  1. Sorry if this is a duplicate, but here's something that recently puzzled me. I am trying to make an imp officer, but his head is really looks, so it twists really easily and sometimes slides off by itself. At the same, one of my Stormies and some of my Clone's heads are so tight you gotta yank it off, and I don't wanna damage the pieces. Usually to untighten a h ad, you just twist it a lot, but it still take a bunch of effort. So, how do: Heads get tighter Necks get looser Necks get tighter And heads get looser? I notice most of the loose heads are pretty old.
  2. Hoobah! You're all wrong! my clones have been in that AT-OT for the month I've had it and they all stayed snug in their seats even when I missed a step going up the stairs with it and jerked the whole thing forward! My only complaint about that set is that it's a really bad idea to ever use the attaching function. It works fine, but a whole pount dor so is straining on one technic axle! But really, the chairs are fine for me. I Try to keep my minifigs in tip top shape, so I guess that's why they all fit in the chair so well. The only thing that's been bugging me recently is that their heads get really loose. I guess I'll make a topic and ask that.
  3. No, it's not that, not at all. Not to me. Some say it's bigger, some say it's wider. SOme say it's to blocky. You know what it is to me? It's exactly, EXACTLY the same as the other. Here are the similarities: Same old giant Buzz Droid Same Pod Same Engines Same Eyes Same Front Same all around general design Differences: Rocket Droids (I've got more than enough of those stupid things) Flick Fires (Oh boy!-Not.) Rockets (Already Modded onto my original) Slightly More Dorky Color Scheme So, you see. They really are the same ship. If you put the two next to each other against any non Lego fan, they really wouldn't see the difference. Then again, this is just prototype, but just look at this and that: Note-while browsing brickshelf I noticed our own member (no names) uploaded the gallery of 2010 sets to brickshelf! Good luck keeping that up for a day!
  4. Not really... I don't see a difference at all. And not to mention, we already have more than confirmation that the BP has Two Snowies, an Imp Officer, and an AT-AT pilot. So... no.
  5. I noticed there are no licensed pieces. I wonder what they do with those? Oh well. That's a great deal! Iv'e seen them do that before, but never bothered asking. Maybe I'll check out my Lego store some time!
  6. Neither of you have heard of monsters four? One of those new Lego board games, with lots of minifig heads, yum yum! I say it goes in "other themes." No idea if anyone's reviewed it before. Rate it like a regular review, and post normal pictures too. It'd be nice if you could provide how to play the game.
  7. Wow! That landspeeder looks great! It's the new feel with the windshield, yet it kept to the old style design from before 2004! Sadly, no Sand Red, but I love this and the minifigs!! If only there were one tusken raider. Luckily I have two, so I can perfectly recreate the seen! ARC's looking great! I may buy this...but probably not. I already have the old one and Kit Fisto, and the pilots do seem cool but unappetizing to me. Of course, I did break my old ARC... The TIE Defender definitely says 242, by the way. At most it could be 30. In fact, that's probably the price. And one last thing, it also took me a long time to find those last two's pictures.
  8. Like it? I love it! I truly love how accurate this is, and the perfect lifting back, but my absolute favorite part of this truck is the red and orange bin! It looks so real! Great job!
  9. No, because people actually know who Antilles was. Everyone knows the famous scene of Vader choking him. Nobody's ever seen that guy's face up close unless they look on Wookiepedia. He's just another rebel. What's so important? Plus, there are no main characters in battle packs.
  10. Well it depends when I like stickers. If there is something you want to reuse again and again, but it has a printing on it, it''l only make sense in that theme. But if you get a set you know you'll never take apart, but the stickers go on dreadfully, then I hate it. I love the new printed Tantive IV cockpit. It's perfect, because I'll never remove a piece from it, and I Hate stickers on clear parts. With licensed themes, I think everything will cost more. One for the molds they make for pieces (Indy's Golden Idol and the Crystal Skull, (Star Wars has Greedo and Boba Fett, and a lot more helmets...but that's for army building, so they make about as much money as they spent) and two for the money to pay for the license.
  11. Just another note, reading through the part about molds again, since they say they desperately have to reuse molds, so they have to make somewhat reusable pieces, why did Lego make the Space Police Snake Helmet? No one else can wear it, and nothing else could use it! I really dislike it, but I don't understand how that could ever be re-used! Ever!
  12. High five! Same opinion! Especially on thee Tri-Fighter and the TIE fighter. I know this is Immature of me, but how dare you! I can't believe you'd badmouth that piece of beauty! Just the size of it makes me cry with joy! It's not a total chance that this is EU or TFU. In fact, the TIE Bomber was and the TIE Interceptor were seen in the movie so briefly that they barely count as OT, and not to mention the Interceptor was in a swarm of other TIE's making it barely noticeable. And, just to add, I think that was edited in by Lucas after the movie came out. So it's possible that this set is supposed to fit in with OT. And of course, I love it. If we got Galen Marek in Sith armor, it would be beyond awesome. I love that helmet! But of course, a normal stormie pilot would do just fine. And on the note that the new Rebels will have the orange visors of the ARC-170 pilots, I think that's just... well crazy! If anyone reads the news, Lego wants they're designers to reuse old parts as much as they can these days, because molds cost a fortune (please explain the Space Police Snake Helmet, never useable anywhere else ,) so they really wouldn't make a brand new mold and then scrap it 6 months later. Maybe the orange visor fits into the goggles, or maybe there is no orange, and the goggles go onto the ARC-170 pilots! P.S. I know it's pointless to argue, but it's not ridiculous. It's epic.
  13. Can I just request on thing? Never take this apart. I love it! it's the greatest RC truck I've ever seen and looks just like a regular lego truck, but it's RC! I love it so much! If only I had he genius to create such a thing myself!
  14. Aahhhh, now I get it. Well, I guess I do owe it to Billy Mays to buy his commercial's product now that he's...up there. Moderators, can you keep this open a bit longer just in case something goes wrong when I try that so I can ask for more help?
  15. Well, reading the NY times article I posted here, Brothers Brick had said that Hydrogen Peroxide (3%) would un-yellow plastic. I also had read it earlier, but if it's on a world-credited newspaper it had to be right... So I soaked my two, most undesirably yellow pieces, that were almost browning, in hopes that it would work and restore those pieces, which would be quite useful! But, that hasn't happened yet. By now I think I've soaked them for about 16 hours, give or take, and still nothing. Was it that this chemical was a prevention and not a solution, or am I doing it wrong? Thanks!
  16. The upcoming Rebel Battlepack. The first ever to include an entirely canon, and seen on-screen vehicle, the Laser Ice Cutter. And I won't stop rubbing the fact that I was totally right and everyone was completely and utterly wrong, and I was right, that that would happen!
  17. No fair! They skipped a year! Why is it that Lego decided that CW packaging will now be for all sets? It bothers me, I really like keeping the two separate.
  18. Wow, I never thought I'd say this, but I'd buy this Tusken Battlepack. Although it's blatantly non-canon (Tusken Attack Speeder,) but I love the rock Trap and the Speeder! Now, since you entered, I have to also. But this time mine will make somewhat-sense.
  19. No way. Lego just made brand new goggles, they aren't gonna change them again. I don't really see the orange-ish either. It's not a tank! and it's perfect! It's a Rebel Laser Ice Cutter (I was right) and they got ever detail down! It's true that it seems that the Anakin/Obi Wan are wearing the same clothes as Han always does. Or at least from the one glance I gave the thing before I decided I wouldn't buy it. Wow, and the first Battle Pack. I just realized that means that in 2010, these will be the ninth and tenth battlepack released! I completely forgot those first ones existed!
  20. Ah, I get it now! And to think, I was about to buy a General Veers off of BL. Now I can just get this thing, and say it's close enough. I know it's just me, but it really looks like that Imp officer has a silver Droid Body! I like that the Imperial battlepack is the first to have 3 different types of figs! All the others were either entirely similar or only one was different.
  21. I mean the thing to the left of the AT-AT pilot, looks like it could be a fourth minifig. P.S. Tie Defender P.S.S. Did anybody ask yet, why it says 442 for the battlepack's piece count?
  22. Wow, things happen fast! My comments: Freeco Bike: My MOC was so much better. And about the CAT, told you so! And yes, that's a Talz. Tri Fighter: Um.... no. Tie Defender, Thank God! That thing looks awesome! Number one on my list of these! Rebel Battle Pack: Rebel Ice Cutter! I was right! I was right! I was riiiiight! Rebel Pilot, right again! Snow Trooper Battlepack: AT-AT Driver! Cheap! Woohoo! Great speeder, I wonder what that silver thing in the background is! EDIT: Thanks, Lego-Freak!
  23. Anybody know if the mini sets will be coming to U.S. ever?
