REVIEW:79003 An Unexpected Gathering
just2good replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great review, 'Captain Beerbeard'! It is nice to see viewpoints from someone who thinks this is a C-rated set. Every has been praising it, but I can see where you're coming from with the stickers and price. I personally would give this set a 9.75/10, but it is not perfect like many others have said it to be. No set is perfect unless it's $1 for a new good quality figure (like that Chase McCain promo set). -
It really does line up... $40 (practically every exclusive set), and two non-exclusive hero figures and at least one exclusive villian figure (Zombies, Baxter set, Funhouse, ect).
-
It looks promising! I really liked the 2009 movie. Looking forward to the trailer. Also, I heard 9 minutes of the movie is going to be shown before The Hobbit in IMAX theaters...
-
That was AWESOME!!! I hope this means we'll get that Zelda Cuusoo set! Oh, the English version is here.
-
I'm curious too... And isn't the Summer wave a Coast Guard wave? Why would a bike be in a Coast Guard set?
-
That really sucks. You should check any Toys"R"Us stores nearby. Some have the Skateboard polybag.
-
Florida does tends to be the first place on the East Coast to get stuff first. I'm hoping they come out Friday. I'll be checking everyday though. The TMNT sets are just too good to miss.
-
Saw this on a Toys"R"Us flyer. None of the stores near me have the sets, though. Flickr link (I live in Coral Springs, Florida by the way)
-
Is that yours, Sci? Oh, and down time deleted one of my earlier posts: the Hobbit poster came out in TRU a month before the sets, so this TMNT poster doesn't indicate that the sets will be out next week. But, judging by the patterns for licensed sets, they should show up in TRU next week or the week after, anyways.

Yea, the 'New Content' feature hasn't been working for me all day.

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
just2good replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
There use to be a topic, but it got canned. It was when I was in my dark ages, and before I started watching MLP:FiM. I understand the reason. I think we should probably has a general video game thread and movie thread, too. This topic is basically the MLP:FiM topic, as it makes up most of the recent posts. -
They had the Museum there? Nice! That one isn't out at the LEGO store yet.

Looking at the instructions of 30230, I'm pretty sure it's an orange team member!

Ah, this was by 'BrotherhoodWorkshop'! They have a lot of other hilarious LOTR Brickfilms, too!

The episode of MLP:FiM today, Magic Duel was great! It was funny, the Fluttershy parts were super cute, but their was a lot of fan service. Best of the season so far! 8.75/10 -
2013 Winter wave sets.

Thanks! 'TragicBanjo' is right, the second part is indeed a frying pan.
-
Why do all the Toys"R"Us locations have only these three? Oh, I reviewed the Space Swarmer set: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSPHNqjWWfA And I changed my profile picture to the Twitch family portrait! Oh, and for those wanting a comparison:

I'm gonna see it after school on the release date, hopefully in 48 fps in 3D.
