  1. *The statue is carved from, what appears to be, solid bone-now petrified. There are some tiny chunks missing, but no markings or inscriptions. There is nothing that looks like a switch or lever although the beast has several appendages: * *How would you like to investigate the walls?* "The Guard House sits in the middle of the main staircase. It would be impossible for an entire room to be behind either wall..."
  2. *Ingrid taps the walls. The stones all appear to be stones, although she still wouldn't call the walls "solid." There are many cracks and more than a bit of erosion.* *It seems that most people have left their jewelery off for the trip. Johnson Willoughby seems to be wearing a silver watch while Penny has a beautiful silver necklace on. It appears to have a locket pendant, with some sort of gem embedded in it...*
  3. *Fred looks through both archways, only to see "solid" walls. The archways are structural, not doorways.*
  4. *Sheldon tries to pull the torch out of the wall, but it is not removeable* *There is no flashlight available.* *Richard moves the torches to the opposite position that they started in. Pulleys are heard moving behind the wall. A click is heard followed by a high pitched ringing sound, like metal hitting stone.* *Examining the demon statue for keyholes, Richard finds none...*
  5. *Richard has a general freakout when confronted with the demon statue.* *Sheldon tilts the third torch into the down position. A pulley can be heard squeaking behind the wall, but nothing happens...* *Richard calms down a moment to examine the hole where the fourth torch has falled out or been removed. There is a hole where the torch holder used to reside and a perpendicular shaft that meets the open hole. Currently the hole is empty.* *Richard pulls all three torches to the down position. Again, pulleys are heard moving behind the wall, but nothing happens.*
  6. "This is all very exciting. I'm amazed with the discoveries we've made since we started. However, the eclipse begins at midnight, so we only have a little more than an hour to get through the Guard House, Main Chamber and to the Courtyard. Let's move the tour onto the Guard House." The Guard House
  7. Sorry Striker! Looks like I locked you out, mid-post. Save that thought.
  8. *That's hilarious. Game paused for one hour while the game host puts the finishing touches on the entrance chamber and gets the map and tour info to the tour guide... The narration is self-referential.*
  9. Just be patient. This game isn't going to fly along. There are a lot of people playing and I want everyone have a chance to join in solving puzzles and things. So, please continue to be patient and just enjoy the clues and puzzles and anything else that may happen.
  10. *The sword has already been passed and it caused nobody to be burned...*
  11. *Fred's solution is correct.*
  12. *Jack stand with his back to the group, eyeing over his shoulder suspiciously. He stand there for a very long time.*
  13. *Jack whips around but nothing out of the ordinary is seen over or around the area where the message was scratched.*
  14. *Siegourney looks carefully at the spot where the scratching was heard and discovers a very clear message scratched in the dirt: "Silver | _ _ _ _ _ | _ _ _ | _ _ _ _ "*
  15. *the scratching sound is heard again. Perhaps the group should check the spot in the dirt without disturbing it...*
  16. *Penny lifts the nest only to find a family of large cockroaches.* *The message scratched in the dirt is no longer useful. The asterisks (*) represent where the message was obscured, so you have no indication now how many words there are in the anagram or how many letters in each word. You would have a clue, had you been more careful...*
  17. *Diesel checks the niche where the tablets had fit and doesn't discover anything else of interest, especially not a slot.*
  18. *Jack Baxter picks up the piece of copper out of the bird's nest. It is a small key.*
  19. *Stanton looks at the metal and identifies that it's something made of copper. It appears very old. He can't see anything else from this viewpoint.* *Donna also stares at the piece of copper.*
  20. *Fred Thomas investigates the hole under the arch. There is a bird's nest inside, long since abandoned by it's architect and resident. There is the faint glint of metal among the branches and twigs that make up the nest...*
  21. Welcome you guys! Thanks for agreeing to play. Please get those avatars and character names in your profile or sig. Thanks!
  22. This forum is for LEGO, not knock-offs. Please post crap imitation brands in the Community forum. Thank you.
  23. Wrong!!!! *You must be more specific if you wish to search for something.* *The anagram remains unsolved...*
  24. *Sylvia examines the remnants of the message. There is not much left. "Si******_ _******_ _ _****" It looks like there was a word or two then a series of dashes... Sylvia takes a rock and starts cautiously digging in the dirt, obscuring the rest of the message that remained. After excavating a few inches of Earth, she finds nothing.*
  25. *Richard pushes the tablets aside. On the ground beneath them, it appears that something had been written or scratched into the dirt. An "S" and some dashes can still be made out, but the message-if there was one-has been obliterated by the falling and dragging of the tablets.* *Richard & Sylvia look around for something to dig with. There are some flat stones nearby that look easy to move.*
