  1. Some I save. Others I picture and then disassemble. Others I keep for a spell and then take pictures and disassemble. It just depends I guess. No real rhyme or reason to my madness.
  2. Love Demotivational Posters, well done.
  3. Great review. I have two of these, no clue on where I got them but I have keep them in their original condition because they are fun to have on display. Great set for the price.
  4. Wonderful additions and use of space. Well done! The flow of the city is coming together nicely.
  5. Well done. I believe you nailed the look of the Porsche very closely. Adding the Sachs sponsorship is the perfect touch to the car. Without it I don't think you would pull it off so well. Again, well done!
  6. Give it time, took about 3 weeks before I got a beta key. Aside from that. Testing today, yes, remember, we are testing so I hope people are looking for faults and sending the messages to the builders. Just choose that little option in the lower right corner and send them a message every time you see or have a bug. Not to harp but just reminding....I let my two kids play off and on with their own characters and it was interesting to watch them catch on quickly but hit spots that were hard to play through. Even as a AFOL playing a game intended for kids it is enjoyable. I can see myself spending a few hours a week just enjoying the game.
  7. Nice City! As for your large harbor area might you try a few large warehouses, a guard shack, fences, make it a secure harbor area? Then you could slip some mobsters in one warehouse for the cops to mess with..
  8. Pleasantly surprised to see I got a key in my email box this morning Thank you, Lego, I'll be enjoying the game this evening.
  9. Thanks. E30?..I should be able to. I have one myself I am fixing up, a '90. In Red. Might be a little tougher to do, may need some slope parts. Thanks
  10. Thanks! and yes, that would be a cool idea to try on a MOC . Thanks, I think I've seen those replica spoilers before, saving up my pennies and dimes. Hard to have two hobbies I like so much. They compete for funding. Thank you, and thanks for the suggestions. I do appreciate them. I may try updating it in the future!
  11. Thank you both!
  12. Thank you, more power will likely be added. It has already been blown up a few times from lack of fire power
  13. The 2012 apocalypse in the Lego world would be rip-off figs taking over. That would be Doomsday enough for me.
  14. The '82 BMW 320i was in the E21 family of BMW 3 series cars from 1975 (1977 in the USA) through 1983. This MOC is one of my personal E21 that I Autocross/Solo1 and also daily drive! The front lower spoiler, rear spoiler and yellowed inner headlights are items I hope to add in the future to my actual Bimmer. My real life Bimmer Inspiration and Thanks for this MOC is credited to daxolesa and his wonderful Datsun 510 I feel in love with in the LugNut groups photo stream which can be seen here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dax-olesa/433...in/pool-lugnuts I used many of his techniques for my BMW and I thank him for the inspiration and photos of his MOC.
  15. I love it. Well done. It caught me off guard at first and I thought "what the *&^% is that cheap knock off.......oh.....clever"
  16. Well Done, side by side they are a excellent pair of displays. Two important scenes in the movies (IMO).
  17. I keep looking at it and it still draws me in, such a good job reenacting the scene. Well done!
  18. Search flickr, like the LugNuts group. There are times you can see some instructions or the builder will show extra shots that can show you technique. It is a place I get ideas from.
  19. I like it. Small piece count but you know instantly what everything is and for. Good display. I like the back packs off the sides. Nice touch to the dozer.
  20. Thanks, my thoughts also. I like variety in life, even with my Lego! No worries, I appreciate the comments if someone likes it or dislikes it. If it makes someone else ( or even me) a better MOC'er then cool!
  21. Thanks. No worries on disliking the greens. It wasn't my first choice but I powered through. Thanks. I hope my putting up "lesser" builds compared to those MOC'ed and Indexed will inspire more to put up their works. I know my MOC's are up to par to a majority here but doing so makes me want to build better MOC's when people send me tips and techniques I should try. That was my justification for using it. Hey, who wouldn't want a spacious view of space in their ship :) Cool ideas, I'll probably incorporate them into he ship, if it lasts the month. It has already crash landed a few times :)
  22. Thanks! It was just a matter of only having Grey for the slope pieces and rear engines so I went with it. It does, I wish I had more black for it. I think a totally blacked out ship would look really good. Thanks. It was a matter of pieces. So the dark in the black and light in the front was the choice to make. I guess the bley grey isn't a popular choice for sets? We seem to have everyone fighting over trying to call it theirs. At the moment Vader is carpet bombing some droids......if that makes any sense.....it does to a 7 year old so I'll go with it. It is old and new grey and it was a only choice. I had never seen a Black A-Wing so I thought it was worth a shot to do. Since I had the pieces in that color I guess you can see the rest.
  23. My brother picked up Home One #7754 this week and it is a fantastic set. I'll hopefully get one soon but until then I had to build a A-Wing based off the Set. The parts are very common, Only one odd part I have never seen and that was the flight control slopped computer terminal. On my MOC I changed the side curves that go from the front to the mid section, mine are kicked out one stud and one long single wing. I also didn't have grey slopes that were four studs long so I went with a odd slope there. The two guns on the side are different also, not that I didn't have the pieces, I just wanted to change it up some. The Rear engine is also changed up, bigger means better, right? Wonderful ship and a great addition on the Home One set.
  24. Thank you. Yes, wish my color choices were better. I tried to stay a Grey and Black which is predominate in Star Wars ships. My first MOC with the Red didn't seem to fit as well as I thought it would. Thanks! The rear engines are from a pair of #7672 Rogue Shadow's I have. I try to build the MOC's so they are usable for my two Sons. I'll sacrifice beauty and design for dependability and strength. So far it has held up well to their BrikWars.
  25. Col. Brik's "Old Eagle" is a small freighter built before long the Falcon was produced by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. It's design is smaller than many YT class ships and was a limited production run with many being scraped due to their small size. A Hyperdrive is equipped but normal travel was slow and methodical. Not equipped for heavy combat it does have a average offensive capability with two Ion Cannons at the front and three smaller Ion Cannons on turrets at the top. Defensive shields are present but would not hold up to a sustained attack. The interior houses a Engineers control room in the center of the ship where all the ship can be monitored at once. Next to the pilots cockpit is the weapon controls system with the ability of those seated to see above the ship during flight. Three areas of the ship can be used for transporting goods and equipment. The Cockpit has a single pilot seat and a navigation seat behind the pilot. I built the tops to be easily removable for the kids, they keep them off when they are playing with it and then when it is stationary (which isn't often) I put the panels back on. The interior is sparse. I had hoped I had one more solid curved panel but did not so the green panel was put in place. Not sure how it makes the ship look. Opinions, Comments and Questions are always welcome! Thanks for looking! All comments and questions welcome!
