong because the films don't "specifically state the particulars". See what kind of screwball logic they're using? Going off the head of the pilot figure used in the model, the A-wing is actually around 4.8m long. That being said, Jerrec's (and yours) looks to be to scale with minifigures, but only because the head of a minifigure is larger in proportion to its body than that of an actual person.
  13. The size of the tri-droid is actually quite disputed, though that's partly due to stylistic variations and different fabricated numbers among different 'canon' sources. In any case, a nice MOC. The SNOT sphere is well executed, and the levers around the base of the sphere are a nice touch. Am I correct in identifying this as the version from THE Clone Wars film?
  14. Technically - and I am simply offering an explanation courteously - you started a thread to ask a question, and since said question was answered, the thread was locked in accordance with typical forum procedure.
  15. If I may offer my opinion, the fact that some panel lines have been molded into the surface (unlike the other two planets) makes up for the lack of printed lights.
  16. Clever use of the click hinge to represent the rancor's snout. The leg work is superb as well. I think the tail could be improved, though - as it is now it's rather board-like. Perhaps something along the lines of a cone?
  17. If you're looking for inspiration, there are quite a few craft from X-wing Alliance that you haven't done... like this one.
  18. Could you tell us what it's intended to read?
  19. Um, my brain and the Internet? But thank you for the compliment.
  20. Minifigure scale? That's only 15-16 studs long! I'll definitely be looking forward to this!
  21. Well, the worm gear doesn't sit well with me either*, but from the beginning I've been trying to give this the benefit of the doubt. *See what I did there? EDIT: Wait, don't tell me you actually like the front bit? I'm only tolerating it because I don't feel anything better is really possible at this scale other than Psiaki's solution. Now 1:28 UCS scale, that's a different story...
  22. Great scene, General Magma. The only thing I'd like to know is, what did you mean by a 'purple carrot'?
  23. I'd say this aft view of 9493 should be enough to convince everyone that it is not too similar to 6212. The area's been vastly improved.
  24. The moment Krell started randomly slaughtering clones and jumping out a window was when this episode started going downhill.
