How can I get Lego Magazine in belgium?
L-space replied to SkyOtic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I can send you a copy, if you wish. Drop me a PM. -

Good looking diorama, thanks for sharing. But since I'm not into the PT; who is standing on top of the palm tree?

Well it keeps getting better. Seing the larger pics (Endor and Hoth) I think the two sides of the bunker will fold out so you can create a large front and back for maximum playability. My kids (and I) will love this. Also the conformation of the DS trooper is great news to me. And to top it of a new restyled AT-ST with the sides that tend inwards; it keeps evolving to perfection. On the Hoth set; I understand the critics of another Han. However TLC still have to sell the set and not just to AFOLS. Just get two (or more) and swop it with a Luke. About the same people are complaining that he is in almost every set anyway. This is your change to set thing right Besides this will be the most affordable Han ever. And to put thing in perspective where is Home One?

After the long wait finally some(illegal) pictures and they look very promissing. I can't wait to see beter ones. no matter what they are in the wish list definitly now. how some of you can get details out of these pictures amazes me. When I enlarge them an Endor troopers head is just three pixels large in a blur of green. However the next stage waiting begins... go for the details!

It starts out with the right theme (Star Wars) then the subtheme (OT) and finally the cost (< €150) simple as that
-
Off course they should to this. The cheapest way of doing market research these days. In this community they only have to think about using one line in the suggestions (OT, PT, etc) to keep us from turning in a howling mob ranting about how everything sucks except .... (fill in personal favourit).

Lego announces line of digital cameras, PMPs, etc.
L-space replied to WhiteHexagon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think it is a smart way to expand the LEGO community. Outsourcing in this is a smart thing to do. Let someone else make it, check the quality and cash in on the franchise so they can invest in their core bussiness. This is actually is a common marketing tool. It can be done for more products as well like the t-shirts. In fact that will probably make it more "normal" to do something with LEGO and I won't have to explain myself three times when I say I still have LEGO for my own. Only two concerns: 1. Check the quality and products or it will reflect bad on other LEGO products; 2. Keep away from moaning AFOLS who are not the target audience PS: I hope you got the irony in 2. -
Thank you KimT for this clearification. And may I suggest to SNIP all messages containing price ranting. It will greatly improve the readibility of the threads and save me reading through 3 pages of frustration. Once again a big THANK YOU.

Theme Review: Orient Expedition
L-space replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
thanks for bringing attention to this fantastic theme . At this time my kids and I are rebuilding all the sets, to start playing the game next weekend. I can reccomend it to anyone, you never had more fun playing lego and even my wife is willing to participate . By the way there is an Orient Expedition fansite www.adventurers.dk (in English) with all the info on the entire Adventurers line. -
@ KimT: that is exactly the reason for me to try and change the original design. So grap your extra landing craft and start builiding @ Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?!: I have made some additional photo's: The ramp door in close-up, you can switch the slope and the curved piece but I like it better this way. Normally there is a gap if using this design. However by using this piece you can close it. I have used a contrasting colour for clarity. I hope that this answers your question.

Hello all. This is what I call my first "official" MOD; at least the first for which I did some research. Many comments by dunamis (found here) come straight from my heart and I have tried to adress some of them as well. I disagree on the cockpit degree/ slope however, only in one picture I found it level at the bottom, all others displayed it inclined. But here is the result of my work: To start of with a photo to set the scene. I added an extra roof section to accomedate the freight section. Unfortunately I cannot get it big enough just now the carry a speederbike. It carries 6 troopers comfortably (for military standards that is, and I now what I'm talking about) and some freight in the rear. It also show the two landing ramps for direct assault landings. Here you can see the landing ramp in action and my solution for the ramp door. And finally the cockpit and four lasercannons on the fuselage. Even for Imperial pilots the law is at the ready: "No parking here mister!" "But I'm with the Imperial Navy.." "Yeah, and my aunt's the emperor. Now pay up!" more at my Brickshelf folder here

#1 27. Capt. Kirk - Le Quartier Brique #2 2. DNL #3 36. Lord King of Everything - Die for the King! First of all, I saw a lot of great entries. However there can be only one winner: a lot of tiny scenes in a huge build. Great stuff

This was a no-brainer to me. One of the first characters to show up in the first movie. Allthough they are getting their a** kicked by the Stormtroopers.. The Rebel troopers of course. only a short moment in movie history but they set the tone for the rest of the trilogy. And since the CW doesn't work for me the choice was even easier.

Wow, for me this is the first likely mentioning of the Home One set. perhaps my extensive voting did pay of. However, the waiting for the pics now begins.....

Intertoys has Powerminers/City construction
L-space replied to highlandcattle's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Both lines have been seen in TRU as well. At least in Arnhem. Now waiting for the rest. -
Good idea to (finally) put together a survey. Lets hope they keep this up and give us the feedback from this one. But I think Cm will see to that

All I can say is that the CW fans must have had a good year with serious sets coming out. For me the OT BP's allready made my year and the Death Star was the grand finale. Unfortunately I cannot afford it, but I won't stop dreaming. Maybe one day......
