Does anybody else like Motorcycles around here?
L-space replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Community
first good luck onthe surgery. Keep dreaming of your new bike and it will be over in a jiffey Balkan looks good indeed. You never now.... -
Too bad it isn't as simple as "old" or "new" for me. The old small ones are great; The old large ones have multiple usage and great for MOCing; The new (cloth) small ones don't excist (I think); The new large ones are great flags, but just that. So depending on what you what them for you need to take your pick. Leading to the conclusion: "Keep 'm all".

Enjoy your stay Pirate Perry

It looks great. Somehow it reminds of 'the restaurant at the end of the universe' from Doudlas Adams 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'.

I'd like to. But my wallet won't allow it, you can't buy them of dust and forgotten washed little papers. -

A carb you can tweek with a screwdriver, so that's an advantage. But remapping the ECU is simple as hooking it to a computer and press enter. I got one yeah, with modern day fuel emission standards you need one. I didn't get mine done yet. Still looking for the perfect exhausts and a Kuryakyn hypercharger. -

The ECU is the Electronic Control Unit for the fuel injection. It delivers the right amount of fuel to the right cilinder at the right time. Its settings are normally set for a combination of exhaust and air intake. That is why it is important to 're-map' the ECU after changing one of the components. Yes, it is important; modern day fuel-injectors are sensitive, way more than carburators. -
I'm wondering, Copmike, are you going to give everybody a chance or are you first selecting on who complied to the rules (the size limit mostly)?

HAPPY HOGSWATCH featuring Death as the Hogfather, one of his little helpers; a Troll and Rincewind clinging on. inspired by the cover of "Hogfather" by sir terry Pratchett, the Corgi paperback edition. Unfortunately I don't have the pigs yet. If someone is willing to trade? I promiss they won't end up as a sausage. from wikipedia: The Hogfather The Discworld's version of Father Christmas or Santa Claus. He wears a red, fur-lined cloak, and rides a sleigh pulled by four wild boars (or, in modern portrayals, cute pink piggies), Gouger, Rooter, Tusker and Snouter. In earlier times he gave households pork products, and naughty children a bag of bloody bones. Earlier than that, he was a winter god of the death-and-renewal kind. The modern version is a jolly toymaker, with vestiges of the earlier myths (such as his Castle of Bones, a vast palace of ice which has nothing notably bony about it, except for the suggestion of a protruding femur or scapula here and there) still clinging to him. Hogswatchnight The first of Ick is Hogswatchday, the Disc's New Year, and the winter solstice from the perspective of Ankh-Morpork. In the Astronomical Year the second midwinter (the year's midway point) is called Crueltide, but to people using the Agricultural Year this is the same festival. The 32nd of December, or the day before the New Year, is known as Hogswatchnight; The name is a pun on "hogwash", Hogmanay and Watch Night, and possibly on the ancient holiday of Samhain. Traditionally associated with pig-killing, to ensure there is enough food for the rest of the winter. Many Hogswatch traditions are parodies of those associated with Christmas, including a decorated oak tree in a pot, strings of paper sausages, and, of course, a visit by the Hogfather. Witches do not leave the house on Hogswatchnight more because of tradition than any practical reasons. The witch Nanny Ogg gets around this by simply inviting everyone to her house for the holiday instead.

Yep, me too. So I think this might even be it for Brickshelf, a real shame.
