  1. A few updates of my town: vehicles and buildings. A quad made of leftovers A yellow version of the car designed by PaulC :-) A power distribution station for the whole town A small fire station
  2. PaulC, your car is so nice that I did some "special" versions: from up to bottom: medical car, police car and fire car. Hope you like :-)
  3. Very nice! I like you town! :) You only need a baseplate for your central square.
  4. I like all the cars! Very nice, I'll try to build them with my own bricks.
  5. I've cleaned all the cookies, more than one time, but each time I close the browser I need to login manually. I use IE 7.
  6. Finally I've moved my town to its definitive location. Now there is more space around it, and it isn't under direct sun light. More pictures here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomane...n2008_lds01.jpg and here: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomane...n2008_lds03.jpg
  7. V-LC-02D to V-LC-02F New vehicles! :-) Three-wheeled Ape Piaggio :-) Mail van Containers truck Enjoy! :-)
  8. Here's a picture: And here's the LDD version I did before building the real thing, just to be sure I can use only the bricks in the set http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomane.../10183_mod1.jpg
  9. The town has changed during the latest weeks... The cinema has been modified (even if the movie is still "Star Wars"... :-) ) The restaurant has now some outdoor tables. Finally, the train has arrived! :-) The new cargo train is ready, done entirely with set #10183. Seeya later! :-)
  10. Very nice! The same style of my old town. I like all the details, can't wait to see more :)
  11. Thank you for all the feedback :) The buildings are in a more realistic style than the "classic" 80's buildings. Infact they have a closed back and streets have sidewalks (grey plates). No interiors because: a) in closed buildings you can't really see the inside; b) I havent's enough bricks to build all the interiors forniture :) For those who want to see some aerial views, here there are some: There are no trains yet because... they're late :-D More pictures here when moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=291429 Seeya! :-)
  12. Layout Hello everybody! My new version of Brickville opens today, so here it is a guided tour of my sigfig of the new version of Brickville. Hello! I'm Salvobrick, and welcome to the 2008 version of Brickville! This is the new cinema. Today's movie is... Star Wars! :) We have an hotel too. Maybe it is not a luxury one, but it's very confortable. Here is the cafe'. Ice-creams here are very big, arent' they? :) This is the post office. From here I can ship letters and parcels everywhere in the world. The barber's shop. I need to have a new haircut, one day or another... We care a lot about culture. Here it is our local bookstore. To the gorcer's we can buy the best fruits and vegetables. Here it is the Police station. Cool! A TV interview! I will be on TV soon! Let's visit the train station. How many people are waiting for the next train! This crane is very big! Collecting trash is very important to keep our town clean. Let's buy the newspaper now... Hmm... the news aren't very good... (the newspaper says: "Bank robbery") Let's have some fresh water from the fountain. This is the bank. Yum! I really need a good sandwich! I need to check my bank account at the ATM. This is the gas station. It's here since... 1958, I think ;) To visit the construction site I need to wear a safety helmet. Let's go up! What is there? Uh-oh... To go to the other side of the town, I need to take the bus. Nice garden, isn't it? Hello, kids! Hmm... the town is not totally safe... If you feel lost, here's the town plan. Now I'm back at home, with my wife. I hope you liked the tour :) Bye bye! :)
  13. V-LC-01D to V-LC-01F, V-LV-05D Hello! My new town is almost ready for the inauguration. In the meanwhile, here there are some MOC vehicles, some of them are new, others are revised versions of old ones. The old red articulated truck is now a gas tanker. a flatbed truck inspirated by set #7900, but 6-wide instead of 8-wide. A tan vintage car. My cars are usually 4-wide, but some vintage cars were very big, so here's a 6-wide one :) A tow truck, inspired by the recent truck sets. I'm not totally satisfied with this one, so I might modify it in the future. More pics here, after moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=301293 Hope you like :)
  14. 95% finished! :) My team of engineers and architects is working hard to complete the town in the next two weeks. In the meanwhile: More pictures here after moderated: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=291430 or here: http://www.youbrick.com/v/Town/2008/
  15. This is a set I've created with LDD and uploaded on the Lego Factory website :)
  16. Yes, the stickers are almost all my design. You'll see more details when the town will be completed.

    New town

Hello! :) I'm rebuilding my town in a more realistic style, CC compatible, with closed back, bigger buildings, etc. Here's a preview: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomane..._preview_03.jpg More to come in the next weeks. Merry Christmas and a happy new year! :)
  19. I did this yesterday :-) Enjoy! ;-)
  20. Here there are the links to the Lego Factory site for the american cars (red and black). They are earlier version, but you can download them and easily adapt to those shown in this thread: Red one: http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...4f-3f5734da0ce5 Black one: http://shop.lego.com/Product/Factory/Produ...e4-cf5f0d2f9696
  21. More american cars :-) Instruction files will follow soon.
  22. And now, another 50's american car, this time 6-wide (eh, those cars were _huge_! :-) )
  23. Here there are some classic cars done with LDD (with all the brick palette limitations etc.) If will put them in my Lego Factory gallery in the next days. In the meanwhile... enjoy! :-) First of all, an italian classic, the Fiat 500 (the original one, not the recent remake...) The italian-polish Fiat 126: And now a french classic: Citroen DS: The new Mini: I've showed it in another thread, but here's again the Volkswagen van: And I finish today with two generic 50's american cars: Hope you like :-)
  24. I use ice-cream boxes to sort bricks: these boxes are totally free :-) (except for the ice-cream, of course... :-) ) The bricks are generally sorted by type, color and size: I have currently 14 boxes where I keep all the unused bricks.
  25. I did a cinema, some time ago http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=155622 It was only an experiment with some leftovers, so it's not perfect :-)
