As Uhura pointed out yesterday, Sulu did not vote for McCoy on Day One. As she also predicted, in this setup, Scum would not vote for each other unless hard pressed to do so. Now, at least, we can look at Uhura's analysis, sparse as it may be, and know it was coming from a place of truth...and an odd sense of spite. I'm fascinated to see who McCoy will vote for today.

Then why didn't she put up a fight? I know the writers didn't write her well but I thought she would fight if wrongly accused? No wonder this show got cancelled. McCoy, you did an amazing job, but I think your time is finally up and the dead board is probably super annoyed that you're still in the game. I still don't find you that Scummy. Has a Scum ever survived three possible lynches on consecutive game days?

I disagree with myself. Captain Kirk is clearly dreaming. Uhura called us sheep when she sheeped on to every other player that had been lynched. That's not the Uhura I know. If this is somehow not a joke on us, I have zero explanation for Uhura's behavior being Townie. Zero. Where's the "Ha! Gotcha!" part of the story Commander @Bob ?

Your name is Periu Thakus. That's what the Romulan name generator tells me, anyway.

Did they find the real Sulu yet? Did we get ice cream? Someone promised we'd have ice cream.

Oooooh! A vote count. Fancy.

Oh yay! He chose me to try to convince Malloy and Chapel of being Scum. Aaaaw, gee. Thanks. Luckily, Chapel probably won't fall for that and I don't know who Malloy is but Mallory probably won't fall for it either. But it's not like he wasn't trying it yesterday too: So was I driven mad by not being able to read Uhura or was I a diabolical mastermind orchestrating the death of every Starfleet Officer on this ship? Notice there's no vote to go along with the accusation. Just hoping someone else will cultivate the seed. Unlike his repeated emphatic votes for McCoy, or his repeated confident sheep votes. But I delivered his votes onto those wagons, because that's what I do. Deliver lynches. Actually, I hope we get this sorted soon, I have midwife class. Oh, well that's much more clear. What's the difference between led and delivered? In the context of me being responsible for the lynches... I've led a pingless life. Or did I deliver a pingless life? My votes aren't anywhere near pingless. Chapel definitely doesn't like the way I hang back and wait to see what other people do. I think someone else mentioned it. Sulu? Me? Didn't I spend several paragraphs touting my enormous ego and why I placed my votes where I did? Why I never voted first, why I voted when the votes could still go both ways? I explained my views on the weight my vote carries in detail. And I even demonstrated why your and Sulu's votes always being in close proximity with mine or with the direction I was delivering the lynch. Mwahahahaha! We cannae do it, she doesn't have enough power! But I do! Mwahahahaha! I have the power to deliver every lynch!! Mwahahaha!!!!! Oops, what was I talking about? Oh right, me. My vote position has been super Scummy every day. And definitely not the way I usually roll. I mean, we could analyze the last few games I played. I had been trying to sit back more and more as Town, but enough about me. I've been deliberately pingy, WIFOMing my proximity with Mallory. Nobody dug into it because honest actions read as honest. My next Scum game is going to suck! Apologies to whatever Scum team I end up on. I can't replicate this gameplay as Scum. I've tried. It doesn't work. I mean to say "Great analysis" yesterday and I forgot. I was in a hurry in the morning and you and Mallory both posted walls of text while I was sleeping. I meant to address this question. I had addressed it earlier in the game and did again above, there. Didn't want you to think I was ignoring it. I originally quoted your entire post to make a joke about this being a TV show, but I can't remember what and I read the post three times and I'll never get that time back. I will say, it's interesting that now she has finally gone through this case from beginning to end, which doesn't count once you've been accused by everyone in the game. I think only your action before that counts at this point. It's also odd how much of her case against McCoy revolves around me??? But she never comes out and closes that case. Maybe she wants Malloy to do it, whoever he is. For the record, I was never cheerful when I was gathering and never gathering when I was cheerful. Wait...what? We see the Scotty seed planted again, with hopes someone will water it. I deliver lynches and carry the day, like a Titan. I'm that good. Super smart place to put your vote since Sulu and McCoy are voting together. Beep! Beep! Move, bitch! Get out the way! The teammate bus is coming through. This quote altogether is basically: Scotty's Scum. McCoy McCoy McCoy. Sulu? Who's that? If it's not McCoy, it's Scott. But if you had me at rapier point, it's Malloy or Chapel. Why am I voting for Sulu? Because Chapel, who I have a gut feeling is Scum, has a good point so I'll vote along with her at a vital point in the balance of the game because if I voted for her then I wouldn't be on my Scum teammate's lynch vote and it would look way worse for me tomorrow. So I'm going along with the plan of my gut feeling Scum read and voting against someone I've vaguely mentioned one time during the entire game and who am I kidding? Scotty delivers all of my votes. Sulu made the same point! Even Scum can sniff out Scum. Vote: Uhura (Chromeknight) I was really hoping that Mallory, Uhura and I were on the same side because I'm painfully nostalgic for Ragnarok 3. This is one reason Uhura flying under the radar worked for the first couple of days. She was doing enough to avoid suspicion and I really wanted her to be on the same side. This is all assuming I'm right. There seem to be enough inconsistencies that I'm confident we're right? Otherwise, I look forward to working together again some day. Maybe even with PMs! Although I'm not sure my life would support that sort of time investment in a game ever again. But never say never! to every player from beginning to end of this game. My sarcastic sense of humor sometimes gets carried away so I hope I haven't hurt Chekov's feelings. That was weird. I meant anyone's feelings. I sincerely apologize if I have. I mean, there's no rule about formatting, but I forgot to bold it for Captain James T. Bob's sake: Vote: Uhura (Chromeknight)

Just to clarify: I'm blowing off steam, not gloating. I have more questions: I hear tell of Genghis Khan joining us too. Where is he? If the real Sulu is hidden somewhere on this ship, wouldn't he be with the other real member of our crew who is an impostor on the bridge? Can't security just tell us who they find Sulu with? Is a zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes?

Congratulations on avoiding three lynches. Technically, four. Because I thought we should've lynched you yesterday. Sowwy. I'm drinking to Sulu right now. The real Sulu. I admit, I'm actually having a drink to relax off of the Mafia stress. No really, I am. We should definitely have a dance party: Let me say that this game must be super racist if the Scum are Hulu and Uhula. Hulu and Uhura Prime. I'm thinking about watching a movie... McCoy is looking at the IDEAS topic!!! He's Scum!!!

OK, Uhura's diatribe at the end of yesterday reminded me how a certain Hippo bemoaned not being able to PM during a holovideo called The Forest 3. He very calmly detailed life without PMs this time around. Compared to the torture it was for the hippo and the ease of acceptance and analysis from Uhura, I'd say he's playing a different side this time. If you haven't seen that video, I'll break it down for you: The hippo is Uhura. He hated not having PMs in The Forest 3 and he was a Townie. He hasn't complained once about it and this situation is much more frustrating than The Forest 3...well, from my perspective because I hosted The Forest 3...so is his lack of complaint over not PMing a Scum tell? Reee-Rooo! Reee-Rooo! Reee-Rooo! What's that noise? Metagaming Alarm! Reee-Rooo! Reee-Rooo! Reee-Rooo!

If Bob were here, he'd probably say "No more comments on the game from the dead until the Conclusion." And then he'd say "But I super WUBS you!!!! " Sounds like Bob to me, anyway.
-
I was hoping this was a Freudian slip: The last Scum. Collectively? I was thinking a Townie would say "They are the Scum." I have some thoughts on the who the last Romulan is. But I'd rather take a freaking break and enjoy the feeling of my brain re-shaping itself into a braid. Wait, not braid, brain. See? It's working.

Kindly stop responding to the confirmation thread jokes and post Day Five. Pweeeeeeeeeeeeease!!

No. Nor may you eat Life cereal.
-
No life during Mafia, damn it.
-
@Bob, having no Night Actions and making us experience a Night Phase is Still love your game, thanks for hosting. Where is Day Five?

I just over-taxed my brain imagining the scenario tomorrow if Sulu is Starfleet. I got all the way to "What if it's like Witch Hunt and there are no Scum?" My head hurts now.
-
My brain actually will explode if we have to go there.

Well, now I'm paranoid that you did the same thing browsing-history-wise to do the same thing game-wise. You both evaluated the entire game to vote for Sulu in a similar manner to how I post. What if you're just mimicking my thought process to make me not feel paranoid and you're the Romulans? And then you say this: So, is Sulu Town and you're Scum with Uhura, the other person who has laid the ground work to lynch me? You and Uhura should feel really relieved that there's no PMing this game. Imagine what your life would be life fielding me in and out of the game. By imagine, I meant remember Ragnarok 3... vote: Sulu (Tariq J) And help us all if he doesn't turn up Romulan.

Unofficial freaking vote tally Uhura: 2 (Umbra-Manis, Tariq J) Sulu: 3 (Khscarymovie4, CMP, Chromeknight) Nonvoters: Hinckley So you've said McCoy and I are Scum but you accused Uhura. That's the second time this game you've called another character me? Or did you mean to say I'm McCoy's Scum buddy?
-
I looked and looked and looked.
-
Why is everyone claiming to be Town? Can't some Romulan just confess already? Unofficial freaking vote tally Uhura: 2 (Umbra-Manis, Tariq J) Sulu: 2 (Khscarymovie4, Chromeknight) Nonvoters: CMP, Hinckley

The WIFOM of Uhura saying the Scum would never vote for each other in this setup is also interesting since Uhura and Sulu have never voted for each other. Mallory, Chapel and I have also never voted for each other but by her own litmus test, Uhura has never accused us of working together by that matrix. As I stated earlier, it's interesting that with her low activity, Uhura has on two occasions given us definitive statements about how the Scum behave in this setup. I meant until today... Is it too early to start drinking?
-
This game... I knew this wouldn't be easy but I'm pleasantly surprised at how complicated it is. You have both stated you don't think it's Uhura and McCoy and Uhura has stated that the two Scum would never vote for each other unless pushed. If McCoy and Uhura are the two Romulans and voted for each other just so that we would think this, Uhura even served up some WIFOM for us to go with it. I was going to suggest we finally lynch McCoy. I feel better about Sulu or Uhura but every time I feel better about something in this game, the candidate is Town. If I'm right to trust the two of you (and if I'm wrong, the game is pretty much already over so great job because I don't know if I even have the energy to suspect you at this point) and we vote out McCoy and we're wrong, it's still 3 of us against 2 of them. My only valid concern about McCoy is that his posts are middle-of-the-road. He calmly defends all accusations and when he accuses, with the exception of Uhura (see my theory above) he is basically parroting other players. Obviously, my reads on Uhura and Sulu are stronger. But I'm a little lynch-shy after Chekov. We're going to get a lynch today, though. So I'm on board with whoever we can agree with. We do have a fourth Starfleet Officer among us. Of course, assuming that the three of us are to begin with. This is nerve-wracking. I agree with all of your analysis that if you're Scum, you're playing yourself well. The threads, however, are 2-4 pages in this game. I've seen you keep up with a 13-page argument between me and CMP in the past. I know life gets in the way, but still...
