A fantastic new contest begins!

The worst has happened, all the glaciers are melted, all the icecaps are gone. Sea levels have risen to record levels and just aren’t going down! Many places are now submerged in these widened oceans. How would your Police Station look deep in the depths? Would Cafe Corner be a popular stop for fishes? Can divers explore a submerged Castle? Build a set as it would appear at the bottom of the ocean. The aim is to produce an Underwater version of an existing set, with details which might occupy the sea floor. Tesni thought for a moment. "If we are protected, it would make sense to attack the scarecrow. Also if we prevail and destroy the scarecrow our attacks will hit the left over foes yes? If we do not hurt the scarecrow enough for a kill, he will maybe murder some crows. I shall have to reconsider my first action."

Tesni smiled at a well executed attack. "I will target Scary Crow C from the front row!"

Oh, I've never come across these sets before. Ligao seems to be a slightly dodgy brand so far. Their sets in my experience were of poor quality and uneven clutch. Also one or two sets they sell seem a little suspect. I will keep an eye open for those large sets.

K-nut, if you make a new one, post it here as your new avatar, if you are just taking a better photo, replace the one you posted. Bricksandparts, so long as you tell me which one you are entering for consideration, post as many as you like. Those are pretty cool avatars already!

I'm afraid that being seperated from my LEGO for two weeks means I am unable to make an avatar. That is why I am using my very first proper system set ever as an avatar. Aquasharks rule!!!

Sorry no. With the seven Action underwater factions (eight if you include the Alpha Team deep sea mission), not to mention the town based divers, CMF diver, many accessories for deep sea diving and the other themes with underwater possibilities I don't really think there is a need for custom decals. This is simply an underwater mode for your sigfig or a cool sea/underwater based figure, not a custom minifig contest.

I think we will stick with forum rules on this one. While animated avatars can look nice, it's best not to change too much for this theme month else we'll risk mass protest when we revert back Please post a picture of your underwater avatar here too. Then we can enjoy them in the future.

Looks like the generic brick that gets a million different names. Enlighten most commonly take exact replicas of Lego parts but varied brandings get applied. Best Lock have their own wheel parts that look different to Lego wheels. As does Mega, Oxford and Cobi. Hope that helps.

Ok, no more arguing. We are yet to see even a set design, let alone a box graphic. As I mentioned to much ire earlier, I did not like the violent turn of Dino Attack, this new Dino theme sounds a lot less conflict based. For now we will continue the friendly discussion and not argue about something pointless and at the moment not important. Thank you.

I was expecting it to be freaky and scary. Maybe it was the Malibu, but I didn't find anything scary. Also:

Books of artwork covering themes I enjoy, Dark Roasted Blend blog. Films, comics, cartoons, the world around me. I go to museums and look at the exhibits of things I like. These all swoosh around in my head and I build off these images as I MOC. For structures, go to places known for their architecture. If you are stuck, use google earth or maps to land down in some historic district. If you like challenges, PM me and I can send one
