Nice indestructable ship Although I'm not used to see ships like that on this subforum, I still respect your building skills. You have really used some nice techniques on this one! But I'm also glad it has at least 1 mast Maybe we can scratch it a little bit with our entire fleet, but We'd better search no troubles with this bunch of steel. (Or we could send some spies and make our own modern ship) Nice MOC!

Green Thunder again! Although there are not so many Greencoats, the few that exist are very smart. They have made a time machine very recently and who can we use as testdummies better than prisoners! :pir-skull: Well, it's not so bad, I mean, who doesn't want to travel in time? It's a very unique experience So here they go. I also give them some stuff they can take with them on their journey. We send the first prisoner to the Jurassic period. And as the first man Bluecoat ever he faces a dinosaur! And we also gave some meat with the prisoner so he could feed the dinosaurs. The second one finds himself back in the Middle Ages! The time they burnt a lot of misterious people. The people thought they were witches and magicians. We gave the third one also some nice clothes and sent him to the wild west, so to the future! We didn't have to give the last one special clothes, instead, we took something from him. Than we hanged him on a wooden thing and send him just a few miles away, but in the same time period as we were. And after this we decided to destroy the machine again because it would be dangerous in the wrong hands. But we can easily build another one if we want to. It was a succes and gave us some very funny moments. Thanks prisoners, Thanks time machine!

Look at the redcoat's face! Good entry capt. Zuloo! And it doesn't really matter they are not against the greencoats, the bluecoats are, ofcourse, still agains redcoats and greencoats are against ever other coat. It's just about how funny it is, not against which enemy. Funny and original MOC

I'm also a greencoat now, so I can laugh about the poor bluecoats This is just a very painful death, but at least theycan try to eat something before they die (if they manage to take a bite of the fish whilst being hit with them) Nice entry, and also the spongebob-minifigs are doing a great job! Joey: It's GREEN vs. Blue now!

No it's not lego.. But you can use it for lego ships as well

Pictorial Review - 6267 - Lagoon Lockup
Admiral Croissant replied to Lorentzen's topic in LEGO Pirates
I give it a 'good'. It's a good set, with some nice minifigs and enough weapons. And also the white/yellow window is very useful. But the prisoner looks too kind to me. Not the mean scurvy dog I'm used to think of when I think of a captured pirate -
I bought it in our local fabrics shop. I think it's quite easy to get. Pictures: I made the stripes with a brown pencil, but a normal one looks also good. It's just what you like the most.

Nice one! Again the bananas proved themselves worthy! Good use of the blue flames and nice camera angles. Also some brave words from Sir Lock, all the other officers could take that as an example Anyway, this is a good and funny way to get rid of those lobsters. :pir-skull:

Pretty good ship. Though it could use some more crewmembers Nice thing to make the mast(s) lean over a little bit. For the rest, maybe you could make the figurehead a little bit better and place the compass on the steering wheel or something like that. And please place the flag on the fore mast higher because the enemy could think you surrender yourself

I always use unbleached cotton (I hope that's the correct name for it) for the sails. The colour is quite good. I also make lines on them with a pensil and after the whole thing I use varnish or glue to give it a nice shape and prevent unraveling. This is a pretty good method, but there could be better ones.

Good movie, and it's quite long. You must have made very very much pictures for this one!

I think the sloped fort is the best. I think that one is the most specific for this time period, though it could use something to make it look a bit more complex and interesting. But the other ones are nice too.
-
Cool The gap in the fore topsail (?) of the first picture is strange/interesting, I've never seen that before. Did you also walk on one of those ships?
-
I don't like schooners BSB for me! But indeed, a superhero is only a REAL superhero if he's able to save both.

I don't know how to put the image on this forum in the good way, but this will work too. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorI...&itemID=301 You could use some of these fences for it. It's not my idea but I'm going to use it as well and it looks quite good.
-
Good idea, but somehow this looks a bit strange as well. But those bagpipes are very nice!
-
Well, from that range they can't miss The only thing is that they might get some blood on their uniforms, but they are red anyway It's a very decent building, from wich I don't think they will escape. I also like the black and white pattern (I'm going to use that as well in my MOC)
-
I don't agree with the criticism about the colours. The colours are perfect, though some brown could be nice as well. But compared to most lego ships, this one is very realistic. Ofcourse it's not the real size but it looks very great and there are a lot of useful parts in it. Strange is that on every image here, the lateen sail is in a different position as it is on the box. And btw, I have this set too and my cannon is without the image on top of it. Anyway, I like this set

Good Scene. I suddenly noticed the way your soldiers are holding their weapon, thats a good idea, I think I'm going to use it as well. The first thing my eyes saw was the wounded man, that's also nice work. And finally, I realized I have a twin brother, in the form of the dipach rider
-
Nice fort! Your GF must be very proud to live there Like Capt. Blackmoor said, it could use some more details (like more frogs, so it's easier to find one ) But the overall-look is very impressive. I like the way the two cannons are looking at everyone who tries to walk through the entrance
-
Do you mean this figure head? You can use a minifig for it with minifig armory. That's not so difficult. There are some examples in the index.

Ah, now I see Funny one! Maybe you could have added some text to make it more clear. But obvouisly some other people got the joke so it isn't very neccesary

Joey's Visit to Portsmouth and Chatham Dockyards
Admiral Croissant replied to Joey Lock's topic in LEGO Pirates
Nice! That must have been 2 amazing days! I would like to visit the Victory as well, maybe next summer. Too bad you couldn't see everything of the ship. But also, isn't it forbidden to take pictures in the ship? Anyway, the warrior is great as well ofcourse, and the gundeck isn't even thát different from the Victory. The fort looks also interesting. Well, nice pictures!
