MOCs are generally not to be posted in the LDD forum even if they have LXF attached. It's always been like this. Exceptions are made if the MOC/LXF is of extraordinary character or includes some unusual (LDD) techniques. You can read about it in the LDD forum rules here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=69717

hoping for a ldd update today

Cy, you already asked this a few days ago. A new brickset will come when it comes. -
What happens if you try color "999" - does LDD still crash with these settings?

LEGO Shell Promotional launch of exclusive polybags in Singapore

Yeah, at least one...if you read a few posts up (lightningtiger seems to have spotted something at least). -
LEGO Shell Promotional launch of exclusive polybags in Singapore
Superkalle replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, it will fuel up the discussion. Aside from that incredible bad pun, I think we should keep the focus in this topic on the sets and the news. For Greenpeace related discussions, I'd like to re-direct us all to this topic in the Embassy -
Practise Posting Here!
Superkalle replied to Pandora's topic in New Member Section - PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING!
Hi Brett. The problem you are experiencing is mostly likely because Brickshelf.com, where most of the LDD files are stored, is temporary down for maintenance. I have no idea when it will be up again. And like Pandora said, you are more then welcome over to our LDD forum for any future questions. -
That's strange. I'm on 4.3.8, and I assume you guys are too. Do you have Advanced Shading or anything like that turned on. I have it off. Anyway, there should be another color that is "invisible" . Let me check it up. EDIT: OK, I tried 132 (possibley LEGO Black Glitter, and that also worked (i.e. does not render in LDD). Does it work for you?

No problem to get rid of the lever part - just edit it's color to 999 instead. And after, the base will behave just like a "lose" brick that you can move around. And it will show up in the instructions too. However, the lever will still have its collision volumes, so you can't place anything where they are.

You can "separate" parts by making them invisible too. Try setting the materials="999" in the LXFML. Don't know what happens if you render in LDD2PovRay though

I'm dissapointed. Just a few days ago you both agreed to take it a bit more easy. 1, 2. And now this. @ TotalyNewLegofan. Why did you have to make a pretty much excact copy of AGF's post? Unimaginative, and uncessary teasing AGF. @ AGoodFellow. I thought we agreed that you steer clear of TNLF. Why did you have to enter thist topic at all? CopMike is on vacation, so until he returns, I'm closing this topic, as well as AGoodFellows. Either of them doesn't really add anything more at this moment. All arguments have been put on the table. Please refrain from starting any new topics about this for now.

LDD glass alignment help
Superkalle replied to SNIPE's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I'll take this as a bug report as well, so that at least the collision volumes in the grill element can get more accurate for the future. PS: Nice technique -
Good news. A few months ago we turned off the function to attach files to posts. It was rarely used and the limit was a low 100kb, so it didn't amount to much for sharing pics etc. But for sharing LXF and LDR files, 100kb is plenty - specially if you only want to quickly ask for some help and share a file or two. Shadows has done a great job on the forum back-end, and now we can attach LXF, LDR and ZIP-files again. (but only those three file formats...)

@TotallyNewLEGOFan - I understand you came into the topic to give your point of view, which is totally OK. But you did start off in an bit of an annoyed state about GF:s alleged hijackings. You could have skipped that in your first post, and kept more strict to the question at hand. Also, if you have a strong argument or wish for TLG to continue making SDCC exclusives, and those doesn't bite on GF, you are free to start your own Open Letter topic to TLG. @agoodfellow - You are also helping to escalate the issue. There is no point in arguing on, so please stop. And TNLF does have a point that you did post in other topics that were about SDCC, true, but they had slightly different perspectives then exactly the be or not be of the exclusives. That they had SDCC in the title does not mean they are about the same issue. You should have refrained yourself from posting in those other topics and kept strictly here. Hope you both feel that my attempt to summarize this is at least partly fair so we can end this.

Hidden Mountain Base MOC
Superkalle replied to alienwar9's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Hello CloudCuddler. And welcome to Eurobricks. May I bring a few things to your attention. First, the topic you posted in is almost three years old. It's OK to post in such old topics for the thing you asked, but note that the original poster (Alienwar) hasn't been active here for a year, so you may not get a reply. Secondly, when you post, please start sentences with capital letters. It's a standard thing we ask of all our members. Thanks -
