  1. Well, not really. I'd just go to lego.com and find "customer support" or something like that. EDIT: Found it at: http://service.lego.com/
  2. All bugs so far has been reported to TLG. With one exception: The "Mac OS X Lion" -problem. In that case I recommend you make a report directly to TLG custom services.
  3. No, there shouldn't be. LDD Manager works fine with all versions of Access (at least as far as I know...otherwise I'm sure a lot of people would have complained). @Kierna: can you reinstall MS Office 2007 and see if that helps?
  4. No, not that I've heard of. If you have problems it is most likely some problem with Access 2007. Even so, I'm very interested to hear what kind of problems you have. Can you explain some more?
  5. Good info on the topic: http://techcrunch.com/2012/04/11/move-over-1024x768-the-most-popular-screen-resolution-on-the-web-is-now-1366x768/
  6. Hi there and welcome to EB. To get best possible help, share some more details about your problem: 1) What software are you using? 2) Exactly which parts are you trying to fit together? 3) What have you tried so far? 4) If possible, please share your file.
  7. I did some initial testings and didn't find any issue with the helmet, but let's see if anyone else can spot some error. Yes, the palette is not optimized for all screen resolutions. For these kind of errors, I always recommend a report o the LEGO Customer Services as well. Because then the report gets to the LDD Team also the official way meaning that not only "hardcore fans" have bumped into the problem.
  8. I had a look at this 1) The motor cannot be placed because it collides with a 1x4 dark bluish grey plate in front of it. Remove that and it will fit 2) The plate under will not fit because the motor is illegally placed. It connects both to the pins (next to the rotating axle) AND to the plate, and this is not a legal connection (because of the famouse small offset of the hole in allt technic bricks). One solution is to remove the pins, place the plate under the motor, place motor, and then place pins.
  9. I thought you'd react like that Here you can read about it. And how the feature to generate a palette works in LDD Manager, you can read about in the help file.
  10. Yes, it's new. It was confusing before when you accidently hid something and then instinctively pressed Ctrl-Z only to find nothing happened, and that you instead had "unplaced" a brick. At least now it's more intuitive in the sense that you get direct response on the screen. But it's still not optimal, since placing/deleting bricks is different to hiding/unhiding. Optimally there should be two different methods of "undo" for each of these.
  11. In the LDD 4.3.5 there is now a feature to make a custom brick palette. If you use LDD Manager you can import all the parts from BL for a certain set and create a such palette....with the right bricks in the right amount in the right color.
  12. Thanks for re-posting
  13. It has nothing to do with English. It has to do with using capital letters and proper punctuation. And that is universal. Also, this question has been discussed in the forum several times. Please search for Maya or similar and see what you find.
  14. I'm not sure to be honest. Does any of you Mac users know? PS: For this type of bugs, report it to the LEGO customer services as well....just to make sure the LDD Team get error reports also via the official channels.
  15. I think I might have to take that back (), since bbqqq solved it by moving the two motorcycle wheels close together.
  16. Excellent build A few questions about collision errors (as the tradition invites to ) - 10312, I'm not sure I get what you mean with doesn't sit correctly. - About 3795 and 55013, I looked at the instructions, but couldn't figure out what you meant. I tried to put the 2x8 plate in place, and it fit. But I don't know if that was the error. - about 6553 and 44728; Ouch, looks like a pretty bad illegal build. I just wish the TLG designer would use LDD and they would spot such mistakes
  17. It's allready in there (along with its sister 98549). Out of curiosity - how come you didn't find it? Did you search for it?
  18. First, I believe it's not 4095 that should be used, but the similar 63965, which for some years gradually has been replacing the 4095. But even the 63695 causes a collision. But the problem doesn't seem to be in the 4L technic axle, but in 6091, and that the 63695 won't stick up far enough in the anti-stud cavity of it. Still a bug, but in a different place.
  19. Welcome to the forum I'm moving this to the Technic forum, since it's more about the design then LDD. EDIT: Can you please resize your images since they are a bit on the large side. Max 800 pixels in width please. Thanks.
  20. Railbricks Magazine #12 is out Good news for all train aficionados. The excellent Railbricks magazine is here with a fresh new edition. Download here
  21. The question came up because, since there is only one DesignID for both smooth/teethed, we can't have both versions in LDD (well, at least not that I understand), which means we have to chose either the smoothed or the teethed. Personally I'm leaning towards the smooth.
  22. Who, me? But yeah, you're right. My guess was that it wouldn't be in. But I was wrong
  23. I was wondering about this brick in LDD http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6542 In BL, there is also this variant without all the fine teeth (clutch function): http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6542b Apperantly both bricks share the same designID. Even the new, smooth one has 6542 as ID (if you look at the brick itself). So this seems to be a case of TLG themselves re-using the same DesignID even though the bricks are physically different. My question: is there are reason to have the teethed version if LDD instead of the smooth one (if we could wish either of them). Do the fine teeth interlock with any other part in LDD. How was the fine teeth it used in real life?
  24. How do you mean? They are in Extended Mode, aren't they?
  25. Good idea My spontenous solution would be to just do a "search and replace" for materials="21"> and replace it with something like materials="2121"> (i.e. a non-existing color) and hope that LDD would remove it. But that didn't work - the bricks are still in the scene, only that they become invisble. (which I knew, now that I think about it )
