  1. This is the epitome of a beautiful castle wall. You're builds are always superb, and this one is as well. I really like the catapults, and the rock work is great as well. The main tower is also very well done. Amazing!
  2. Great market! I love all the activity, and I love how crowded it is, just like it would have been historically. I love the variety of stalls and merchants. You've done an excellent job with this!
  3. This build is astounding! Another amazing chapter in your series. Every scene has so much detail and is beautifully done. I love the roof work, and the 2x1 plate work for the walls looks wonderful, but I do not envy what it took to assemble this. A work of art!
  4. This is an excellent microbuild. I really like what you've done with the volcano and I love the pirate trees (like everyone else). I like the doorway on the castle, and I agree with BB that the background really adds to the build. Great job here!
  5. I love your giant builds! They are always well done and very involved and complex. This build is no different. I really like the multiple levels, and the overhand with the crane/rope assembly. I also really like the vines/dead trees in the dragon's lair. So much to see here! P.S. It's great that you have completely switched forces here - I love it!
  6. De Gothia, I think you have created more storyline and chapters in Historica history than anyone else, and your builds are always excellent, as are your tales. I especially love the sand green corner building. It's great to see interactions between guilds. Great job!
  7. I can't believe I missed this. It's a beautiful MOC. I really like the story and the building - especially the roof. The landscaping is great, as always. This was very nice and timely (back when you posted it.) Excellent work!
  8. For every challenge so far, there have been a large number of last minute entries. I think we will see quite a few more yet. It does makes sense that the further out we go, the less entries we will have for each challenge. I for one, will not have time to post my entry until tomorrow.
  9. I would say that Zombie would be 4th place at least on this list, and I don't think the samurai deserves to be one here. It's a cool fig, but it's no army builder as we already had an entire line of samurai/ninja. I think the evil dwarf might be more popular than the musketeer as well. Also, I'm thinking there is a good chance this thread will get merged with an existing one.
  10. Thanks! I've got 6 snow speeders, 5 echo bases, and 12 battle packs, for a total of 52 troopers, and I bricklinked the rest. I did have to bricklink all the new helmets and goggles, but it didn't end up being too pricey. I only have a mere dozen Zevs.
  11. Here is my Rebel Army, consisting of five infantry squads, three rifle squads and two artillery/repulsor squads, under the command of General Jan Dodonna and Commander Vanden Willard.
  12. If you bought it while in stores, it should be worth a bit more than you paid. If you bought most of it in the post market..it still should have held it's value pretty well.
  13. I in fact understood the first time just fine, but I don't know all the smiley faces to show I was being a little Megablock. I just happened across some dubstep videos on youtube last week, and was pretty impressed. I've always had a fondness for drums n bass, but my heart lies with house and trance... although Skrillex has been a Godsend for their influence on popular music, and they rock too. Coincidentaly, i have always pictured elementals as being the incarnate form of the respective element, just like Dungeons and Dragons portrays them: water in wave form, fire in flame form.. It's interesting to see what alternate elementals people are coming up with (phoenix and dragon to name a few). I think this challenge will be quite interesting.
  14. Angeli, do I detect an, ever so slight, forgotten realms influence?
  15. Mikel, i like the coloring and the overall shape of your ship (phone only lets me see so much detail) i am going to start my own vessel soon, and I was trying to determine what I wanted to model it after. I had considered something along the lines of a clipper for a sleeker vessel and that's almost colonial , but I would definitely simplify it for GoH. It does seem like anything from the gunpowder era back is fair game here, as I would expect from most medieval-themed fantasy worlds.
  16. How can you have an uncontrolled lust to a small degree?
  17. Cara, that Phoenix looks amazing! Can't wait to see the finished entry!
  18. Thanks Mutley! Here is my force of Hoth Rebels. There are eight squads of infantry, two artillery squads, and one mounted Tautaun squad all under the command of General Carlist Rieekan. and it just occurred to me that my 8th Tauntaun is still in my Echo base set.... I will have to remedy that later.
  19. Oky, did anyone ever post an Astromech Army for you? Here's my force of Astromechs: I still need to pick up some of the new R5-style astromechs. I will finally be getting around to posting my army in the next couple of weeks, although it will probably be one force at a time.
  20. Yeah, that was the key for the space marines for me. I'd find the big armor, and then verify it with the gun. For the aztec, the helmet was pretty obvious but the spear verified them.
  21. Agreed! Bigger, better, more signage, more GoH members... Can't wait!
  22. Gotta say Gabe, I LOVE your elemental, but I'm not too keen on the face. Since the rest of the figure has more curves and definition, the printed face gets lost, and doesn't really fit, vs when it is used on the smooth, low detail Shelob body. Just my two cents, but it will look awesome either way! Kayne, that lighthouse is a beaut, and you've done a great job with your elemental. Is your build within the size limits? It probably is, it just looks big. Can't wait to see it finished!
  23. The easiest way to determine the castle armor vs the hockey/football or space marine armor is by the cleft in the bottom of the front side of the castle armor.
  24. TheJediKnight1, please take the time to capitalize, spell and punctuate properly. Some of your posts have been very hard to read.
  25. Great job! I don't normally like Chibi - but it looks great with droids. This is a beautiful MOC!
