I agree, new releases are all fine and well, but I'm mostly interested in the discounted sets people find in stores/ads. When I read the title to the thread, that's what I expect. So maybe if this type of find isn't allowed in the thread the title should be changed to something along the lines of "Newly Released Set Availability".

Just got my "Royal Guard" magnet set from S@H yesterday with Boba, Leia, and a Royal Guard. Anyone else seem to notice a difference in quality? For some reason it seems to me these figs are made more cheaply with a slightly different plastic or something. I can't put my finger on it, but something seems to be different....oh well, great figs for the price, so it's hard to complain much.

Not available for me as well, though at that price think I'd skip anyways.

That ewok has some bad aim and a very powerful shot...never knew an arrow could decapitate someone! Nice work, love the interior.

As I said, they may have designed it with the same width as the current drawbridge in KCS so that it could be easily interchanged; although by looking at the pictures, the stand alone drawbridge looks a little wider, so who knows.

The troll fortress is too expensive for my tastes, so I'll probably wait for it to go on sale like King's Castle Siege was this year. The only ones I'll most likely get are the Drawbridge and possibly the Chariot. Was there ever any mention of the drawbridge being able to connect to the castle? At first I thought it might fit by switching out the current drawbridge with it, but the BURP's on each side might make it too wide...

Thanks Commander Cody; I dunno, the Clone Wars heads don't look right to me with their oversized eyes. I wouldn't mind if they were all CW style, but I don't like mixing one and the other and since I have more regular heads that's what I went with.

Alright don't laugh guys, but here is my modest collection: It's currently located on the top of my dresser drawer in my room back home. I have a couple sets displayed in my apartment as well but nothing too big. I have some generic Jedi thrown in with my Clone army too (...is that Indiana Jones? ). What do you think of my non-CW Anakin? I didn't want to use any CW faces (don't care for them besides Ahsoka), so I ended up using Mutt's face along with Anakin's robes and hair.

Poor cows already got a chunk missing... Very funny and unique concept, I'd love to see the finished product.

It would have been nice if they updated it with Crownies/Skellies, but then it wouldn't have matched much I guess. The stickers are a turn off, so I probably won't get it. This is an interesting trend though, maybe they'll do this type of re-release for other sets as well.

The Star Wars clone walker battle packs come with 2 or 3 (can't remember) dark red 1x2 tiles. I'm sure you could buy several of those sets, sell off the figs and have the extra pieces from the walker for practically free. Just a thought if you are into the whole buying/reselling thing.

Nope, looks like plain white to me.

One more mystery I hope someone can solve. I have this head in black: Anyone know what set it comes from? I've tried checking Peeron, but that particular head in black doesn't come up, and as far as I can tell there isn't a number on minifig heads you can input into a database.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I'd really hoped to get this thing off the ground quicker, but school is taking up waaay to much of my time (that's what I get for majoring in engineering I guess). I'll try to narrow down the names soon...anyone else in the mood for some MOC building? I could always write a story and someone else could build for me, since my collection isn't that big to begin with. The torsos and whatnot for the figs aren't that rare so it shouldn't be hard to recreate them.

Looks like a red kepi to me, though that could just be my eyes deceiving me.

I seriously don't understand why my local Walmarts/Targets don't discount more than other stores do. I check every week, and it's always the discount price that is hardly a discount. Oh well, guess I'll keep on checking.
