  1. At this point and after reading the reviews from the guy that visited Lego Offices, I want to point out to all the comunity that this guy saw the next: BESIDES BATMAN, NEW VIKINGS, NEW KNIGHTS' KINGDOM, NEW EXO FORCE, SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS, JABBA'S SAIL BARGE AND THE OTHER NEW STUFF FROM 2006!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me shout this :-D C3 appears to be a toy company that has copied the Lego pieces but with very horrible products, even the Batman ones are just Megablocking hateful. *osborn*
  2. Definitively the best I have seen since the ones from the 90's (16 years later, guau :oD , well, at least the waiting has surprises) *minifig*
  3. The Math Club at school is about to import one of these!!!! Yeah :)
  4. The cargo one looks quite better than the last ones they've gotten out for sale in previous years. But I am really expectin to see the new Passenger one, at least I hope it's better than the High Speed Train from 2003. :D
  5. 1.- Complete the Vikings collection of my own as long as I have to import them cause here in Mexico aren't available. 2.- The same situation with the new city sets: the Airport, the Passenger Plane, the Hospital and the Fire Rescue HQ as long as I couldn't buy it in 2005. 3.- Of course, the new Knights' Kingdom Sets. 4.- Absolutely the Batman Sets. 5.- Perhaps the White Exo Force robot which name I have forgotten. 6.- Star Wars sets as many as I can! *shadowknight* *viki* *voldemort* *harry* *minifig*
  6. Very difficult to say since you've asked us to make a choice between different styles and historic representations. First, I won't exclude Vladek's Dark Fortress because it is indeed an excellent choice to vote for and it is the biggest of all 'em. Architectonically I voted for Dragon's Fortress because it's such a beautiful building...it features no a single <insert that tiresome argument> piece and it has plenty surprises as every Adventurers' set. Then we would have Eldorado since it is a classic one and it also features a beautiful design and story in its interiors. Finally, we got the Viking Fortress because of the story inside its gates and the amazing Fafnir dragon. Sorry for those who love Legoredo which I do not like because it is too north american : ). You shouldn't have included the Ninja one because it's just like the Harry Potter sets: a mega block wall standing only because it is lego : ) Johny Thunder, are you coming back for 2006?????????? *sing*
  7. As a knights' kingdom 2 fan, I am very happy to say that this 2006 sets look much much much better than the one's from 2.1 and 2.2 collections, in fact, I think we're now about to see real lego castles, real armour and a stronger history involving those sets. This is great, because now the old castle fans can't deny that this new line is the closest to an old castle style............awesome!!!!!11 :oo *harry*
  8. As long as many of you have voted for vikings, I want to talk about Knights' Kingdom 2.2, which have their very own fans and success, the sets are as playable as the vikings' and they have a historic background that makes them as loyal as the vikings'. In fact, I wanna say that 2005 has been the most productive year, the best ultimate sets come from this year!!!!! Star Wars, Harry Potter, City, and the previously mentioned, all deserve a crown (just like in Narnia).
  9. If the sets are only due to be released in U.S. they probably be also available in Latin America, so YEAH!!!!! This is great, jejejejeje *osborn* this time is our turn to have exclusive sets just as the Vikings this year, jeje *twisted*
  10. It seems to be a cute set, indeed. It is (as all the redesigned sets) much better than the first one, not only good looking but functional with an impressive amount of well chosen pieces. I am willing to have one :)
  11. Is it for real??? It has stickers of the 2003 City Collection and the box reads "La Ciudadela de Orlan" which is from the Knights' Kingdom City of Orlan........quite strange, isn't it???? 8-|
  12. Lovely, that's the only thing I oughta say *wacko*
  13. Thanks for reviewing this set, which is also extraordinary that we're not even on December and there are in a wild country far away from mine the Lego Sets 2006. Despite the gate, I also agree that the robots or mechas or however you may call them are excellent. Pitty, i'm not willing to buy them |:|
  14. How can you compare playmobil with Lego???? Come on, people, haven't you realize that the new airplane is a beautiful fusion between lego system scale and the duplo ones???? for me, it is a magnificent set and i am willing to buy it because of the functions, the minifigs, the new pieces, the turbines, the landing system and other functions that of course only having it you can realize of... *satis*
  15. Knights' Kingdom sets stand by themselves: they are clearly non typical castle sets, but they actually follow a universal language in the castle sets: evil vs good. Yes, I know that the story is sometimes even boring, but come on, the sets are amazing good sets, at least they look pretty cool on my shelves along with HP, City, Ferrari, Ninja, Rock Raiders, Adventurers I, II and III, Orient Expedition (Adventurers IV), Pirates and with the Star Wars ones. And they will look too very well along with the Batman sets and who knows what other themes are gonna be out the next year. Is foolish to live always stuck in a fashion: complaining about the new colors, sets and or pieces can be compared with those who are still living in the 70's and 80's, the same is for lego sets, you didn't expect to see always the same castle sets, they would become boring, and I am telling you this based on my experience, I am 26 years old and believe, to keep track of the lego sets all around the last 20 years hasn't been easy, so answering to others complains and agreeing with a lot more, Knights' Kingdom II are as good as every theme that has already passed to history, even if they are in a pre stablished line or they are a complete new one. :oD
  16. Such a shame they haven't posted images :(
  17. :oD GREAT!!!! I didn't expect to see this to be truth, but now I see it is!!!! Excellent, it seems as if Eurobricks have drunk Felix Felicis potion. May I be at Slytherin??? I wanna let those Death Eathers in Hogwarts!!!! *twisted*
  18. Well, here in Mexico, well...............we are "a little bit" :| .......you know, we don't get new stuff on tv until two or three years later the series or cartoons have been succesful whether in Europe or U.S.A., so I've been checking out the links some of you have posted from Avantar's fans and my conclusion is that if lego is going to make it in a system scale, it might be at the end a little wicked and basing me on this maybe Exoforce will be cooler....but if lego is going to make it in a scale like the Galidor sets, well, the youths will find it more atractive. The only thing that makes me want this sets in a system scale are the chinese buildings: after Orient Expedition sets we haven't seen greater ones (let's be honest, the ninja were good but not that good), so let's hope they build nice orient buildings!!!! and if not, pitty :| :oD
  19. As I said some time ago, I hope to see more and more super heroes, so, well, another villans' minifigs in the spiderman series will be welcome. And what's that of saying that there are no more Harry Potter sets???? Come on, in the press release, Warner said they will continue the licence with lego on hp!!!! Cross your fingers to see more goblet sets, or maybe to have a ministry of magic for movie 5 or the inferi minifigs for movie 6!!!!! There's still a lot to come :P
  20. System gets Batman when duplo gets Sponge Bob.............it is quite logical, don't you think??? But it will be awesome having a lego Pinneapple house with a long yellow brick with brown brick pants and tiny little lego hands..........whatever, it sounds great to me!!!!!!! *wub*
  21. Terrific news!!! Guau!!!! This is so great, for a long time I've been dreaming of a SuperHero Hype Theme and now Batman is just a hope to see the X-Men, Superman and other great superheroes even greater than our old friend spidey. Yeah!!!! This, Vikings, Knights' Kingdom, Harry Potter and Star Wars the next year: that would be awesome!!!! :P :) :-D
  22. Thanks a lot Bloody Jay!!!!!!!!! :')
  23. Awesome BloodyJay!!!! I didn't even consider buying these sets but now, I want'em!!!!! Can you please repost the images from Vladek s Dark Fortress???? |-D
  24. I don't think that there will be something out in the next 20 years at least which can replace the Lego bricks. I agree in the fact that maybe the plastic resources will be gone, so they would handle with other materials or sintetic stuff, but come on, it just can't be truth that in 7 years they are gonna be gone. I also think that there will be "smart" bricks or something more technological, but never be replaced for software, it's just like saying that we won't need any wood or stone to make buildings, because they will be made of softwares!!! come on, it's not the matrix we live in (or yes?? :'( )
  25. Just to agree with SuvieD opinion. Thanks for your attention *twisted*
