Couple of quests, yeah. Nothing too amazing, made a couple of friends. You know Ezeran, a powerful mage with a, well, monster on his belly? He is my closest friend here. But anyway, Torald raises his mead, to fame, glory and friends! He drinks it in one big gulp. So, what about you?

Thank you!

I, ofcourse, missed the pictures of the sets. So, if anyone wants to PM them to me, I'd be very grateful. That way I might participate in this lovely conversation, that is always on topic Edit: if that's allowed ofcourse, don't want to get anyone in trouble.

21% in The Netherlands, if I'm not mistaken. Could also be less, but here the taxes are included in the price. Recently bought some of the battlepacks

Nice to meet you, Keliim. The name is Torald, been here for a couple of months. I thought you knew already, overhearing my little conversation with Miss Anavir. Torald grabs one of the mugs and chugs it down. He closes his eyes. This is the good stuff. With those words, he grabs another mug, this time taking a small sip and enjoying the taste.

That might be a good idea. Drinking is better suited for me then trying to make an attempt at flirting. To Miss Anavir he says: I'm not going to bother you any longer, if you think I'm too pushy. If you change your mind about searching dragons, let me know. Right, let's see who is the better drinker! Torald looks at the man with a question on his face. And what is your name, good sir?

Very well. Then how about you show me that library?

Sorry to hear that. But you do make a terrific hero, right? Maybe you were destined to become a hero and do great deeds that way. He stops a moment. Dragons, yes. I once saw one, but it was very far away. Still, it's shadow blocked out the sun completely. It's mighty roar shattered my ears, even though I was miles away from it. But a real, beautiful dragon, I'd love to see one up close. Not to fight it. One swipe with it's paw or tail and we are goners. No, to admire it, maybe befriend it. What do you say, as there are no quests at the moment, we head out and travel until we find a dragon?

From the North, somewhere. Tiny tribes that traveled around, walking miles a day, just to keep up with the animals we hunted. You know, Giant Rabbits and the like, very dangerous. But most of the tribe fell victim of a rather nasty disease, which, somehow, spared me. Some old Gods up there probably decided that I had more to do here. Anyway, as there was only me left, I decided to leave the North and after a long journey South, I stumbled upon this place. He looks around. And I quite like it here. So, I would love to visit the library and learn to read properly. Because as of right now, my reading skills are very bad. But enough about me, tell me something about you, Miss Anavir. Beautiful name, if I may say.

What's this Library-thing you keep talking about? Where I grew up, nobody ever mentioned a place named like that. So, is it a nice place? O, I'm Torald Waruelf, but call me Torald. I don't think we have been properly introduced, have we?

Good luck out there, everyone. Especially you, Ezeran. You don't have me backing you up now. Torald jokes, but deep inside it hurts to see his friend leave without him. I'll be waiting for you with a nice mulled wine. He raises his pint and watches everyone leave.

Thanks!

Just an 8x8 Vignette, for the Flickr Summer Joust contest. I made a simple base with a small battle scene on it. Not really a story, but it's a viking woman ambushing a soldier of the Empire of Evilness. Hope you like it, C&C welcome!

Alright, nice to meet you, Blizzard. My name is Torald Waruelf. I'm from the north myself, but probably not as far north as you. Care to join me for my favourite hobby? First drink's on me.

Torald watches as Tim leaves the Hall. He empties his pint. He looks up when the door opens again, and a fluffy-looking shape walks in. Who are you? And more importantly, what are you?

The photo's look absolutely fine! The MOC itself got a nice look too it. Great work!

The swallowing is only something I have read a while ago, don't even remember where. But I guess you are right, it doesn't really make sense to only make one part with airholes in it, and the dozens of other parts without.
-
Torald, tired doing nothing in the Hall, decides to go for a walk. Whilst walking to the door, he notices a new quest. Torald scribbles his name (or something that vaguely looks like it) on the paper. Torald signs up for Quest#151.

As for the legs, I can't really help you. For the head, it is most likely an authentic Lego piece. For about 1-2 years (not really sure) Lego has been making Lego heads with the Logo on top, without holes in them. Older figs have some sort of Mercedes logo in their head, the 3 way star. That is, if a child swallows it, he/she can still breath a bit. Hope this helped!

Very nice work! Lots of nice details. Really like the roof.

Mostly working in LDD for the Guild Creation on Flickr, so not much time for Mitgardia... But once I order more bricks and the Flickr competition is over, I'll be building AoM again! Still need some civilian buildings... -
And the random acts of niceness to others? That's kinda heroic... But I guess you are right. Nothing better then a big pile of treasure.

Torald raises his glass. Right, no such thing as a hero? Explain yourself?

Torald pockets the 10 gold and hands Goliath the Spear. Use it well, big guy. Torald now has 10 extra gold (276+10=286) and no more spear.
