But the Scum wouldn't have metagamed killed him because he changed his game. So why are you thinking it was a metagame kill? You think he was killed because someone found him suspicious. That post also demonstrates that he really does believe, at the time, a majority is needed. He's a pizza delivery boy not a rocket scientist. Not that it takes a rocket scientist, My Male Lover. Do you know how many times this happens? A vote shouldn't be a poke. Are you to unvote as soon as he talks? Remember that last game, Harriet Slutter, where every Scum member received a vote, almost always with the caveat, "this is just to get them to talk" and then the Scum would talk, since that's all they were told they needed to do to get un-voted, and provide a sound statement and then slide back under the radar? So, shall we invite all the Scum to make sound, believable statements so we can not pay attention to them? A vote is a vote to kill that person, not to ask them to talk. If they won't respond in thread, send them a PM. If they don't respond or are dodgy by PM, bring it out in thread and then vote. But proposing a lynch or voting for someone just to get them to talk is starting to become a free pass.

I think he was saying, originally, that even if The Serial Killer turned up Town, you would look good for having defended him. So, you were either defending a Scum buddy or defending someone you, as Scum, knew to be a Townie, to make you look better later. It's a fair point that we should watch for people defending other people on Day One, but I don't think it's enough to place a vote on. Better to watch you and remember that in case anything else comes up.

I never originally intended it to be for me to be the only one tallying votes but when everyone got confused I can see the need to at least show how to do it before anyone else tries it. You want me to defend someone with two votes when I don't know if he's Scum or Town? Why would this be only me responsibility? How am I supposed to see that he needs saving if there's only two votes? I can't read that vote tally on my phone. I'd like to reiterate that a person claiming to be the vig has contacted me. If this person is lying to me, it'd be helpful for the real vig to find someone to trust to claim to. Thanks.
