A carb you can tweek with a screwdriver, so that's an advantage. But remapping the ECU is simple as hooking it to a computer and press enter. I got one yeah, with modern day fuel emission standards you need one. I didn't get mine done yet. Still looking for the perfect exhausts and a Kuryakyn hypercharger.

The ECU is the Electronic Control Unit for the fuel injection. It delivers the right amount of fuel to the right cilinder at the right time. Its settings are normally set for a combination of exhaust and air intake. That is why it is important to 're-map' the ECU after changing one of the components. Yes, it is important; modern day fuel-injectors are sensitive, way more than carburators.
