TheBrickFan got the list from "BlackTiger13 on Eurobricks" so the second source is the same as the first one which is just someone who made it all up, we going around in circles, move alone people nothing to see here.

Hi all I was just wondering if anyone had any good techniques for putting on capes when there is a large head piece, the ones I am thinking of are: Haldir, Saruman, Gandalf with hair, Gandalf the White and Elrond. Because the cape is made to come away from the body when the large hair piece goes on it squashes the cape, is there any way to keep the cape in good condition or at leat to make it look good when on. I think Lego really need to make a different cape that fits flush against the body for figures like these, one of the dwarf has a cape with just one hole and this means it does fit well even with the hair.

^ one big set could work out better then 2 or 3 smaller ones as we might get a nice build that way but what we really need is as many figs as we can get

^ orthanc is not half missing more like 1/3-1/4 but I get your point and it could be a good idea although I would not like to have to explain to my wife why I am buying two of the same £100+ sets.

If the last wave of LOTR was the LAST wave then do you think we would have got the sets we got.

It is true that when I see these sets that are ok but not helms deep I buy them thinking that at least they are adding to the bricks I have to one day build something great. I also get superhero sets and the part are not as usefully so I only get the cheaper sets. Overall I think we do well with out LOTR/Hobbit sets.

When I used to have Technic there was much more consistency of size and scale because you had the Technic seats and figs that were a set size and although you didn't get many sets with Technic figs in you did get them all with the same size seats. I do miss the Technic figs -
good idea but would you have half a gate, tree and other important things?

would people be happy with another wave without any gondor? I would as it would give us all the other sets we need and then there would have to be a 4th wave

I really wanted Smaug, Beorn in bear form, witch king or necromancer (know we wound not get both), radagast and Armored Elves so didn't work out to well with only radagast being good

Luckily I wasn't trying to ingratiate myself with you I was just trying to say in my own way thanks for moderating as I felt it was needed. I made the point that it is coming from someone who does not like over moderating to make it more meaningful. I agree with all of this, some very good points I do kind of like the hooded elves more than I thought I would, they look nice and could be used for a number of things as they don't have to be elves. I was thinking if you got another hood and put the plan brown elf ears on Thranduil that could work as a normal elf soldier. a new print would have been great If you look I edited this before I posted it

Professor Flitwick what can I say you quoted the west wing so you must have good taste (best show ever, although sadly I cant see lego making it even if they did make a set from the outside of the set) Is there any evidence that Lego have ever not made a set because of fear people might managed to find religious symmetry in it. In fact I would say harry potter shows they don't mind. Gandalf Arrives and more so Riddles of the ring didn't do too well and we have not seen a £12 set for the new hobbit wave so maybe Lego no longer want to give us those small sets with little action. and as you say post hoc ergo propter hoc, Previous waves do not dictate what will and won't be in a later wave. Boromir and Lurtz are important but not the main men and we are still missing people we need first + its a little dark with Boromir getting killed and all This is my point, why not then call him Treebeard unless you plan on making a set

my guess would be same price as, Shelob Attacks, Uruk-Hai Army, Attack On Weathertop and The Mines of Moria as they are the same price as those sets in £.

^ The devil was my guess but he is not the devil he is killed and as a overtly religious person I don't see the problem and it would make a great set I really want an old bilbo too although he would work well as an exclusive, do you think we will get a book? maybe after the final wave.

yeah we get the two extra figures (the statue and the skeleton) but they are kind of needed as this is the biggest set without a new big mold, horse, warg, troll.edit: apart from the ship but it did come with 9 figs

Thanks I am not usually a fan of moderation but we have just got the Pictures for the new sets and have lots to talk about. If people want to talk about if that set list is real or not fine but lets not mix it with real news. When do we think we will see the instructions for these sets to see if there is any news on 20** (sorry had to blank out the year or ZCerberus might tell me off ) Some people get the sets sent to them early to review right? Also I don't know what it is but I really like the statue and count it as another minifig in that set

Im just hoping for a new spiderman, we have so many batmans and it looks like spiderman is getting some love with the number of sets just hope he is new, even if its not great it would be better than the same fig again.
