Is it really that big of a deal? We work hard on the graphics and I personally want people to see the designs. We have a different skin for each forum and I enjoy making them. Perhaps I'm being overly selfish by wanting people to see them. We have to mess with the software to make certain ones selectable and we're discussing what to do. Feedback is appreciated but try not to be too exasperated when you can't see your favorite skin on every board. We will listen to feedback and make what changes we feel necessary. Thanks.

I think it was in Cafe Corner or Market Street. It is nice to see it used again, but it has been back in production for a couple of years. I'd like to see even more come back into production, though. There were some excellent classy molds in this line. So beautiful...

I don't think it was his sig, since the pics are 80K and 30K respectively. They also meet our signature pixel height suggestion, so I can't see any reason to ask him to reduce it. Are you sure there wasn't anything else in the thread causing your browser to load it slowly, or perhaps a hiccup in your internet connection?

No, it's not and it won't be. Yeah, I liked the stacking idea too. It goes along with the them of "building." I really liked that. But, too many people didn't get it. I figured it best to stick with what people were used to. In the long run, it's design by committee which means it's not as creative as it could be.

All feedback on the topic icons has been taken into consideration and the icons have been altered. Please note they contain the technic brick that was so liked in the last version and use official LEGO colors: Blue, Sand Blue, Dark Red, Sand Red, Dark Purple and Sand Purple. It's been a long time since somebody gave me a title, but I've been given "Respect my Cake" because I'm sick of nerds who play Portal and make jokes about it that I can't follow along. Let's see, what else have I had recently? For a while I had "Part calm, part witch hunt." Followed by "Part Calm, Part Monkey Hunt" Someone needs to help me with this, there may have been many iterations: Part Calm, Part Witch Hunt, Part David, Part Monkey Hunt... I don't remember the order or the pairings. Maybe all four were in there at some point. Oh well... I gave myself the title "Respect my balls" for a while, because people should...

It's near impossible to become an independent LEGO seller. I tried it in the past and even the sales rep for my region didn't fully know the rules. It lead me in a very frustrating circle and in the end it wasn't available to me because I couldn't demonstrate three years worth of positive customer service reviews. I asked if eBay or Bricklink feedback counted, but they never got back to me. I don't think the company is interested in small independent retailers...

I've been wondering about that too. Only time will tell. I know nothing of these matters though. My focus is on model design...

Whatever do you mean? For good! I'm needed for the Florida project. I'll be back in two years to install. Maybe before that too, depending on what further help they need developing here.

Singapore is ridiculously expensive too. I can't believe the prices they charge out here. They're sky-high compared to the States. Yes, it's real. I don't know why there's so much skepticism towards this park. But, rest assured it's real. I'm sitting here right now prototyping a model of a famous site. Actually, I'm surfing EB and should be prototyping... I think it was me who asked, but either way, cool! I know where that is. I leave here in 34 days, though.

The render is from Bricklink... And we've had these: since I took over graphics. They are not cartoony, in my opinion. They match the plates I just created just fine.

I ate durian long before I came here. Not horrible, but it's something I would never do voluntarily. What's the point? I love the food here, though. Chinese Carrot Cake, steamboat, coconut, Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Cili Padi, Satay, just to name a few. And I love how spicy everything is and how many variations of spicy there are! Yeah, the food is my favorite part. I really love it. And you can buy it anywhere. Food is everywhere. In the middle of a highway there's a food stall. Fresh satay. Thanks. Thanks for pointing that out. We're working on the forum legend. I decided to go with shades to match our skins. I didn't like the old ones with the official colors. I thought they were garish against the muted, earthy, deep and more organic tones of our skins. Although these colors don't exactly exist in LEGO, I think they match our site much better.

Wow! Lots of new members from Malaysia! Well, two anyway. I'm staying in Gelang Patah until November 19th. I've been here since July working on the new LEGOLAND park.
