Stats and inventory look correct. Hi there, mind if I join you for a drink?

Torald bursts into Gnomeo's toolshed and buys a shovel and pickaxe. He pays 30 gold (286-30=256 gold) Bye, and have a nice day!
-
Allright, time to go! Torald makes sure all his equipment is in his bag and walks out of the Hall.
-
Thanks! Well, if I didn't have fun building, I wouldn't do it

My parents introduced me to it, when I was like 2 or so, with Duplo. Later some city sets, and after that everything got out of control with some Star Wars, but mostly Castle sets. Now my entire room is filled with Lego.

Good to hear that you all like it!

So, I decided to change a couple of things in the rockwork, and I think it looks better this way. And a picture from the side, showing some slopes facing the other way. That's the progress so far, once again I hope you like it!

Torald wakes up and yawns so hard his jaws pop. He looks around him and sees people around the quest board. He walks over and scribbles his name, once again barely readable, on the quest. Torald signs up for quest #152. Ready to help some lovebirds. Torald grins, thinking about past loves (and rejections) and walks back to his table.

O, allright. Then the only thing I can do is wait.
-
Allright, thanks! I can make some changes to the existing part, to indeed turn some slopes around. And use some normal bricks. As for the inside, yeah I know, but I'm not going to use those bricks anywhere else (as far as I know now). But further support is going to be other bricks. Thanks again, some really useful tips there!

Hello everyone, I'm making a kinda large Diorama at the moment. It's going to be 4 48x48 baseplates big (for now, I might make it bigger when this is done). I don't have a lot of experience with making large MOCs, so any help is appreciated. For now I'm working on 2 of the baseplates to make a sort of mountain/cliff area, with either a watchtower or fortified barracks on top, not sure yet. But as of now, I don't have a lot. I'm going to post updates here, not regularly because it's probably going to take a few years to finish (I need to save up for a long time if I want to buy new bricks, so yeah). Anyway, here is the start: Here is some rockwork, I am happy with how it looks. And here is how everything is supported. It is pretty sturdy. But if you guys have tips/ideas on how to make this better, I'd be more then happy to hear them! And this is the 2 baseplates I was talking about. The black minifigbases are where the path is going, just as a reminder. Anyway, hope you like it so far, and I hope it's interesting to watch an average MOCer build something this big

Any news of a new quest? I've been sitting in the Hall for too long, and I am tired of doing nothing. I don't mean this in a bad way or something, I know you have jobs and other things in real life too, and organizing a quest takes a lot of time.

Really like that Saracen warrior, and the Dark Elf! Overall a nice series, and hopefully TLG will listen to you and make it!

Other then the gun being a tad too short, it looks amazing! Really like the side-skirtsy parts, and the turret shape. Very nice!

Looks great!! Very interested to see what you have next! -
I'm no expert on Maxifigs/Mecha things, but I'd say this looks pretty damn good! Nice work! You really nailed the details! Awesome!

Torald wanders to the Quest board. He looks at it and mumbles: Still no new quest... nobody needs help... everything seems quiet, maybe a bit too quiet?
-
If you could only keep one MOC/set, what would it be?
Alfadas replied to Diesel Lover's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Tough choice... either 7018 or 7019, the Viking ship and Fortress, resp. Can't really choose between them, I have so many good memories of those sets, so it's got to be either of those. -

Ooh, Nice!!! Thanks a lot! I really like it!

My birthday was a couple of days ago, and I got a lot of non-Starwarsy lego bricks, but my lil sis bought me a 75079, the Shadow Troopers battlepack. nice little build and very cool minifigs!
-
That looks nice! Could you do mine too? Would be awesome as a background on my phone or something

Torald quietly watches as the 4 women walk in the Hall. His eyes quickly go over all 4, but stay a bit longer on the girl with the dark aura. Interesting... He mumbles to himself, downing a pint of ale.

Wow, nice summary, SK! You really improved a lot during those 5 years, to make you one of the best (to me, the best) MOCers out there. Keep up the great work! So far, my favourite MOC you made, is the Avalonian Civil War landscape. It's so beautiful! Just look at the details. The ruins on top of the hill, the hill itself, just Wow. anyway, I just received a nice amount of bricks, so MOCs are incoming. First the Flickr challenge/contest/thingamacbobber and then some more AoM.
