This is magnificent! You've done an amazing job of recreating the scene. The bunker looks spot on, the AT-ST is fantastic, and you have laid out the figures exactly like the movie. You've done a great job with the trees and greenery too. Fantastic MOC!

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Rogue Angel replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would assume that would depend on whether we have an English-English translation, or an American English translation... -
Very nice build MikeyB! I love the birds, they really add to the scene. And of course, the nice winding dock down to the base of the cliff, and all the activity up above. The story is well done as well. I like the two boats linked together, but might I suggest a 4x4 plate over the gap between the two boats(in addition to the brown tiles you've used) to make the boat seem more like one single hull? This immediately conjures up the thought of a cliffside village. Great build!

Drow Attack on Hopsendootle Brewery
Rogue Angel replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice micro-build! Those flames are the perfect size to be roaring out of the brewery windows. That dragon has got to be enormous. And a brewery? I knew the Drow were monsters but this is just obscene! -
Nice build here! I really like the round roof details, and the lower roofs, especially the snot plate roof - this is a great idea! I also like a lot of the Kaliphlin techniques you've used. Very nice job!

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Rogue Angel replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
While I'm inclined to believe the list is correct given the source, I'm really hoping it's not. Although an English version directly from LEGO may changes things a little bit, there is a whole lot of redundancy here. Only pics and time will tell. -
I really like the way your photo editing makes it look in last shot like there is snow between the studs. May have to copy try my hand at editing. I like your flag, and I also like the bell. My one critique, I always notice when bricks aren't fully locked, or don't quite line up. If this was intentional to create more of a ruined look, then just ignore me. I noticed this on one of the Kingdoms sets the other day (The King's Carriage I think) and it will bug me every time I look at the box now. Good job!

I saw this early this morning, but could not see the pictures well on my phone. I'm surprised there's only 1 comment so far! I like the variety of styles, especially the use of the shields and the dark flesh bricks and the tiling on the building on the right, and the dark, green roofing and cornerwork on the building on the left. I also like your use of all the CMFs, but I'm not sure any of my forces will be worried about a were-rabbit. (of course there have been cases where rabbits were underestimated in the past....) Great build, and I love how I never know what I'm going to find in your builds. Keep it up!

Wow! The fountain, the longboat the shoreline and the snow work are all top notch, but the outer wall and the tower are just amazing! I love the cross sectional view. This is yet another beautiful MOC!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Rogue Angel replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would think a $200 B-Wing would be far larger than minifig scale, although I would love to see new minis with it (I haven't looked at the dimensions of the B-Wing recently though, so I could be wrong.) -
Thanks for the comments! I am really happy with the shelves in the library, but I have to build them into the wall to make them work. I ran out of brown brackets, so the shelf in the Head Mage's chamber is not built correctly. I am pretty happy with the interior, but I could really use some more wall decorations, as I said in the interiors thread. I thought my hall was pretty cool until I got to Brickworld, and had to set it next to all of Z's creations -

Albion, the capitol city of Avalonia, is renowned for it's wealth of culture and variety of inhabitants. Naturally, it is the perfect location for the home of the Historica Mage's Guild. Hecate is the goddess of Magic, witchcraft and the other mystic arts. In ancient times, the druids built shrines to Hecate to curry favors and blessings. The mages of Historica have built Hecate Hall in honor of the great Goddess despite the fact that the guild frowns upon witchcraft and the baser magics, and shun the use of death magic favored by necromancers, all of which fall under Hecate's domain. Hecate Hall is located in the heart of Albion along a main thoroughfare and attracts many peddlers, farmers and beggars. Ragello the bard has prospered from the generous coin of the wealthy denizens of Albion that visit Hecate Hall and it's neighboring establishments, and he catches the eye of many a local maiden. The rivers and fields of the Avalonia heartland have brought forth a wealth of goods for sale or trade, and many goods can be acquired upon the streets of Ablion Even in the great jewel Albion, travelers must still be wary for thieves and pickpockets that haunt any large city. Atop the roof of Hecate Hall sits a rookery where owls, hawks and ravens are kept. The roof also boasts a beautiful view of Albion The main floor of the Hall opens into a common room with access to the Council Chamber, the cellar and the 2nd floor. In the common room, apprentices like the Viderling twins may discuss incantations, herbs, and glamours, although occasionally there are less ... savory characters such as Cecil B. Prosperous who claims to be a Summoning Invoker Extraordinaire looking to hire apprentices... The head council for the Mage's guild currently consists of Rodimus the humble, Cordimere the Scarlet Wizard, Taish the Celestial Beauty, Kredge Greatfire and Lord Mirsk the Sand Dervish. The 2nd floor houses the Guild library, The chambers of Rodimus - the current head mage, and the roof stairwell. The cellar holds the ale room and the summoning chamber, as well as secret access to the alleyway. Apparently the darker arts are still practiced, even within the walls of Hecate Hall itself! Hecate Hall is frequented by visitors from across Historica, and serves to unite the Mages in common cause. Being located in Avalonia, there are times when discretion is more powerful than the greatest spell or artifact. The secret sliding panel in the outer wall of the hall allows for less conspicuous access. Hecate Hall is frequented by many wealthy and prominent citizens of Historica and has proved to be a boon to Albion, both financially and defensively. So long as the peace of Historica holds, the Mages shall continue to gather here to share knowledge and learning. High rez gallery here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=506065

This is something I have been trying to work on. I'm doing OK with furniture ( tables, chairs, shelves, end tables, beds, divans/sofas) and I always have lighting which adds a little flavor, but I am trying to come up with new wall decorations. Windows are nice and I've been using tile tapestries, but I really think there are better options that I have not thought of. I should be posting my mage hall tonight, which has 3 stories of interiors.

Great details and ideas, yet again. As everyone else has said, the beehives, honeycombs and beekeeper masks look great! Excellent work!
-
Very Mitgardian! I like the small windows, and the snow - especially on the right side of the first picture. I really like the statue as well. My only suggestion would be to move your dk bley 2x2 tiles with 1 stud out of sight so it looks like the tower goes directly into the snow. Nice build!
-
I really like the concept on this one, and the large bonfire. I like your border style as well. Good job!
-
This is a BEAUTIFUL MOC! I love it. Great detail along the walls and I really like the brickwork with the sunken bricks, and the brickwork on the corner. I also like the roofing style. Many many great details - this is just a gorgeous build!
-
I like the tower design, and the tile work on the bridge. Lots going on here, and the story is great! I LOVE the swaddling clothes for the babe though, that is brilliant!
-
I've seen this in person, and it is AMAZING! I especially like the fisher folk, the little balconies at the back of the tower, and very solid wooden crenelations along the top. This is a gorgeous build!
-
Very nice ship you've built here. I like the color scheme, and it definitely looks like a solid cargo ship versus the war vessels we normally see. I like the use of the canvas as well!
-
Great build! I too love the border you used on the build. The rock and snow work are well done, and I really like how it looks like all 5 are on a mission (tilting the figures forward really conveys this well). Excellent job!
-
You've gone cheese slope crazy! This is a beautiful build. Quite the story too! A very solid, well detailed build. Great job!

I've got pics here as well: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=505873

Nice boat, I like the sails! I've got to start using other materials and strings and such. I do like the style as well. I like builds based off existing ships/buildings, etc. In terms of responses, I personally had been busting my rear to get my Brickworld build done, so I hadn't been checking out any new individual posts. There always seems to be a slow down after the Challenge deadlines.
