But where? When? I haven't seen you look at Riker's actions very much at all. You definitely aren't today. It's like you're Scum and just need Riker to keep his vote on me, so you're just repeatedly digging into what I've said today and not really bothering to look into him at all. And you can pick apart, line by line, what I've said today but it doesn't seem like you're looking outside of my words today much, at all. You're quoting me today, but are you looking back at the rest of the game? Or are you just trying to cruise through this final 10 hours with me likely to be lynched and hoping you can do just enough to keep things where they're at?
-
@Pandora Once again, the facts-that we can all see-are against you: Emphasis added. Weird that you say I'm making up things that actually did happen. How nefarious of me! Telling the truth about things that actually happened! Picard-that's one definite Town and two likely townies. Pretty comfortable place for you to sit when the rest of us were all confused. Only Scum can confidently put people in the Town column like that, and it's not like you to place anyone in the "definite" town column when you're actually Scum-hunting. Now, I'll go back and read the rest of your post, because I responded immediately to this paragraph without reading the rest, which is a thing I do. That's how I read the threads. Gotta say, if you are Town, which I highly doubt, your Scumdar is way off, because not only am I Town, I've been actively working in the Town's best interest the entire time. Not sure why you wouldn't be able to see that, unless it was convenient for you to feign it and try to get me lynched on the last Day, in order for you to win. Funny that definite was the exact word you used.

Is this another misrepresentation of what we can all see are the real facts? I've put the discussion here from the day, but if you click back you can see that Picard's posts weren't conclusive of anything and none of the suspects on his list were Wesley. It did not seem he was going for it and I was very worried about getting it wrong, as I stated. The entire "Wesley is too smart to defend Beverly" was repeatedly winning me over, and Data was Scummy. There was an hour left in the Day and we needed to do something. Looks more like I was asking him. That's a doozy of a sentence but it seems like he was not interested in lynching Wesley. I'll admit I've said I wanted to lynch Wesley every day, but I obviously was convinced on other people. When you're in a situation where the person you want lynched is getting the votes and there are other suspicious people and you don't lynch someone the Scum get to choose who to kill, you have to achieve a lynch, at least that was my philosophy the past three Days. I was continuously thwarted by myself, as well, for not thinking Wesley would take that risk of defending Beverly on Day One, but I think she did and has been expertly convincing us otherwise, ever since. And in the middle of this town-flail of lynching or allowing a night kill, all Wesley has to say about it is that Forg is Scummy. He's accusing him of lining me up for later, but isn't that what he ended up doing to Forg? *isn't getting the votes...
-
Odd that you would misrepresent this, when it's all there, in the open, for any of us to see the actual order of events. It always seemed odd to me that Wesley responded to this with "You realize she's gone, right?" Not sure why, but my point was the votes were being spread out and we weren't getting to a lynch, which is something Beverly loved doing in a previous game. That was my point. Not sure why things pings me, again, but I thought I'd point that out too. Seems like I had three mentions of my thoughts on Data being Scummy. They were in paragraphs with other suspicions, but Data's behavior was bugging me the most on that day, as I mentioned, since his game play seemed so off. And then, Wesley switched from Picard to Data. And could I have convinced Picard to vote for Wesley? I'm not so sure I would've been able to. Picard wasn't easy to read either, since he'd just had a personality-ectomy. I'll check that next, my interactions with Picard and if I can get back into my head of how I was reading him at the time. Again, I think my strongest desire was to be night-killed, because the game was already driving me nuts, but that Day was particularly crazy and the ending was just
-
Well, if you are indeed Town then I am either dumb or misguided, because I am not Scum. Several times throughout this game, Wesley has put people in definite or likely Town columns, while laser-focusing on one person, typically ones that voted for him. This is not the way to play a game where our only tool is our vote. It's also unlike Wesley, to easily trust a person or put them in any Town column without being totally sure. And going back to fully explain what was happening on Day Three, which was an insane Mafia day for me, I'm not attempting to obfuscate anything with that. I'm trying to explain my own neurosis that, when I go back over that Day, makes me cringe. This is not the point I was making, you went after them, directly after they voted for you. All of your cases have been elaborate OMGUS votes. A world where Bob has told us what the setup is, and that's the one thing (besides our own alignment) we can actually be sure of. Why would you go back and read Def's non-Mafia game when this game is hosted by Bob and it's the exact same setup as his last Star Trek game? Your entire idea that there were no Scum or we didn't know until we were lynched or whatever you were hypothesizing pinged me, as it's not like you and it's weird to reach so far in a game that we've been told how the setup works. It seems like you were trying really hard to seem like a Townie and what would a frustrated Townie do? Make up crazy theories. But, again, we just have no reason to believe there's anything at play here but what Bob has precisely told us is going on. You can see that I didn't even know her character name when I voted. If I had scrolled through and read the whole thing before voting, I could've seen the character name in Forg's post, but I didn't. I voted immediately after reading the post, then went back and read the rest. That's what I did. Apparently, you think that's ridiculous. I think you're bogging us down in one of the most trivial arguments ever, and why would it even make me Scummy if I didn't post the way I'm saying I did? Is there something Scummy about reading the thread, in order, and then voting when I did? Oh, right, right. Because I voted second. Well, I've told you I had no idea how many people had voted for her at the point I voted and that's the truth. What I find Scummy is that you keep insisting that I must have read the thread in order, because that's what everybody does. I often respond immediately to things I've read and then go back and read what's in-between. You can see evidence of it in my responses throughout this game. Or, since all of our posts merge now, what may look like I've gone through and read first, isn't. Why is this even a point to keep arguing over? I've explained how I read and respond to threads. I'm not lying about that. Or anything, for that matter. Because extending the day is a pro-Town move. We need the time to look at each other's behaviors and interactions and dissect their words, that's all we have. The more time we have for it, the better for us. You've taken half of my statement and argued it as the whole. Of course there would be no evil at night in a game without Actions, but my point is the end of the Day would still be a relief because you don't have to be "on" anymore and you get a break after avoiding being lynched. I have wanted the Days to last as long as possible and often felt up against the clock as Days Three, Four and Five were all drawing to conclusion without a lynch. Again, you've taken half of my statement as the whole. I said I found myself in that position every Day after that. What I'm referring to is that I had the opportunity to un-lynch the person being lynched which would've allowed the Scum a night kill. And yes, I was in that position on Day Three, Day Four and Day Five. I don't know how anybody wouldn't be able to see that. Maybe you're desperately trying to take away one of my best points to convince Riker that I'm Town, with no argument. Because, it's right there for everybody to see, I found myself in that position repeatedly. Of course it can be said for both of us. But I'm telling you what did happen and what was going on in my head at the time, and once again, I'm not lying, or dumb, or ridiculous, or misguided. Unless, of course, Riker is Scum, then I'm horribly misguided. Whichever one of you is Scum, we have plenty of time left in the day and if I'm being lynched, you already won, and I'm really impatient and I want to congratulate you now, and talk about your awesome game, so just raise your hand and admit it. Great job, take your accolades. Come on, tell us. You know you're dying to... Never. I would never give up. I was in the burbs all day for my niece's horse competition. Went straight to this when I got home. I'm not, at all, a phone poster. I hovered over the thread all day yesterday waiting for Wesley. I'm here. I'm not giving up. What side were you afraid I was giving up from?
-
Are you leaving your vote on me? If you are, and you're Town, you're going to lose. I know that's easy for anybody to say, but in this case, it's true. I've got 29 hours left to fight for the Town and I'll use it I need to. Perhaps you want to finish up quickly, because you're Scum and you want the win, now. If that's the case, amazing job, and I can't see how either Wesley or I would get it together to see it. But, you did a great job and keeping us around to focus on each other, while coasting to a win. In that case, you already know you're not getting your one billion dollars. In that case, it might be cruel of you to switch your vote to Wesley and keep us spinning our wheels. This is something it doesn't seem Wesley has even considered, which again strikes me as odd. She's got you solidly in the Town column. Why isn't she considering it could be you? I think it's because she's Scum and she's got your vote already and she just wants this over with. I'm not a big fan of losing, or being lynched as Town, so I'm definitely not giving up, so I'll go through her rebuttal and point out where she isn't even quoting me correctly. Hang tight, I'm sure this means another wall of text post is coming from me.

Makes sense to me. I've resigned myself to the ending, either way. At least it will be over. (M is doing better. They never gave us conclusive answers. They think it was a small obstruction that will go away on its own. They assigned him six different doctors over the weekend, none of which knew they had been assigned to him. He never does this, but he got so frustrated waiting to be discharged, he played the attorney card. Not "I'll sue you!" but casually dropped his occupation into a conversation with his nurse. He's still having some problems. He sees a specialist on Tuesday.)

Now, shall I metagame the shit out of all of us. Let's talk about my Scum game and double-posting. In my recollection, I'm much quieter as Scum and I wouldn't put my words out there to by dissected with a bunch of double-posts. When I'm playing Scum, if there's not a response for several hours, I'm relieved. I let the Day thread sit there as long as I can without having to take any risks. I also wouldn't dare suspect everyone. It's too risky when you might be killed and your words dissected later, which may accidentally point to a Scum buddy and a potentially obvious bus. Well, scratch that last part. If you believe it's me, then suspecting everyone would be safe since Beverly is already dead. However, the rest stands. Lengthy posts from me when I'm Scum may include feigned confusion but are a lot fewer and further between that the mental vomit that came out in this game. Most of my long posts, when I'm Scum, are defenses. And I typically dig back into the other person accusing me. Just like Wesley is doing. Wesley's cases against Forg, Picard and me can be chalked up to elaborate and well-articulated OMGUS arguments. To further metagame myself, when I'm Scum I can't wait for the Day to end so I can just work evil in the night phase and not worry about getting lynched. I've voted to extend the day, every day of this game and believe I was first in doing so each time. If you think I'm Scum, you'll think that's WIFOM, but it's not. Because I'm not Scum. I'm Town. To be honest, I'm letting this game get to me, emotionally. I feel manipulated and mis-characterized. With that in mind, let's take a look at Day Three. Day. Three. Is. All. My. Fucking. Fault. Let's not metagame the host again. We're in the game, I'm not going to blame him for what happened. Let's blame Picard a bit, though. I understand that I can hurt people's feelings when I analyze their game. I think I'm clever and I want to phrase things a certain way, so I'm going to do my best to be careful and not hurt Picard's feelings. Fuck you, Picard. Sorry, just kidding. See? I can't help myself. Just vote for Wesley! Fuck. Can we go back to Day Three and just lynch Wesley. Hell, can we go back to yesterday and just lynch me? Where was I? I was taking the blame for Day Three and not hurting Picard's feelings, but failing at both...right. So, I'm always "Don't bring your personal life into the game," but I'm going to break that as well. On Day Three, I had taken my husband to the ER at 11:30pm with abdominal pain. They did a CT scan and he had an intestinal obstruction. Then they argued over if it was an obstruction or an infection and if they were going to do surgery or admit him. All the while I was sleeping on two plastic chairs with my coat as a pillow. At 5:30am they decided to admit him into a double room where his roommate groaned in his sleep and I had one plastic chair to sleep in. By 5:00 pm I hadn't eaten, had barely slept, I was hangry and tired and just downright stupid. What I really wanted was there to be a no-lynch and to be killed out of the game. Data voting for himself ruined that. I feel like I ruined the chance to lynch Wesley at that point by being an enormous stack of waffles. We couldn't have done much at that point since Picard had voted for Data. Now, let's take a look at how Wesley was taking advantage of this. Maybe it's ego but I had spent a good portion of the day suspecting Data, because Data was Scummy. I'm going to suggest that Wesley switched his vote to Data because of this. Not because I'm some big powerhouse, but because he thinks it's easier to manipulate me. Riker, you yourself said people follow my vote. So, if I'm Scum Wesley and I see Town Troinckley waffling over me and Data, I'm going to vote for Data because that's where the swing would go if it's at all possible. Where was Wesley's vote before this? On the only other person being voted for, Picard. As the day was drawing to a conclusion, and I was massively out of it, I was in the position of allowing a night kill or trying to get Data lynched instead and why wouldn't I? Data was Scummy, as you yourself admitted. Imagine the way my brain collapsed when Data voted for himself. Trying to figure out why he would do that and the best move when I had the opportunity to unvote and allow a night kill. What if he was Scum and was pulling a last-minute gambit? What if everyone turned on me for un-voting him and leaving him in the game and allowing a night kill? By the way, I found myself in that same position every Day for the rest of the game. Do I leave my vote on Wesley or do I hammer someone? What would you have done? Hammering people puts the spotlight on you. How is it Scummy? Scummy would be allowing a night kill...three nights of the game. This was in my control three times throughout this game. Why would I, as Scum, not take advantage of it? Especially when someone (albeit Wesley, who I strongly believe to be Scum, but in this scenario would be Town) said allowing a night kill wasn't a big deal? If I were Scum, I'd have allowed a night kill, killed Wesley, allowing myself to cruise to an easy victory by voting for Picard with you, finally getting you the lynch you'd wanted for multiple days. I can see Scum avoiding being responsible for allowing a night kill once as it would make them seem more Townie. Maybe even twice, but to pass up a night kill when it was in my control for three days? Not likely that I'm Scum, just based on that. Let's talk about my stalking. Wesley hovered over the thread on Day Four when Forg was being lynched to watch the end of the Day. Day Five was posted immediately after Day Four was closed. It must have taken him a good night's sleep to come up with his "Maybe none of us are Scum" reaction. Maybe it was really late in the UK and he didn't stick around to see if the next Day was posted. Maybe he didn't expect it would be. Maybe he didn't notice the computer had done an immediate conclusion and new Day on previous Days. But then, why wait for the end of the Day like that? Maybe the kids needed to be tucked in, maybe it was past him bed time, maybe this is a ridiculous thing to bring up. But it's information I have, so I'm sharing it. I do not need to be spending this time on this game, I am so far behind with my work. But, I have a passion for this game and I have a passion for winning this game and I want you, Riker, to have the clarity that Wesley's game has been diabolically Scummy, very well played, and he's about to win if you leave your vote on me. Oh, I left out the conclusion of Wesley waiting for the end of the Day on Day Four. If one of us came to our senses and uvoted Forg, and it was a tenuous grasp since Picard and I both said we didn't like the lynch. So why the fuck did we do it??? If the Day had ended without a lynch, Wesley would've needed to send his night kill in so the computer could turn the new Day around as quickly as possible. Obviously, I was also there, but not watching the Day thread, I was stalking Wesley.
-
I did hammer many of the lynches, to avoid the Scum getting a night kill. I can't lynch Wesley by myself. Would you have preferred I let the Scum get a night kill? I think your assessment of Wesley is way off and not giving him credit for the great job that he has done, as Scum, to put our attention on other people. Who was ever considering lynching Forg until he made the case against him. My game is what it was. Yes, voicing every thought and suspicion I had can be seen as trying to confuse everyone, but that wasn't my intention. My intention was to keep discussion going and analyze each player's actions, since that's all we had to go on, the stark difference between this game and games where we have night action results to go on and night kills to see every day. That was my most pro-Town ability, to analyze and share my thoughts and suspicions. Look at Wesley's game. He consistently went after the people who voted for him. Take yesterday alone. There was a point where you unvoted Picard and Picard was starting to suspect me. This was all based on his case against me. I think I answered everyone's questions to satisfaction and I think Wesley knew that and switched to Picard, who had also voted for him. The pivoting with certainty is the difference in our games. Why did I always vote for Wesley and change my vote later? Because he was convincing people not to vote for him and I didn't have the numbers to get him lynched. So, as I stated, I went along with the bandwagons to a. get an answer on the person who did have the most votes and b. avoid the night kill. If you think Wesley wasn't lynched yesterday because Picard and I ended up in the spotlight, I disagree. I think we ended up in the spotlight because Wesley put us there. That is exactly what happened with Forg, too. You're missing his very excellent Scum game and voting for me, who has only acted with the intentions of helping the Town. Because I am Town. And if I am not, I will give you $1000 as soon as the game is over. Hell, I'll give you one billion dollars if I'm Scum. When have you ever known Wesley to be all, "Aw shucks, folks. Maybe there are no Scum." That was an act. Again, I'm not 100% sure of anything. Maybe you just spent multiple hours with the previous Day threads open, knowing I'm a stalker and wanted to get the two of us at each other again. If so, great game, I'm a fan, I hope you win. But I'm leaning way closer to Wesley being Scum and I think her "double-checking my role PM" act was an over-the-top stunt. He knows how the game works, that was feigned confusion. He tried to get us all bogged down and confused over trivial arguments "it was the vote, not the switch" "most people read the thread in order." Grasping at straws, trying to get to the end. Not to say he hasn't done an amazing job at making it this far, but it's him. Not me. If you're Town, and want to win, vote for Wesley, because I'm Town. Vote: extend the day My mind is having a log jam. 48 hours may be enough for me to un-jam it, but I'm pretty sure it's Wesley and as the logs free up, I want as much time as I can get to fight. My competitive side is really firing up right now. I do not want to have spent this much time on a game, only to lose to the person I've wanted to lynch for four Days.
-
No apologies necessary. To be honest, for the past hour, I watched you read the other threads. I doubt you would spend four hours reading the threads if you were Scum. I also doubt you would vote for me, if you were Scum, and that's what I really wanted to see. I am relieved that you did because the easier way for you to win this, if you were Scum, would be to vote for Wesley since I've voted for Wesley every day of this game. So, that's a problem solved for me. Onto the next problem, if you're Town, which I believe you are, the way to lose this game is to vote for me, because I'm Town. I will take the time to answer the concerns you've laid out, since you invested so much time putting them together. In the mean time, for all of the reasons I've prolifically stated throughout the last four days of this game: Vote: Wesley Crusher (Pandora)

I'm here. I fell asleep. Still 35 minutes left. I'm not sure what we could do. I don't like that we, yet again, didn't lynch Wesley. Maybe I'm stuck in tunnel vision. If Wesley is Town, it's a tossup between the other two. Picard, your voting pattern has worried me. Waiting to vote until the end of the day, choosing Forg and immediately saying you don't like it. Voting for yourself multiple times. And yet, you could hammer yourself but you're not, so what happened to happily being able to vote for yourself? I was waiting to see if you would do that. I'm not sure what it would make me think if you did. Since you haven't, it looks-one again-like you're waiting to get the ability to kill and that you never actually intended to let a vote for yourself sit. That's a ping. That's what I've been waiting for, specifically. I am so unsure still. It is exceedingly odd that you find Wesley the Scummiest yet you beg us to look into Riker on Day Six or Seven. Obviously Six, there won't be a Seven, at least that. I mean, look at the URL or just to the top of the page. God, I talk SO. MUCH. Whoever the final Scum is, you're doing a great job. Hats off to all four of us. And everybody who played this game. This is so. freaking. hard. Unvote: Wesley Crusher (Pandora) Vote: Picard (Lind Whisperer) And now shall I barf. If Picard isn't Scum and I allowed a night kill, who would Riker or Wesley kill? Wesley would put me out of my misery? I hope to freaking God. She might kill Picard to get Riker to look more closely at me. Probably be easier to kill me and let Riker go after Picard again. Riker might kill me to frame Pandora, or vice-versa. Probably wouldn't kill Picard since Riker has gone after him every day and would easily choose him as a final lynch. Picard would probably kill Riker to keep Wesley and I after each other and avoid the person who has found him Scummy for three (or four?) days. It looks like there's a high percentage possibility I would die and be put out of my misery. Although, keeping the person around who allowed a night kill would be a great place to make everyone think I was the final Scum and wanted the final kill. Why am I going through this exercise? I don't know. The most likely way for us to see Picard's alignment is to lynch him because if he isn't Scum, nobody is likely to target him for a night kill, leaving us to wonder if it was him, still. If an hour from now, I'm sitting here with Wesley and Riker? ... Fuck. Part of Wesley's play today is that his anguish over what to do does feel like what I'm going through. Is his silver-tongue just masterfully mimicking me to make me feel this way? Or is he a Townie that is frustrated as I am. Did his case against me feel ridiculous? Yes. But it's hard for it not to feel that way when you know you're Town and it's the person you've voted for, for days and keeps slipping out of the lynch. I guess it's not entirely insane to suspect me. I guess I earned the reputation. Is this my Town game or am I that good at faking my Town game? I'm not. I suck at faking this. Over the top faking? That's a funny suggestion. Shows to me that I'm getting more neurotic the older I get. Why can't I ever be concise? If I can just get out of my own head for a bit and look at everything, it might be clearer. Anybody know how I can do that? 12 minutes...
-
Yes, and no. I think the point I made yesterday was that he was making just a few posts a day. It does worry me. I see your point as well that he's been on the level and seems to be working to figure this out and similarly exhausted with this. If you look through, I think today has been his most active day. At the same time, it's not like there isn't substance to the posts he made in days where he hasn't had much to add, I've seen him reading the old day threads. Today, I find him particularly active at posting and digging into the accusations. You know, it's a fucking crap shoot at this point. I'm stir-crazy and numb over it, all at the same time... We've got three hours here. Everybody seems to be online. Picard, if you think it's Riker, why is your vote still on Wesley? As much as I don't want a Wesley lynch that far out of reach, it's a good question. I can just imagine the dead board screaming at us to lynch Wesley already. Or maybe they want you all to lynch me. I can't think that way. Gotta play in here and stay in here and knock all the other shit out of my head. A little more than three hours left.
-
OK, thank you. It makes me feel better to not feel entirely crazy, just a little tunnel-y. I'm going to at least give Picard a chance to respond. I won't let the day end without a lynch. Aaaw...Trekkie's not special anymore. That's all you would get, if you took the bet or not. Which is all he's done for the past two days now. Ugh...this game...
-
They're generic and I have good health insurance! I have paid out of pocket before and even the generic are $$$. So, you really think the case against Wesley is bonkers? What he did (I know I technically did it... ) to Forg yesterday seemed like a Town move. You're not worried about any of this? I understand the implication that he put all his eggs in one basket on Day One and defended Beverly seems like something he wouldn't do but what if he trusted his ability to continuously talk us out of lynching him? What if he was counting on the argument we keep making that he's too smart to have done that? WIFOM to the extreme, but totally possible. I don't want this game to last another day. I want it to be over tonight. I can't see myself allowing the Scum to have a night kill because that would guarantee us a Day Six, but I'm leaving my vote on Wesley for now. To go all the way back to the beginning, and consider Picard, we have to believe Beverly used his first vote on his Scum buddy. Picard voted fourth (I think? I've read the threads so many times, I practically have them memorized) for Beverly. To metagame the host, would he replace Picard if we were already lynching the final Scum or would he replace Picard to replace the final Scum? I don't fucking know. I imagine Bob would replace Picard and remove the vote on Wesley, if Wesley were Scum, to give the final Scum a fighting chance. Un-voting for him is the step I'm paying attention to here. Why not let the player un-vote for themselves? 23 hours is a long time to give Scum-Wesley a fighting chance and extend the game and stop it from ending in just three days. Un-lynching Wesley gives him even more of a shot. Some may call it meddling. I might call it what I would do if I were him. But, wouldn't he also, of course, replace Picard if he were himself the final Scum? Should we even be metagaming the host this hard? Ugh, barf, fuck everything. No. They are separate bets. You only get $1000 if I am Scum. I'm not betting anything on your alignment. I just bought a business... A public event business...and there's a global pandemic a-brewing...can't afford to play with $1000. But I'm a sure bet on myself, so I'll handshake on that, no problem. If I'm Scum I'll seriously send you $1000 that I don't have. And now I have, literally, double-checked my role PM.
-
God damn, I can't see going another day without lynching Wesley. Damn it all. Apologies for sticking to this, if you're Town! And yes, it would be a new ice cube tray. I will forever treasure yours. You can have $1000 if I'm Scum, no problem. *Virtual handshake* I took an Imitrex. I will now hover over the thread for all of the remaining hours. Let's see what Picard has to say.
-
No, of course not. As with everything, I'm only sure that I'm Town. Good point. I mean let's bet an ice cube tray. That would be fun! I have plenty... One from you! Ugh, fuck. Me too. Why'd you have to do that? It was much easier to think you were Scum when you kept coming at me. It provided a rare moment of clarity. Ow, my brain. I don't want to be here again tomorrow. If it's not either one of us, who is it then? Picard's last post was the Towniest all game, because he actually voiced a ping and then voted with it, and I'm not even sure it's just because he was not voting for me that gave me that feeling. Riker, I'm a fan, if he's Scum I almost wouldn't mind seeming him take the win on this because he's played a great game. I was thinking as I was stalking Wesley that his behavior is different from Picard's in that I've seen Wesley reading other Day threads and Riker, too, but Picard typically sits in the Mafia, waiting for new posts. I suppose I look like that too, though. I seriously have a headache. I should go check my role PM...

To give you a fighting chance?

I think you're being purposely obtuse in order to muddy the waters here. You're grasping at straws. You had days to look into my behavior and are only doing it now because your back is against the wall. I was Town to you all along, until today. The certainty you're moving forward with is disconcerting. I know the deliberate bad logic was applied to the vote but when she switched, she didn't elaborate on why. You're focusing on an honest slip when my point is that she didn't explain her deliberate bad logic. What would be Scummy about me saying it was the switch and not the vote? I'm not being careful about how I'm expressing myself because I don't need to be, because I have nothing to hide. I'm extremely busy and I'm trying to answer these things as quickly as I can before you dupe these other two into voting for me. My explanation stands, regardless of misstating what she applied the bad logic to. Hammering this point is futile. Is every statement supposed to static and apply to every minute of the game? I did expect it and, lo and behold, it's happening. My comment was in regards to the process in which it happened. "Oh no, memes! Scum!!!" There's nothing about me saying I expected it. If I said "I expect her to immediately suspect me and not slowly pretend to come to suspecting me" then I could see you ing it. But the statement stands for itself. I expected it, you are. How you got there is what I was commenting on. Originally, you said this made everyone seem Townie, that they were looking at other cases and keeping an open mind, something you haven't been doing very well yourself. Look, I'm not going to bog Picard and Riker down by going point for point with all of this bullshit...anymore. Here's what it comes down to: @Darkdragon @Lind Whisperer What is the only tool we have in this game: our vote and that's true if you're Town or Scum. The Scum can't night-kill, so how do they get rid of the people they don't want in the game any more? Their vote. Wesley has avoided being lynched for four days now. How? By throwing us off of her trail by making a case that others are Scummier. He's been doing an amazing job at it, it's been working on me for sure. What was her case against Forg? His Towniness actually meant Scumminess? Now she's trying to bog us all down over the definition of waffle and other insignificant arguments. I'm not sure about any of you, but my strongest feeling is that Wesley is the final Scum. Her entire behavior swing today is convincing me more. Yes, I may typically expect crazy mechanics. I don't in this game, because the setup is open and we all have zero reason to question hidden mechanics. ZERO. Wesley is not the type to expect crazy mechanics, he's typically the one to tell me to calm the fuck down over my crazy mechanic paranoia. I do not believe the feigned "Golly! Maybe none of us are Scum. Let me check my role PM again." Apologies if you're not feigning it... But, it is not surprising she settled on me to try to get lynched today as Forg and both of you had mentioned me being suspicious before. He's smart, really smart, and he's playing a great game, if he's Scum, which I think he is. He is definitely the silver-tongue-iest in this game. So, yeah, vote for me if you think my meme-game is Scummy or that my drunk vote was too fast or that you don't believe what I said about what order I said the thread, or my definition of waffle or if I thought Beverly's deliberate bad logic was applied to the vote or the switch. Wow, when it piles up like that it's so clear that I'm Scummy! I've answered all of your questions. My thoughts have been wild and all over the place but no inconsistencies. I'm Town. Lynch me, Day Six. Guaranteed. $1000, Wesley. Seriously. You know whatever you agree to will go into my bank account, so I wouldn't take me up on it either if I were you. Is $1000 too much? Can you swing $100? $10? Any amount we agree to will be mine, so I'm not afraid. $1. $1,000,000? I'm not the Scum. * read the thread, not said the thread.

That post was from today. It's not like I called it a joke as I was voting for her. What pinged me so hard about it was claiming that she had used deliberate bad logic in her vote switch. I said as much when I voted. It was a bright red Scum beacon. Without reading sarcasm in it, it sounds like she was trying to cast away an accusation of bad logic by pretending it was deliberate but not saying what her tactic was. Why use deliberate bad logic unless you were setting a trap for the Scum? But there was no further explanation. It slapped me in the drunk face. I can see it now as a sarcastic comment, especially with the "Congratulations" tacked on. What I find funny is your suspicion turned on a dime towards me and now you're digging into it, the same way you did For yesterday on "Oh, look. He posted memes." I saw melodrama in yours and Picard's posts and posted the meme and then looked for more because I didn't want to keep using the same one. It was fun. It was delirious frustration. There's not even a reason to defend using memes, because what is Scummy about it? Vote for me for trying to inject some fun into this brain-hemorrhaging slog of a game, it's a total mind fuck! I do feel like a kid trying to explain the stain in the carpet. But, I have no reason not to explain my behavior and reasoning because I have nothing to hide. I'm not Scum. I will seriously bet you $1000 that I'm Town. Want to take me up on that? I'm totally serious. What bugs the shit out of me regarding Wesley is a. I've read his behavior incorrectly before. I don't think I'm wrong in this case, but I haven't thought I was wrong previously. Ragnarok III, anybody? but also b. the host interjected himself to correct him about the structure of the game (which has been clear from the beginning, no reason to question it or expect anything crazy like the first person voted out was Scum but didn't know it until they were lynched -that's not even Mafia) to Wesley. Why would the host do that? That seems like the host correcting a Townie and if it were Scum pulling a gambit, I imagine the host would have the decency to try and let it play out. I would imagine the host would let it play out either way, but that's not what happenend. Riker is in the perfect position to win as Scum because nobody suspects him and he's rational, smart and helpful. Picard is a sheep waffle. Uh-oh! I posted a picture! I must be Scum. One-thousand dollars. Take me up on it, I beg you. I want to win this game and get $1000, let's go. I did not waffle on the night kill. I'm saying Wesley did. She said Data was a saint for lynching himself but then says a night kill isn't that big of a deal. And a Day ago, I was fine with the night kill-because I wanted to be killed. Moving forward and not lynching Scum, we're too close to the end to think a night kill is a good idea. Day Three would've been fine ending in a night kill. I wasn't so keen on it yesterday. Also, I didn't unvote Data when I had the chance to, to allow a night kill, did I? No. So I've never been pro-night-kill. I considered it and offered it up for discussion, but I've had it in my power to allow it the last two days and never did. So no waffle there. Although, I'd like some french toast. No waffles. This is not a waffle either. I said that Worf would be the most likely to be night-killed on Day Three. On Day Four, Wesley was making a case against him, which started to shake my confidence in him and question him more. You can see the points where I questioned his actions. That put him in a position of being less in danger of a night kill, especially if it's you or Picard as the final Scum, because why kill Forg when people were starting to question his behavior? Not a waffle! Again, consistent and honest throughout. Because I'm not lying. Because I have no reason to. Because I'm Town.

I don't! Especially when I'm drunk, which I was. I haven't even read your whole post yet. I think you can see the evidence in my posts that I jump on my reactions and then go back and read more. You're really going to try to make an accusation out of this. I. Voted. For. Beverly. Before. I. Saw. Forg. Had. Voted. For. Her. So. Your. Or. Ig. In. Al. Point. Is. Moot. Period.

That would insinuate that I relish the idea of fighting, which I don't. I'm not sure I can make it any clearer. Yes, there were a few hours between posts, but do you read the thread backwards? Because I read it in order. I read Beverly's post, hit quote, and voted. Then went back to Beverly's Scummy post, which you're still defending as a joke, and continued reading from there and only when I got to Forg's post realized he had also voted for Beverly.

These four posts took place at the end of Day Three. This isn't the only time Picard offers up an admittedly bad idea. I know I ping-ponged a lot as all of that happened, as well. But, Picard makes the suggestion, calls it a bad one and the lets it ride. Then is still around waiting to see the end of the day to offer a book report on what happened. Thinks Riker will provide the most answers, doesn't vote Riker. Odd that two other players just keep making the same points you've made and you don't mention it until you're pressed. Set the lynch in the direction of Worf, claimed not to be a fan, then gave us ten minutes to do anything about it. In that time I mentioned I would rather go for Wesley instead and Picard did not change his vote. All in all, none of this screams Scum but it's an odd game. The biggest takeaway for me is that Picard has never voiced a conviction and then followed through with a vote. One might say he's sheeping onto other's suspicions and riding it out. Like I said, I can see all of you as Scum so I'm pretty much blind at this point, but going over all of both Picard's posts, it does seem he's waffling, but not as Wesley is saying that I am. I have done my best to follow my convictions with the glaring exception of waiting to see what Picard would do and then following the Forg vote. That was also sparked by Riker's suggestion that everyone just votes the way I do. But suggesting I'm waffling is not unfounded, but the waffles come from searching and trying to win this. I've waffled off of the person voting for me twice and now that makes me Scummy, OK. But the Picard waffling is generalized and without conviction and none of his votes have been decisive, he's even pre-apologized for yesterday's. Sorry, there's a lot going on today. I either thought it before I read you said it or forgot you had said it, not sure which. Either way, I independently came to that conclusion when it happened and expressed it in meme form instead of wording it the way I did above. It is not parroting, the idea originated in my own head from my own experience just as my vote did for Beverly. Apologies to anyone who thinks I'm shouting, fighting or being sanctimonious. I am playing and posting in my style and mean no offense by it. None of these verbs or adjectives that have been attributed to my behavior are in my heart or intentions. Dear Lord, I even read this and then said the same thing in a roundabout way. I even read it again when Wesley accused me of doing the same thing. I must have some sort of mental disorder where I can only fully understand what someone is hypothesizing when I reach the conclusion on my own. I'm pre-apologizing for coming to the same conclusion you concisely expressed through yet another wall of text. I need a rest from this...

No. For not assessing her, at all. I do know the exact setup because the host told us what it was at the beginning of the game. It's an open setup just like the last one. There are no tricks. Suggesting there's some hidden mechanic is hidden when the host has blatantly told us there won't be. Two Scum, no Night Actions. Go. That's it. That's the one thing we can actually be sure of. Like a wrench? Are you calling me a tool? Well, this is insulting. No. I'm Town. I'm only itching to get this game over with because it's frustrating the hell out of me. We all have different playing styles and all act differently when frustrated, so if I went to memes, I went to memes. And there was a lot of melodrama today with your "What if we're all in Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits and the evil has been in the toaster oven this whole time?" And then Picard with his "I was too upset to post" which I did think was referring to his reaction to Forg's lynch, not to make light now of what he's said is personal matters. Except I immediately voted for Beverly after the Scummy post that was just a joke and only saw Forg's vote once I went back and read. And what shoe would drop that I, or the real Scum, would be waiting for? There are no PMs in this game. Where would this other shoe be a-brewing? You want the Scum to have a night kill? I hammered Forg to keep that power away from them. And I thought Forg was a bad lynch, because he was a bad lynch. I'll admit it wasn't my strongest Town day but I was wondering why Picard was around so much and not voting. So, I called him out on that and he gave us a vote. I told him I'd rather vote you out, and by then, it was so late in the day that I found myself needing to look into everyone quickly as that was also the only time I had for the game as I've been incredibly busty busy. There were a couple of things that pinged me about Forg yesterday and I thought there might be something to your suspicions, but as the seconds ticked towards the end of the day, I really started feeling uneasy about it. I regret not voting for you yesterday. I was going to wait around today until I got a bug in my craw about how that strategy failed spectacularly yesterday. If you think it's no big deal for the Scum to have a kill then why bestow a sainthood on Data? Who, by the way is the meme-iest when he's Town. So, you're now suggesting I hammered Forg to get rid of a strong Townie, the one you were sure was the remaining Scum yesterday, and diabolically set up a case against Riker and then followed that up by insisting I leave my vote on you today? I honestly still have no idea who the Scum is. Wesley, @Pandora your behavior has been erratic for you this entire game. I've explained over and over why I think you're today's best lynch candidate. I'm beginning to see Picard I's point about your split personality. Day Two was "Oh geez, I really stuck my foot in it there. I understand if I get lynched," to a more fierce fight since then, defending yourself, to being sure that Forg was the last Scum, from a relatively Deanna seems Town, geez, what if the game has no Scum? let's vote for the host to let's lynch Diabolihinck. You crazy. Riker, @Darkdragon has tunnel vision on Picard and has been flying under the radar. Way under the radar. Nobody's even looking at him. It's a great place for Scum to hide in this setup. A consistent case on Picard gives him plenty of reason to keep Wesley or I or both in the game so we keep going after each other, and that would be the most diabolical move of the game, or of many games if that's what he's doing and he pulls it off. Picard, @Lind Whisperer has waited to vote late every day, had the odd moment of saluting Data if he was Town and promising to be the first vote on Welsey and then not–fuck the letter of the promise, you broke it. Is pulling this weird "I'm also a saint" thing today. It's like the best Town ever has been waiting from his first post to self-sacrifice. That was literally in his first post as himself, Picard II. Doesn't anybody see that as a potential gambit here? The last one who voted himself out was Town, maybe they'll think I'm Town and unvote me. Ludicrously Scummy is the new Town. Well, we tried that one out on the Forg yesterday and his Towniness of delivering a case against the first Scum turned him up Town. Do you need another test of the theory, fine, go ahead and lynch me. I'm fine with that, but just know there will be a Day Six. I apologize for having no final words (I realize there's only one vote on me, anyway) to impart with who I think should be tomorrow's lynch candidate if you all decided to follow Cybill Wesley. Because, I just don't fucking know. It's been a long time since I've been lynched as Town without it being Kyle taking advantage of penalty votes. Could be fun. It will definitely be easier to watch the rest of the game from the writeboard. What I won't do is vote for myself though, because that sucks.

What is this bad guy monologuing at the end of a straight-to-streaming action movie speech? Is there a grenade in your hand and the pin is pulled but you're holding the trigger with your thumb? "I did it because you all said you loved the game! The game? The GAME???!! It was never a game to me." How's my meme game? What?! I'm sorry to hear that. Come play Mafia to relax and forget those things. Don't bring them in here with you. Unless you need help. In that case, we're here for you...while we lynch you? Or don't. But we all you! Never forget that. What the fuck is happening in this game? So...the revelation that Forg was Town was...expected?
