  1. I have attended BrickFair since 2008 (and coordinated at it since 2009), however I will not be making it this year. Really bummed about it. But it is a great con to go to. -Omi
  2. Hey Brandon! Good to see more awesome customizors here. -Omi
  3. Sup girl. :P -Omi
  4. They did, but the shipping was moved to Minnesota. Look at your shipping label next time you receive an order from the site. It will say MN. I miss the days when it said Enfield, CT. :( -Omi
  5. What? Wal-Mart, like every other store that carries Lego, gets it from the same source. Sets you buy at Wal-Mart are literally the same sets at Target or TRU or even online. So if Wal-Mart did order them from "China" (despite the fact the plant in Mexico was in charge, at least for figures), then so did Target and TRU and everyone else. And the sets are manufactured and shipped from Minnesota anyways for the US. -Omi
  6. These came out pretty good, and the detail is spot on, especially with the corrected ones like Widow and Hawkeye and Cap. -Omi
  7. His hair isn't wavy and doesn't come down like the CM Soccer Player hair. So that is more inaccurate. Hobbits have that bushy, curly hair. -Omi
  8. Mark didn't disappear, he just moved on. He is my friend, so I kinda sorta know what went on. -Omi
  9. Ha, I made all those (except G-Man). :P If you need some help in terms of accessories, I can lead you on the right path. I consider myself the Lego Video Game aficionado. Yes it is. :) -Omi
  10. Printing is expensive, and his costs would have to be split with Ed since it's his work. -Omi
  11. Yeah Christo does make excellent figs, and I have them. But the difference with his (and everyone elss) work, is that he doesn't replicate what Lego already achieved, and makes his own style. Take his Green Lantern. This fig is more accurate to Ryan Reynolds than Lego's, and the hair is custom molded too. His other figs are also like that, and some he made before Lego made theirs (Like his old Kit Fisto and Aayla Secura). He does make them to order too. He even prints designs for others and gains permission to sell them (as with his Red Hood and Hulk). Also: You just got my attention with that. I make custom figs right out of Final Fantasy and Zelda. You have my support man. -Omi
  12. Harry Mason is the protagonist of the first Silent Hill game. Reference *Face (originally Indy face) modified by me *Torso modified by me *Lead pipe and flashlight from BrickForge Enjoy -Omi
  13. It doesn't quite work like that. :P When Lego looks for people to design, they look for people who actually -design-. -Omi
  14. Welcome to the 21st Century. Everyone in the Lego custom business do that. And even ebay. They can, but they don't. There really is no case for it. I always find it interesting how people are always like "making customs is illegal and copyright blah blah blah" but we been at this for over 10 years and no one has a problem with it, and most find it flattering. -Omi
  15. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=sw170 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=7665-1 -Omi
  16. I kept the head because it is the last fig here. If I removed the added body wear (armor, belt, and headband), he will still be Solid Snake with the headband printed. And Lego only makes that head with a blue headband. The next fig will not use that head however. :P They are made by Minifigcat, and they are rubber. Hard to get on hair because they are made to fit just heads. -Omi
  17. TT Games has been rather good with choosing the right themes and references with chapters for their games. I was highly impressed with the fact that the end battle with the Joker from the Batman game was pretty much out of the Tim Burton Batman movie, with it being set in the Cathedral and had the music from that scene too. So if they can do that right, LoTR will be fine. :) -Omi
  18. Not necessarily. Lego doesn't make the games, TT Games does. So while Lego could not acquire the rights to the music to be used, TT Games may have. -Omi
  19. Hobbit maybe? Or perhaps Lego could not acquire the music? -Omi
  20. It's just this in brown. -Omi
  21. Solid Snake as he appears in Metal Gear Solid. Reference *Armor from BrickForge *FAMAS from BrickWarriors *Headband, Legband, and Belt from Minifigcat -Omi
  22. Leonardo from the TMNT series *Headband from Minifigcat *Swords are Sluban *Belt is BrickForge -Omi
  23. NRG Zane and NRG Kai without hoods will make a great purist Ice Man and Human Torch respectively. -Omi
  24. Nope. Because hip removal cracks torsos. -Omi
  25. Are you using the same legs that come with the torso? Since you said you don't remove the legs either. :P -Omi
