Cysgodion was at her hip, it seemed inappropriate to flash spoils from her earlier failure, placing a hand on the blade's purple gemstone pommel and the other over her heart. "I swear that the name of the 108 Bandits will be spoken of as a lesson to all that the hand of the Jei Pi is a strong one. They will be taken down and trodden to dust and ashes." She nodded once. "They may have pushed me back once, but not a second time..."

Tesni took up an ale. "We'll beat the rest of those bandits Tarn. They'll take one look at our return and flee in terror."

Tesni wandered into the hall and saw the announce quest parties. Spotting two familar names and faces she headed over. "Hail! It looks like we will get a second stab at those bandits eh Tarn." Tesni grinned.

Utterly fed up with the antics of the others, Tesni left the hall for somewhere quieter.

A loong long time ago when we were learning the look and feel it would be left to us all learning, someone signing in and dropping that looks like something we the staff would keep our eye on for potential age infractions. There is being a roleplay newbie/heroica newbie and then there is that...

You know, I was being serious when I posted in the hall! Tesni appreciates some quiet after she's back from a quest and if newbies are going to make a ruckus she'll sort them out...

Despite her earlier warning, it seemed Tesni would need to take some action. The landlady was busy and a hall such as Heroica had no need for any sort of guard. With a sigh she approaced the rookie from behind and brought her balled fist down onto his head with a clunk. The action left him out cold on the floor. With a nod to onlookers and a job done hand clap she sat down and finished off her latest round. (Moderator Note: Any more of that, roleplay or not, and you'll be cooling your heels elsewhere.)

Tesni grew tired of the childish babbling and stood, a hand lightly caressing the pommel stone of Cysgodion. The amythest began to glow and the now familiar purple snaked around the berserker. "I have returned from a quest. I want a quiet drink." She glared around the room as the purple magic filled her eyes and traced the scar on her face. "Many of you have quested with me and you know precisely what I can do." She smirked, "Though others, I am sure my reputation has been shared." facing the newblood she grinned like a fox who has found a rather dull rabbit. "As for you rookie, the nicest name I can give you there, sit down and shut it else you may find your first KO before your first quest." Satisfied that she had made her point she sat back down and motioned for another beer.

"Good plan Haldor. Now..." She grabbed a pair of flaggons full of Boar's Tusk, "Get this down you, strong stuff, the best!" She took a great gulp and smiled.

Third: I managed to write Tesni as I wanted, a bit of backstory I may or may not have said was the fact she was being trained as the new priestess in her village and was thus taught her words and figures and had access to what written material there was. Then I know I mentioned her spending time reading in the library. As for D&D.... We were too impatient for that. Drinking and playing 1000 Blank Cards was much more our thing!

"If she's gone Haldor... Well, no one can blame you for moving along. Heroica members... well, we have the wanderlust yes? She is an elf and those folks live for plenty more seasons than us 'round ears, she measures time long. Who knows if she'll come back the same? Or return at all? I tell you, if a nice bed and a woman to warm it are what you need, go ahead and take the opportunity." She grinned slyly, Haldor was a cleric but certainly of one of the more fun gods from what she gathered. "I've got an arrangement myself, it works for us. Though the other'n, well... Long lived ain't the half of it. If either of us just walked of the face of the earth one day, well we'd maybe mourn a moment and then move on, recall the time spent with fondness and find a new partner." The berserker clapped him on the back. "I dwelt on the past for many long year Haldor, it's only now since I have begun to look to the future, or more, my place in history when those scribes come to mark us into tale and record that I have truly felt alive."

I have the US and Malaysia to visit, or at least get someone to stretch a small coin and grab a hat for me!

"Mayhaps, I have spent some time in the hall but I don't recall taking a quest with you." "I think it would be wise for you to take a proper sleep!" Tesni laughed. "The mage did change, then again he controls the dead since last I met him." she shrugged "Wren forces change on anyone, the strong willed improve themselves, the weaker compromise."

Ah hahahah Tooooo late. Y'all will have to make a second comment. Put it down to tiredness on Haldor's part or whatever. You missed your chance when I pointed out the name.

"Eh, he was in the thrall of that rod, I knew slightly what to expect of it, Namyrra put it to use when we battled bandits in that Tower the Jei Pi sent us too. He was quiet, that thing makes you battle your mind." She shrugged, Tesni only paid heed to the magics of her own weapons though knowing well the influence some could hold. "He was grateful for the service in battle I rendered. We were all a little of kilter due to the curse. Forced us into roles and all that." Tesni sipped her drink and spoke softly, "Though, Wren changed all she touched Haldor, no one was able to escape her, for better or worse."

"Remember Artramor? I have just met the man while we quested together. Removing a curse on some play." Tensi laughed briefly.

"Haldor, it has been quite a while." Tesni pointed to a free chair. "Take a seat! I'm sure you have been to some interesting places."
