You can build a recognazable Minas Tirith in micro size..... thats recognizable... anything in LEGO size and not costing 500$ will be utter crap. Display wise...

Ofc its dreaming :P The ideal would be to get packs of 4 identical figs with no extra bricks all armed with shields + spear/sword/whatever and extra quiver + bow/x-bow to decide if you want archers or 1st line combatants..... and they would cost 8$ which would be 2$ per fig.... but we all know its never gonna happen just like the one above :D As it looks I will be happy if we even get a new mold for Iron Hills dwarf warrior let alone if we get more than 1 in the next wave lol

I see why its called a dream wave. Mine would be 1000$ Minas Tirith with 50 Gondor soldiers 100 Orcs 2 nazguls on Fell beasts Denethor, Faramir Pippin and Gandalf the White with 4 Tower guards and 100.000 pieces :P Just as reasonable as the dream above :D

Yes everyone has new molds/printings, but not nearly as many.... sure the Horse is a new mold but that will be used for another XY years so it will be heavily reused..... I suspect even Troll will re-emerge.... however Fell beast is 1 of a kind really..... just like Mouth of Saurons Helm I agree but that was alot smaller piece. Sure it can happen however I doubt it....

I think getting a mold like that for LOTR is an illusion really.... I hope Im wrong but I fear I am spot on. Eowyns torso is unimportant I cant even remember what it was? A normal chain mail? I bet if we get Eowyn in that scene she will have hair and no helm.... Now think about it for a minute.... you want 1 - 3 new molds (helmet + beast + potentially Eowyns helmet) 3 new prints (torso + legs excluding hobbit legs) another barding print (1 of a kind) all in 1 set? I think that is just being delusional excuse my wording... but sadly I ust dont see it happening.... Especially the molded fell beast.... So how do you justify adding Mouth of Sauron instead of Gondor Soldier which would be 2395230852358205 times better for multiple purchases.... I fear LEGO has no logical pattern behind Tolkien lines which is sad. The black gate is a prime example of failed LEGO ideas mixing together these 2 ideas are called Unique named heroes and ''please purchase multiple.... However thats offtopic.

A US fellow shipped 5 of them to me for 6.50$ ...... happy for that!

yeah it makes for a great ''play value'' but very poor display value.... When i display my sets I want the focused on 1 event like the attack on helm's Deep or arrival of Eomer at helm's Deep..... not depicting 2 scenes in the same time... And yes you could say that I can just remove figs depicting another scene but that means Ill have to BL or ebay even MORE figs to make it even remotely populated.

You can modify the ent to look like treebeard if you want treebeard.... treebeard is a waste of set... you have an ent.... play with bricks now :P

I dont see how this is not built in real life? Theoden we have.... Eowyn helm can very well be the same as Eomer... sure the color is not the same but dont expect a new Eowyn helmet mold for this id say... sooner we get her when she throws off the helm with hair... so technically Witch kings helmet is the only mold there should be added for you to recreate Witch King scene if you truly wanted it.... And thats doable... found some fakes that look the same on ebay a few months ago... not for a purist but hey :P

You can also make your brick built fell beast...... and you can get fake Witch king helmet and put it on one of the Nazguls from Weathertop really..

If they make a Balrog in a set like on that picture above I'd defo buy 2 (1 to open and 1 to keep Minty forever :D) The problem is they need to make a breaking bridge or all is in vain... and that might take quite a few bricks to do it... would probably make 180-250 parts for Balrog and around 150-200 for the Bridge which makes it up to 450 parts roughly.and thats already in the 50-60$ area. It would be funny to see results if people could vote on Balrog vs Witch King scene and only 1 could be made.... What would you choose :D I know I would Balrog in such case.... But I doubt Balrog would win especially if Eowyn comes in a set lol

Well must say it looks like Wizard Battle has a ''ton'' of action though compared to all others.... Its by far the best small set out there, even compared to other themes.... You are right... but then again how much was Mouth of Sauron in the movies?(only extended) And we got it... and yes it was next to others but still... it was, more or less, the center attraction of the set as the ''main'' villain to fight... The thing is If Galadriel does not come out in a small set (like proposed) I really dont see how making a 30 or 40$ Lothlorien would be ANY better (if we look from Kids perspective) the ONLY action in Lothlorien is from the mirror if we call it action at all... I just hope we get something.

Yeah cos Gandalf Arrives had so many action.... I mean those fireworks from the ''megablocks'' of his wagon were so amazing and that makes mirror scene so dull lol Sorry had to do it :D I just know if LOTR line ends on wave 2 (which is looking like now) I am getting 1 Pirate Ship Ambush to keep it mint for my collection and tons more uruk-hais to make a larger assault on helm's Deep! I would say yes... unless they are hiding and want to make us surprised with amazing last wave of great 5 + 1(exclusive) set and 2 good polybags :P Imagine we would get a Tower Guard polybag <3 and a new torso/face print for Orc polybag.... The joy :D

Dont you love the Goblin King talking and getting chopped down... how juvenile he was.... Ill go see it anyway because we already bought tickets for Monday.... LOTR changes were ok, even if i did not like many of them (give me Glorfindel!) I could see them reasonable for most parts.... ok except the damn undead saving Minas Tirith.... that was too much and kinda screwed the third part for me.... We shall see on Monday...

The Sad part about the sets is that once all were revealed Lake-Town Chase looks the best and when it was first revealed I thought it will be the WORST! ..... How disappointing .... Not sure if i even want to see the movie lol all the mixed reviews and tons of unneeded material....

Yep... I know if this happens my LEGO purchases will reduce by around 80-90% .... I mainly collected LOTR and a few Hobbit figs The only things I have outside LOTR/Hobbit are some great figures (satele Shan, Malgus) around 30 Series figs and Medieval Market Village and Mill Village raid.... Oh and bought Stagecoach for 50% off today... could not pass it... but I mainly want it for horses and figs ill just put on display... Dont really care for bricks there :D

polybags are excluded because they are considered as promo material most likely.... so contract does not bind them so heavily on piece per fig ratios. Logical assumptions...

In other words, you owe tons of money to banks or whatever and yet you buy LEGO.... You should sell all your LEGO and pay back the debt first before you even buy 1 set let it be clearanced or not. Maybe, if you'd done that you had no credit card debt (like me) and could afford to pay whatever left for LEGO which is luxury and should be canceled at the sight of 1st debt! Some people, I will never understand lol.... If I am out of cash or owe cash I dont even buy regular amount of FOOD, so I can repay back as soon as possible, let alone think on a TOY ....

I just hope we get armored Dwarfs, armored elves and preferably armored lake town soldiers vs loads of orcs ....

Putting uruks in Hobbit events is just PLAIN WRONG... simple as that.... no true lover of LOTR would do it period.... As for the bolded... no no no.... you dont mix and match in LOTR universe it is too distinct....uruk hai is something totally different than Gundabad Orc... Actually uruk-hai is more distinct to Gundabad Orcs/Goblins than a ROHAN SOLDIER is to LAKE TOWN SOLDIER... cos these 2 soldiers are atleast both men

What 2 scenes... Sauron ''forging'' the Ring is not a scene (yes i know in filmmaking it is) a scene would be an assault on Mount Doom and for that Sauron is too few to recreate it.... This is not Death star with 30 figs to recreate 2+ scenes from movies....
