Lego "Brick Friday" Exclusive VIP Access Event!
just2good replied to mostlytechnic's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Dang it, I'm probably not in the top 25 in my store. I'm, like, number 50. I hope that holiday set is not just for this event. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
just2good replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
They also got a lot of other 2013 stuff, so I think they're just a store that got an early shipment, like most of the other 2013 listings on eBay... The worst part- they live in Florida. If they did find it in stores, then that means I could too. -
It's also under Exclusives, and Exclusives is basically the same thing as Legends on the site. So I don't think they're re-releases.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
just2good replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
According to the Netherlands LEGO site 'BrickShop', set number 76007 will be released in January. LEGO compensating for Marvel due to the Arkham DC set. Nice! -
No, it's a Spring theme. The LEGO Reform of 2013 is (probably) bringing in lots of new sets per season. I was wrong. Galaxy is getting a second wave.

MAN YOU'RE ON A ROLL SCI WITH NEW NEWS. Dang it, I was hoping for the Chima wolves to suck! I was wrong. I'm sad to admit it, but the figures of Chima are great.
-
You found it Sci! I'm hoping this is Europa. I AM HOPING IT'S EUROPA.

Here are my price predictions (in USD): 79000 Kraang Lab Escape--$10 or $12 (this all depends on the 2013 LEGO reform: will they start to make $10 licensed sets?) 79001 Stealth Shell in Pursuit--$15 or $18 (most likely $15 due to the 2013 LEGO reform on "bang for the buck", unless they pull a LEGO City-like $18 move) 79002 Shredder's Dragon Pursuit--$20 (most likely $20 due to the 2013 LEGO reform on "bang for the buck") 79005 Baxter's Robot Rampage--$40 (see the Fun House set) 79003 Turtle Lair Attack $50 (488 pieces, come on) 79004 Shellraiser Street Chase--$60 (already confirmed) On other news, I'm sad the Baxter set doesn't come with a Foot Soldier. I wanted every TMNT to come with one so it could replace my army of Harry Potters.

Thank you so much! 79005 looks amazing! I love the April and Baxter figures! And the 79001 looks way better up close!

Someone put another Sith Trooper on eBay. I can't put the picture up for some reason, but here's the link.

Woah, Groove Bricks beat us to posting this tidbit of LOTR 2013 news. Eurobricks is usually the first to report news! 2013 LOTR sets listed on Dutch shop.

Nope, we were talking about it a couple days ago. Thanks for the news anyways.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 9 Rumours & Discussion
just2good replied to muscleman's topic in Special LEGO Themes
BUT, the first picture of Series 8 came out from the Polish (?) LEGO Club Magazine on June 10th 2012 (before the list), while the Series 9 magazine picture came out yesterday on November 5th, 2012. So we might get more pictures sooner. -
Thanks for the info! I really want this set now! I like the glow-in-the-dark pieces, but the figures, mushrooms, and leaves are just too good. I really think these are going to come out next week, seeing how the last video (which was leaked) is coming on November 12th. Hopefully it will show up on Toys"R"Us.com this weekend!

Hey everyone, don't forget the ponies! I saw this article yesterday (on Equestria Daily ) and all I worry about is the fate of MLP:FiM, the Hub, and Kre-O. Would Disney terminate their license with TLG to start making Kre-O stuff? It would be very unlikely, but it could happen after this. I would like to see the Kre-O brand be retired, so we can get some nice MLP:FiM and Transformers LEGO sets (it would look way better if designed by TLG). And then, what would happen to the Hub and MLP:FiM? Would Disney start putting Disney XD shows on their, and make it like the current Nicktoons channel but for Disney? What would happen to MLP:FiM? All I hope is that Disney doesn't put their say in the series.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
just2good replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If I was Cuusoo, I would of totally released the Modular Western thing in September or October. Now, when they release it, it will take up a quarterly set space. And, I don't think it will have a conflict with the Lone Ranger sets. Look at the Kingdoms Joust from January of this year. It came out a couple months before LOTR. But, now it may be a bit too late to not cause conflict with the Lone Ranger. -
Well, when talking about stuff like this, I look at 2009 and up. In 2009, we had the second wave of Agents and the second wave of Power Miners. Then, we had the third (and fourth in the US) of Power Miners and the second and third wave of Space Police going on in 2010. And, if Kingdoms counts, we had the second wave of Kingdoms, the second wave of Ninjago, and the third wave (and fourth wave in the US) all going on in 2011. It seems like LEGO has stopped focusing on extra waves of minor action themes since 2012 had none (Ninjago is a major action theme, as it has a TV show, waves of lots of sets, and a lot of advertising).

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 9 Rumours & Discussion
just2good replied to muscleman's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It looks really legit! When he first messaged me a week ago I really thought it was fake, but he pulled it through! Looks great! Posted by Noriart on Flickr. -
And you're very lucky to still have 2 sets!

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 9 Rumours & Discussion
just2good replied to muscleman's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow. I'm probably getting duped by this. I NEVER fall for this type of news, but wow. This YouTuber has made a video of a rumored Series 9 figure he got from a friend. And, it actually looks real. I looked very closely, and the printing all looked genuine. I'm usually the first to point out the flaws of videos like this, but I have found none in this video. This could very well be the Alien Trooper figure from the rumor list! -
It surprises me, too, but also saddens me. Thanks for the info anyways, 'Cwetqo'. Let's hope Galaxy Squad does get another wave.

Could this post by someone who works at LEGO mean the revival of Pirates in Summer 2013?
-
Thanks for the tip, 'Kez'! I was not expecting a designer video for this. It was neat!

Oh, shoot! I didn't see the "in the know" part! Sorry! I gotta start reading more carefully! I'm a bit too excited for this theme, and I love predicting stuff! Now for someone "in the know" knowing, that is something that is "too early" to tell!
