I'm actually pretty brutal with my stuff. :P My philosophy is that if you're way to careful, you're bound to mess up because you're tense and nervous about messing things up. -Omi

I never knew Lego molded all those pieces together. And like I said, other pieces crack when put together and pulled apart. Like bricks. It's how the person handles them tat warrants cracking. -Omi
-
Not when removed correctly. I've never had issues with cracking parts, and I customize. If you remove arms, legs, torsos, and hands incorrectly, you are guaranteed cracking. -Omi
-
Only if you remove them improperly, and that can happen anyways with any piece anyways. Of course, but if your gonna lecture me on how purists follow their own certain view based on Lego's view, and then give me a runaround and say they don't, it doesn't add up to your argument here. No it doesn't. It contains yellow and brown (sorry but that's how the color is classified according to BrickLink) Lego didn't start using flesh tone colors in Star Wars until the year after. In any case, I've got better things to do then get dragged into this mess. I prefer not limiting myself. -Omi
-
Then the member won't have a problem removing the hands then. Thanks for agreeing with me with that statement. -Omi
-
If the purist is going by Lego's view, then they would have to make Gamling flesh because it is for a licensed theme. They wouldn't mix the yellow skinned fig in with the licensed products either, because Lego's licensed figs are flesh. Just saying. -Omi
-
Well from I understand, hardcore purists wouldn't mix yellow and flesh, whether it be parts and/or figs. At least that's what I gather from being on this site for so long and in the community even longer. My point is you gotta break the boundaries if you ever want something. Because you can't always rely on Lego to do it for you. -Omi
-
Then you end up stuck with the yellow/flesh issue. :P -Omi
-
Then looks like he won't get to make his Gamling fig then. :P -Omi
-
What kind of logic is that? :P It wouldn't be purist with the legs and head either. :P -Omi

The color is used for the Frankenstein Monster and the Moria Orc as well. An the dinos. Honestly Lego is just making more use of it. -Omi

Iron Man exclusive minifig at shop@lego.com?
Omicron replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Licensed
Chrome Block City, as far as I know, doesn't chrome minifigs or minifig parts. The helmet he would do since he does helmets. -Omi -
A few do, as it was the helmet I first tested them on. They are kinda loose on it though. -Omi
-
Not that short. And then what would the Hobbits use for their dagger-size swords? :P -Omi
-
Why would you give them a gladius? Those are shortswords. -Omi
-
It is an old piece made by Arealight. BrickForge doesn't sell it, and Arealight doesn't make them anymore. -Omi

Yeah the site has been up and down due to the immense traffic. Should be fine now. Yes the Outland Ripper is inspired from Borderlands. We also have a few other video game inspired weapons as well. -Omi

Been awhile since we last saw some new products from the Forge, and the wait was certainly worth it. Earlier today Armothe updated the store quietly, although I couldn't keep my mouth shut. So where to begin.... We have all sorts of new tactical weapons and accessories for the everyday soldier, assassin, or riot policeman. These items include the Compound Bow with 3 different arrow attachments. It's perfect for that agent with perfect hawk vision, someone who hungers for games, or even that guy who collects green arrows. We've got brand new visors to go with the already released Tactical Helmet (do note that these visors were made specifically for the helmet. Some may or may not fit on other Lego helmets). Battering Ram, Walkie Talkie, Kukri, Tase Gun, the list goes on. For your ninjas, we have the deadly Ninjato, perfect for the man with snake eyes to wield. There is also the kunai and throwing star. For that Master in Chief, we got some new sci-fi space tech to knock out that alien scum. From Sub Orbital Machine Gun to the Intergalactic 8 Gauge (seriously Armothe, these names are tooooo long), blasting away aliens becomes the great pastime. Or you can get up close and personal with the Outland Ripper or the Shredder Gun. I can continue for hours about this new stuff, but I'm sure you want to go the store now and check them out for yourself. Here is the complete list of new items: Sub Orbital Machine Gun Intergalactic Machine Gun Shredder Gun Automag Outland Ripper Ninjato Kunai Throwing Star Kukri Battering Ram Walkie Talkie Compound Bow Arrows Flashlight Tase Gun Visors Lug Wrench Lead Pipe Raygun Spiked Grenade Flamespitter Laser Sword Hilts (two variants) Fighting Claw Canister Rifle Pump Action Shotgun Tactical Assault Rifle Tactical Sidearm Anti-Material Sniper Energy Meter Ice Skates Enjoy! -Omi

Harm does not have to be physical. His opinion harms me as a customizor, and my creations are threatened on here because he can just go and bash them. And besides, Itaria isn't American, and neither is this site. So the constitution holds no value here. Plus this is a privately owned site not owned by the government, which means even if we were all American here, the constitution would still have no value. Nice try. The Lego Company says that their focus with their product is not Modern Day Warfare. BrickArms, not being an affiliate of Lego nor under their property, is not part of the company and therefore the focus does not have to apply to them, nor does it affect Lego's focus because it is not a Lego product. Not to mention, anyone can do whatever and build whatever the hell they want with Lego. Deal with it. Doesn't matter. The topic asked for it. If he didn't want it, he shouldn't have made it. -Omi
-
Lego has also been known to use some BF items in prototypes as well, before making their versions. -Omi
-
No because it isn't Lego, therefore not part of the focus. By saying it goes against the focus means you are saying it is Lego. Actually you did ask for my opinion, and for everyone else's. First post, Seventh line down, first sentence. It seems you're just wanting people to agree with you and shoot down everyone else who is against your opinion, like me and badger. Yes and no. The person is harming my freedom and right given to me by the second amendment. While his rights are protected, mine are as well. And Itaria, I mean no disrespect. I just want to know the origin of all the disdain. It makes me curious. -Omi
-
Cuz he is based on a cartoon? -Omi

BrickArms doesn't go against TLC's focus because BrickArms isn't Lego. Sounds unjustified if you ask me. But your views harm my freedom. -Omi

Is Cuusoo too easily taken over by Rabid Fandoms?
Omicron replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I am aware. I was making a point that these sets are sold elsewhere besides Lego stores. -Omi
