  1. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! These are great shields and armours!!!! I can't wait to buy the new ones (I mean, if I bought the first ones, and now after the Great Vladek's Fortress, these sets are a Must-buy ones) I agree that these represent how the line should had started back in 2004.......but, what the hell, these are great!!!! *knight*
  2. a) Flight to London: If, there's surely be a Harry, Ron or Hermione Minifig with somekind of tree and of course a thestral (a black horse with black wings or maybe trans!!!). b) Dudley Demented: Harry and Dudley against one and just one dementor in a tinny wall with a window or stg, and maybe as another one guy said before a trash can, of course a street lamp. No squibs included of course as the Lego tradition marks (less minifigs, the better). c) Forbidden Forest: somehow like the Cementery set from Goblet of Fire, this set would include a big tree, two little ones, Grawp or a Centaur and of course Umbridge and Harry with another cool featuring (no Hermione, it would not fit with the tradition *sad* ). d) Number 12, Grimmauld Place: of the very size of the Forbidden Forest, this set would be like the Shrieking Shack from Prisoner of Azkaban, but of course it would be a bigger "victorian" style house with a tiny kitchen, tiny rooms (2 and that would be a lot) and I don't know what other things. Including Sirius, Kreacher (it would be just too criminal if this house elf doesn't appear at the movie, by the moment it seems that it's gonna be!), a very fancy chimney, Sirius' Family tree of his mother's painting and we can't forget about our lovely and traditional Harry minifig... :-/ e) Ministry of Magic: Hoping this to be real and to be the really big one set of this so called 2007 collection, the Ministry of Magic should be like the Batcave: made of three or four main big sections. One featuring of course the fountain of Magic Union (or something like that, I can't recall its real name), another featuring a little corridor, other big one featuring a turning or something like that room with too many doors, another big section of course the Department of Misteries (only the Prophecies' Room One) and other little parts would be Offices, other parts of the Department of Misteries, etc. I also like the idea of one guy before of making this set just as the Light Saber Duel from ROTS SW sets..... Minifigs: two Deatheaters (of course the Malfoy one and another), Voldemort, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Dumbledore.........well, thinking of it, only one Deatheater......for keeping tradition on the HP sets of having few minifigs and all the same :-D Extras: I would love to see an Umbridge Classroom or a tiny room from Sant Mungo's. As long as some all-time scenarios are about to be rebuilt for this fifth movie, I don't want lego to make for example a Remake of Hagrid's Hut or Dumbledore's Office.....that would not be fair for anyone. :-)
  3. Well, here in Mexico the situation is likely the same as the guy who make this poll, but the difference is that there are only two ways you can find Lego sets: in a toy store called "Happy Toys" or at department stores. In both the Lego Sets are freaking expensive (almost three times they real price at U. S.) and Lego Mexico S. A. de C. V. (which is the representative corporation in the country) only imports Harry Potter, Bionicle and Star Wars sets, but only the medium ones....this is very disapointing *sing* How do I get the Vikings, City, KK, Star Wars BIG sets, Exo Force, Orient and Adventurers, and so many other wonderful ones??? The answear is easy: friends who travel to U. S. and Ebay!!!!!!
  4. Thanks TT, I didn't know that :-D part of the story!! Answering to Mr Phes, there were several like "It seems like photos from Nuremberg", "2006 sets", "New KK2 sets", etc, etc, there were many indeed, but I have to admit that you were right saying that there was no special post for them. Anyway, they are the closest thing to a Classic Castle theme (Vladek's Dark Fortress is not that Classic but it is the greatest of this line) and the Battle at the Pass soldiers are just lovely *wub*
  5. We have already seen this pic before, but anyway it shows the playability and the well designed sets that are coming late this 2006. The only question here is Which is the function of the "Battle at the Pass" set in this year's new story line? There's a pic from the Nuremberg Toyfair in which this set can be seen in front of the Mistlands' Tower, but basicly to this moment we still don't know exactly what it is about. *wacko*
  6. Definitely I will be supporting the Knights' Kingdom and Vikings ones as long as they're the closest things we will see to historical sets. Besides that, I think that this year the winners are the licensed ones: Star Wars, Spongebob and of course, Batman. I love'em all!!!!!!
  7. Thanks a lot for the guy who first posted the links for the Toy Fair NYC Coverage!!! But judging them, I can say that the best photos are from FBTB's link (these guys are really good at covering this event every year), and there you can see more details from the Krusty Krab, Spongebob's House, Squidward's House (spoiler, a very disapointing one), Exo Force, Avatar (also featuring the back side of the Air Temple) and Knights' Kingdom new minifigs and features. Thanks a lot, again
  8. Thrilling news!!! Hoping to see Clone Wars Sets!!!!! yeah!
  9. 1) This is the first time that I have to admitt that Playmobil has made something better than Lego: Roman Empire Sets!!!!! Wow, Lego YOU NEED TO IMPROVE ON THAT FOR 2007! You won last years' recognize because of the KK and Vikings sets, don't you loose your crown! 2) Talking about KK and Vikings, both lines have been once more reinvented: YEAH! this is awesome! Look at the new helmets for the KK2.3 at Battle at Pass, guau, they're magnificent!! Not only that, but they seem to have a very high level of playability, the colors, the pieces, the minifigs, for sure the story line must be better than the one for 2.1 and 2.2 And Vikings, well, I thought there were small sets, but now I can see how huge they are!!!!! And as Baron said, maybe they're preparing to battle KK or ..........come on, we need a Classic Theme like Playmobil has developed it!!! 3) Batman and Star Wars: My gosh, other two superb lines for this year. The villains look terrific, even quite better than Batman itself. I love that pussycat motorcycle!!! 4) Another excellent set: the Technic Trailer Guau, look at that motor system. Absolutely another very good year for lego...............except of course because of the Roman Playmobil
  10. Saving up to get this as soon as they're out in US!!!!!!! (except UCS) but Squidward.......oh........well, the rest is great: Great MF'S (look at little Gary the snail), terrific colors!!! (orange, what it seems like new green, pink-transparent chef hats, etc), a mini restaurant with the Krusty Krab, burguers, a pinneaple under the sea and a Eastern Island Head!!!!!! Yeah!
  11. Far better pics than the first ones, but I still don't get by any chance excited about this........at least not the way I am with Spongebob or Batman......there are lots and lots of pieces which is an advantage, but I won't get any...definitely  Better save for Spongebob, Batman, Star Wars, Knights' Kingdom and Vikings........uhm, they're already a lot...thanks but no Avatar this time
  12. Bring it on the System Scale sets' pics!!!!!!!!
  13. Well. I've just entered and seen all the things you've posted (pics and prices) and I think that the Avatar sets....well....sucks, I don't like them!!! Are horrible, the designers kind of forgot to apply some details and styles, but well, I don't care, I'm not planning to get them. Then, SPONGEBOB!!!! oh my, Bikini Bottom looks great and the Krusty Krab is far far better than I expected...the UCS, well, I will be waiting for better pics. And the minifigs in those sets are weird, jeje, Squidward the most. The only thing that I liked from Avatar are exactly, the minifigs. Spongebob, come!!!
  14. Much better than I expected!!!!!! It is a pleasure to know that the final mf design is just like a lego one: short legs and kind of R2D2 design (you know, R2D2 has its own "body piece", and now Sponge Bob has one). The bed looks awesome and well, just wait to see new images. And finally TLC gives EB an exclusive, yeah! :-D
  15. Great!!! the KK2.3 line looks excellent!! Yeah, but I disagree with the other fellows' comments, because I think that every year the line has renewed it style. From the moment I knew that there was gonna be a continuation for 2005's sets, I tried to understand how difficult it would be to throw out of the throne the Vladek's Dark Fortress as the best set from the entire line. But hopefully (as it seems in the very very little pick at the link) Battle at Pass is gonna be terrific and maybe we can discuss later on which set is better. Anyway, could someone tell the owner of this folder to make public the images from bionicle to KK? Talking about the other sets: Bionicle ones looks attractive in their new tubes!! Passenger train RC is ....well, I was expecting something much better as long as I think that the last worth-train was the 4561 from 2000. On the other hand, Cargo train RC looks great with that crane on it! Make public the kk pics!!! *sing* |-D
  16. Can't wait for Vikings and Knights' Kingdom!!! But, there's a question: where are the Batman, Sponge Bob and Avatar sets???? Can't wait too for pics from UK Toy Fair 2006, which by now is opened only till tomorrow!!!! Post some pics, european guys!! :-D
  17. Yepeey!!!!!!!!!!! You really make my day!!!! This news are absolutely lovely and promising: a viking army and a new dragon?
  18. As long as I know that out there are so many castle and sw fans, I voted for Adventures because there's a strong back story in those sets, the detail level is enormous, the culture is present in each set of these, Johny Thunder and the other minifigs and villians are great, there have been out Pyramids, Sphinx, kind of Mayan Temple, a strange hq for dinos, a little Taj Mahal, an awesome Tibetarian Temple, a beautiful chinese Fortress/Palace, lots of vehicles, lots of wild animals and.....come on, you have to be honest, it deserves a place with the Castle and the SW ones. Long Live for Adventures and Johny Thunder!!!!!!!!! *viki* *shadowknight* *knight* *voldemort* *osborn* *wub* *satis*
  19. Ambassadors who have seen the sets: thanks for sharing descriptions of what you see with the EB Community *satis* Batman Sets MEGABLOCKING AWESOME!!!!! Money.....megablocking empty moneybags.....
  20. Thanks for the info Raydeen. I live in Mexico and, well, you see, nothing gets here and I had never before known of the existence of such magazine, but now I can make sense. Thanks |-D
  21. Like during Duel Darth Vader says :oD Impressive!!!!!!! *wacko* The minifigs are awesomely terrific and I think that the bat vehicles didn't looked that good in the photos, so let's wait, because the batmobile in the first pic posted here looked amazing and now for the toy fair didn't, which is of course, strange... Anyway, Didn't someone say that the Toy Fair would be in London on January 23rd??? Also, for those who blame FBTB.net for not being in a Toy Fair that hasn't happenned yet, let me tell you that the guys there always review the one from New York, which is until February, and if I am wrong, please correct me :P Now, let's hope that money last for Batman... :')
  22. Megablocking Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks terrific, and besides it is indeed from the movie Batman 3!!! Yeah :oD
  23. As everyone in here, I shall thank Yoda for this great reviews he does. Congratulations!!!! 1.- It is true that the older airports were made of bricks and that the one from this year is made more of structures and <insert that tiresome argument> pieces than ever, but I want to point out the fact that this set looks realistic, very very very realistic. Nowadays the airports are constructed but nothing more than big metal structures and even bigger glass walls. So I am really happy with this building, because of all the functions and details that it features and the plane is just astonishing, it is great. And for those who complain about the wings, let me tell you that them look terrific with this set!!! A little actualization doesn't affect anyone. 2.- Only 5 minifigs??????? Come on, TLC has been reducing the number of minifigs in the City sets every year!!!!!! That's not fair in anyway!!!! Also, What about the girls????? Are the Lego Cities becoming gay (with all the respect, this is only an opinion)????? At least one pretty airport girl wouldn't harm anyone!!! 3.- I can't wait to buy it!!!!!!!! :')
  24. You know, looking at this pic makes me feel as if I was sucking a lemon: first I feel really happy because of the advance that this beloved line to me is showing with this set (excellent king Jayko, impressive shields -the ages one!!!!-, best Vladek minifig, lovely catapult, grey pieces!!!!, new knights, the dragon heads, etc:) but then, second, I feel kind of disapointed because I have really defended too much this line and the truth is that it looks very very <insert that tiresome argument>. It looks like the duplo sets except for the uses of little system bricks from time to time, but....come on......after the greatest castle that Vladek's Fortress was, I mean :'( :( *sing* and the stickers!!!! megablocking stickers........ :/ ..........and then I look at it again and my mind says "buy it, buy it"....oh my. Well, let's hope there are more than three sets out for this line. Just like Padme Amidala says before she dies........A New Hope
  25. Reideen, I know it's a deal that you have, but Do you mind of sharing with the Fol's out here at Eurobricks a little bit of the other licenses and products that were shown??? You also said something about the Star Destroyer and Jabba's Sail Barge, but we also wanna know how is Sponge Bob (is it from system or duplo??), what about Avatar (does it worth anything??), or maybe how many Knights' Kingdom sets were there or Vikings'....what about the lovely Vikings...whatever please, I beg you :') :'( |-D
