I just re-throned you.

It sounds like it will be available to the public. Robert refers to "sets that create the interior of the ISS" that will only be available to NASA...

The two different price points and skill levels probably aim them to different demographics.

It's not the only way to do it. Buildings can just come down to the one end and have an alley in between. I can't say inside corner buildings are that common. I'm sure this post will be followed by tons of pictures of examples. But I'm not accustomed to them in the cities I've lived in, unless they are part of condominium or apartments complexes. And I've always imagined my City layout would have all outside corners with roads and intersections stopping them from ever forming a cul de sac. I hope you find a good solution and I'm not trying to pull the creative rug out from underneath you. I'm sure this will spark a lot of creativity and great design. I just think it's a lot of effort, for little design place, and personally would concentrate my efforts on buildings with greater facade space to design.

Thank you Robert! Grogall, our forum rules are to post pictures no bigger than 800 x 600. Thanks

I was thinking the same thing except I said, "Wow, this is close to tasty that Captain Blackmoor doesn't use search." Really, Blacky, that's nearly scrumptious, practically toothful!

What exactly are you asking? If you want instructions for that, it's the 10182 Cafe Corner. Check Peeron.

Fabuland Builders Guild - Discussion Thread
Hinckley replied to Shadows's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have no idea. Since it's long gone from the official color palette, I can't check my sources. Hmmmm...how to find out... -
The beginning comes back at the end too. I love all of their stuff. Their two latest albums, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown are phenomenal. Tool is also awesome. Tool and Brothers Quay. What a combo!

No. We just didn't have it on with the old software, so the comments couldn't have appeared the way he said they did. Not conforming. Read it right.

I don't even know where to start. This is fantastic! I love the whole layout. I...need time to think more before commenting. It's great to see your new stuff and even better to see you posting. I hope we get to hang out again some day! And I hope I get better at returning e-mails.

I looked for those! Where were they? Thanks for posting. Um, that's not the NASA line... Not the top pic. I don't know what the top pic is from. I saw it on The Brothers-Brick but assumed it was a MOC. It'd kick megablocks if it were an official set. I need to see what context this picture was posted in.

LDD Community Build?
Hinckley replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hey Superkalle, I'll volunteer to moderate one if you need. I'm on a lot and can easily coordinate a build. It might be fun to start two teams with one file and see what they end up with at the end, how different they become. So, are we starting separate threads for each Relay Race? Is there an official signup? I'd of course like to participate in one as well as moderate another. -
Thanks to everyone for all the nice birthday wishes. Sorry to bump this topic. I'm way late in thanking an EB member for a very special birthday gift. I'm referring to belun, a member with only two posts, but she's someone special to someone who's special to us. Anyway, she custom made a card for me and here it is: Special Limited (meaning 1) Edition LEGO birthday card by belun: It came with a Limited Edition Buzz Lightyear with custom birthday flag! Amazing, isn't it? Then there were three pages of special wishes! Page 2 of special wishes (Names have been hidden to protect the innocent): And the last one even rhymes! How clever and special There's even a back cover! Thanks belun and belun's friend. You made my birthday really special. It was nice to have friends nearby since I was so far from home.

This is quite impressive. I really love the way you achieved the gabled roof. You should really consider an entry in the Fabuland Builders Guild. Go get yourself some Fabuland figs and join us. It's a very similar style. This MOC has a very classic feel to it, yet it's look transcends the medium. The only disappointment for me is that there's nothing deviant in the cave. Although I like the way the door fits, I would also like to see it with Mac-K's suggestion. I'm a sucker for that part though. The classic doors and windows really are nostalgic for me. The wood railing up the stone steps is absolutely fantastic! I, of course, love the log SNOT technique too. That really helps to give the MOC it's unique look. I have a similar, yet very different, technique for a Fabuland log cabin at home. I can't wait to be around my bricks again. I miss them! The interior is excellent. I always appreciate a MOC that puts as much into the interior as the exterior. It's too often overlooked, even by me. I always like little surprises and used to love getting LEGO sets as a kid so I could finally see what they had inside! I was oftentimes disappointed, but some of the sets had cool surprises, like trans-mugs, brushes, drawers, stoves, pots and pans, etc... Is the bear skin a LEGO piece? Maybe from the DUPLO cavemen? Clever, if so. Great idea to post the WIP shots, although I spent way too much time looking at them. It's great to see the process though. I try to wrap my mind around what you were planning in each phase. Oh, sorry to bump this. I've been trying to comment on more MOCs and saw this in your sig.
