AT-ST pilot, Peeve the Harry Potter ghost's head, and dumbledore hair. Why the heck did you think this was official?

Daily Mirror Free Lego deal comes to the City (and Creator)
Darth Legolas replied to Big Pete's topic in LEGO Town
Why do British people keep getting worthwhile and totally exclusive free stuff? Hardworking Americans would pay 5 bucks a pop for these! (Kidding. But I would pay 3!) -
I meant the subscription, but I know it won't happen. I also meant the book, and that could easily happen. Okay, no. This is about the 4th time you posted a random set wish, that has almost zero chance have happening with no rumor or explanation besides the fact it is in CW. I know we may be getting this, because it is in CW, but that's really off topic. Unlike the Rebel Ice Cutter, which I was right about! This is almost worse when you suggested that the AT-AT will be Force Unleashed. Way to not give me any credit for saying that back in August. It's pretty likely. New Jetpack+More accuracy needed on old mando pack = New mando helmet! Though I do love the Boba I have now.

See, now there's an idea. Now that you got my hopes up, your prediction better be right! Though it is a combo, and it would be HUGE for a brickmaster set. That'd be like them handing out $20-30 to everyone! Another thought: Since brickmaster is for all of the well deserving non-mirror getting and well paying US citizens, it could be a combo of the three minis you guys looted for free! I really do hope it's Star Wars though.
-
Well, I don't know what droid you're referring to, but OT or not, every droid can do a lot more than what you're thinking of. Second off, that's a really random thought. I don't think anyone's brought up Endor, and truly we don't even know if it's OT or CW yet, so don't get any ideas.

We already have Anakin Skywalker in CW... About 3 times also. Maybe even 4. For the people going nuts about the Naboo Cruiser, I'll tell you, I saw that same picture on a 2009 rumor list 2 years ago. End of discussion. l

Video of Lego Buddhist Temple In Pop-Up Book
Darth Legolas replied to RepublicForces's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Dang. No way I could ever do this, no matter what. -
Indeed, it was around 140 parts, but most of them looked worthwhile for building pirate-themed things. If there's one piece I'm hoping is in that book, it would be a light bluish gray 6X3 wedge plate. Enough of those, and you can build yourself an Executor! Though again, the models will probably be midi or mini, or a bunch of non-canon throw-away ships, but those are good for pieces.

I removed what I said. Sorry. Okay, now on topic: Chances are the book is for younger kids. Look at the Castle and pirates books, they're 7+, I think, and to get the right age limit for sets with kids who own three Lego sets or more, you subtract 2 years. For me, I take anything and subtract 10 years, but I'm probably at the highest age point on Lego sets anyway, unless there's a 20+. I would imagine there'll be something good in there, maybe not a new minifigure, but possibly a rarer minifigure. If it's CW, we could get something like Dooku or a special Clone. If it's OT, we could get an Imp, or maybe a Rebel Pilot with a new helmet printing. They always come with one good guy and one bad guy. No matter what, it's not going to be a total waste of money, guys. I think the books out now are pretty cool, and interesting. I don't thing Lego's going to make crap for their biggest money maker. Maybe we'll get something like a Midi TIE fighter, and you can make it into an interceptor, advance, or regular, which could be useful for pieces. Or something like that in CW. You get the idea.
-
The book won't just have two minifigures. It's guaranteed because the "book" is actually just a hardcover instruction manual, as far as I know, and it comes with a $20 some pieces, though since it's liscensed and Star Wars, it'll probably have a few more and better pieces, and a definite raise in price. Simple Lego Star Wars rule of thumb: Actual worth of set + $20 = Set price! But let's not make this into a price rant, I'm just trying to add up how many pieces it will be. It could also be full of mini's. That would make a lot of sense.
-
I love that movie! My favorite part was when they start throwing plates at them... Great job on the minifig! His eyes make him look like a star wars character. I like how the hairpiece is purposely unattractive!
-
They are available everywhere, you put a period instead of a question mark, and I'm American and I hate Wal-Mart.
-
I'm going to say right off the bat, the brickmaster books have nothing to do with Brickmaster magazine! When the pirate and castle books came out, people were so foolish blabbing about how they couldn't get them because they were US only. Clearly these books will be European-available, and will contain instructions and 300 some pieces to build different models. Usually they come with a minifig or two. It was a horrible idea for Lego to call those books brickmaster anyway. Are they trying to confuse people?
-
You don't have any Stormies yet! Shun! Shun! Shun! The new black paudlren could be a molded piece. I really wanted an orange one, seeing as I don't have any. Just a bunch of regular stormies, gathered from all corner of the galaxy.

ABS, as I said. Standard, solid, and sturdy plastic for Lego. I love the Rodian head, so a Trandoshan better be great! Can you give me a quote on that? Anyway, I myself am not to sure, but last year, look back nad see that the summer sets predicted came out 8/10 true, so... Also, it's worthless complaining about CW. Some of the sets come in quite handy, especially the RGS and AT-TE. They're also bringing in bucketloads of money. I myself am mainly buying OT sets, but some of the movie machine and characters are only released in CW form. Think about The Droid Gunship, for example. And the new Snail Tank, as weird as it is, is more accurate than the old one. If only the dang thing had eyes on poles.
-
I can see him having an ABS head. Sort of like a Rodians. I'd be devastated if they gave him a rubber-ish head like Kit Fisto or Plo Koon. The heads suited well for the characters, but Bossk has a solid-ish head. I hate the plastic they use for the CW Yoda head. It's weird. Something like these two would be awesome!
-
I gotta say, I am no video game expert. I however, liked Battlefront 1 and 2, and those were FPS... I think. I'd like another game like that, but more storyline canon.
-
Well, people've already said, the landspeeder. And when Lego comes out with the rumored Wampa attack this summer... Bossk will be in CW season 2, but I agree, I want another OT Slave I. I know people desperately crave Jango's old ship, but personally I need Boba's. I had the one from 2006/7 (don't remember,) but I kind of....dropped it. As I said about Garindan before, I never didn't want him. I never said it would be stupid, I just said that there wasn't going to be. I would like it, even though the speeder's going to be way overpriced as it is, but there was no chance.

Stickers for Shell fuel station 6378
Darth Legolas replied to Er!k's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'll tell you what I do for decals, I just use good ol' printer paper and white glue. This way the stickers are removable with no residue. It doesn't look as good as real stickers, but they work like a charm. -
That's on purpose. Look at this picture of the landspeeder: Tada!

Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
Darth Legolas replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thanks for all the info on Black Friday, guys, but I'm really just looking for a reduced Death Star. Anything $20+ lower than the actual price is good. But I have no idea how to get it. Any sale is all I need. Of course Toys'R'Us goes out of stock when they have their Bricktober sale! -
You don't look 13 in that picture. Do you mean 31? Welcome, and have a great time!
-
I told you not to doubt NavyTrooperFenson! Thanks! And as for the Garindan movement... Optimism is the key to depression! :skull: @Grivus: I don't know why it concerns you so much. If Lego is in Russia, isn't the speeder too? I know they didn't sell IJ sets, but that's understandable seeing as it put Russian in bad light. Plus, if it isn't in Russia, they've got that Shipito.com that sells U.S. stuff to non U.S. people because they say U.S. is poor and cheap. It makes me feel special. The landspeeder doesn't seem so special to me. I mean, this could have been the chance for Lego to really mirror the movie prop, but instead it resembles the past sets, which were all inaccurate.
-
So I'm hunting for a Death Star. Since no one in the world has a kind heart, the last resort I am going to use is Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving in the U.S., for all who don't know. So is it smart, or will I just get smushed? Does anyone have past experience? Also, how good a deal will I get? I'm not kidding about getting smushed. I saw the picture of what a Soccer mom did to a guy, only using a shopping cart, to get a wii. EDIT: I know there are a lot of issues with this topic, so MODs please move it around/change it, I just need my question answered.

Gimme! Where is this picture you speak of? What website?
