"Ah my youngling your schwarz tag is bigger then mine!"

Good to see someone who is not afraid to show his studs. Clever design again, great job. I think I will steal borrow some ideas.

I'll introduce you to my mother-in-law.

Well, my collecting half just likes to build the sets while looking at the drawings in the instruction booklet and then figuring out where the left over part was supposed to go. Then there is the other half that likes to take the set LEGO designed and tries to add more detail or simply making it bigger. The final half then really likes to build, mostly from inspiration or example, something that LEGO just wouldnt make because there is no market for it or it would just be to expensive. So in the end I do it all, sets, modding and moccing, depending on the circumstances and my needs.

Nice design, I would go for the all black though. And maybe try to lower the sidepanels on the hood? I think that would look even better. But where are the dice in the windshield, this car needs a "redneck indicator"

Finally 8083 and 8084 arrived so I picked up the first sets. More to follow.....

SlyOwl 2 Bonaparte 1 I will admit I was open to gifts, however CopMike allready made me a third place winner in de rafle. But then, he hasn't entered. On the other hand SlyOwl frontpaged me And Bonaparte talks nicely to me..... Edit: Oops, just found out about Springsmurf. *walks away casually "tralalala"*

Thanks Stash for making this happen again. Since I cannot cross the Great Pond I'd love to be in it for 2010. Still with the same sigfig.

Thanks everyone. I think my lightning is a bit of; the tower is white and dark red.

the Observatory This part of the project started 2 months ago and the final order arrived just after new year. So this morning I finished it and made the photo's. The Observatory of the Unseen University in Ankh-Morpork. See the stars and wonders of the Discworld up close. But not for too long, your eyes will start to fall out. The Great Hall will attach here, to the arch so you can acces the courtyard from the Great Hall. Overview of the small courtyard and outer wall of the building. The Wall of Names (revised) attached to the Observatory. Top view featuring the tower. The inner wall facing the University courtyard. more pictures on Brickshelf, MOCpages and Flickr Enjoy

Happy Birthday! Enjoy the signs of yet another year.

I voted rounded because it appeals to me more. This evening I will be studying my collection "up close and personal."

I would like to try on 23. Poor House (food/cloths/shelter) If you don't mind me doubling it with my Ankh-Morpork buildings.

Reading aboout riding I was a bit wondered. Then saw that you're from down under. And it's summer at your end of the world. Good luck riding it. Is this an ute? I have never heard of it. But if it is it looks rather handy. thanks to wikipedia. -
Happy New Year and all the best (LEGO) wishes for 2010.

Congratulations. Great show guys.

Happy Birthday. Enjoy the day and may your wishes come true.

Thanks mate. This will make a great addition to the fleet.

Great job you did here. It looks perfect sitting high up next to the road.

Thanks, too bad I don't have Finnish tv On the architecture: it is ment to be a simple building however I will take note. Pic 7 on Brickshelf might confuse people, here it will attach to the Great Hall. The part that is visible after that will be made to look better. Sorry, no interior. I build them as models. Somewhere between minifig and modular scale. The interior might come back as a vignette..... Thanks for frontpaging, the best compliment. I am using the same technic now on the High Energy Matrix building. Thank you. Look out for HEX for another example. Yes, I'm sorry HappyOwl; look out for a 300 pound orangutan coming from your bookshelfs to explain in a simple manner the difference between a monkey and an ape. I might try the trans black, bricklink here I come.... again. Thanks for the suggestion.
