There's a few teams in MLS that have them, though they aren't your typical cheerleaders like this minifig. They're more just for show and I guess halftime entertainment.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I appreciate it! Slight update to the pig; while I was looking at it more closely today, I noticed this slight abnormality: Can anyone with a pig confirm that this is standard on all of them? It looks like the plastic doesn't quite match up on his front leg, though that may be cut out so as not to impede on the stud next to it. It's hard to tell when it's resting on a plate if that particular "chip" would in fact overlap with the stud.

Well, my local TRU didn't have the minifigs, though they did have the new Kingdoms line. For anyone who has purchased them at an American TRU, where were they located? And I'm sure this has been answered before somewhere, but the selling price for these is $1.99 USD correct? -
I agree with tiger, looks great out in nature, almost like it belongs. One question about the battle packs...did you notice any difference in quality from those figs as opposed to the figs in the actual King's Castle set?
-
Bought two of the new summer impulse sets from TRU yesterday; although they had most of them for purchase, I only picked up the Wizard from the Kingdoms line and the Farmer from the City line because they had of course raised the price from the MSRP.

Indexed I searched around a bit in the forums but couldn't find a review of the summer 2010 City impulse, so without further ado I present to you the aptly named Farmer! Set Number: 7566 Name: Farmer Theme: City Year of Release: 2010 Pieces: 16 Minifigs: ~1.5 Price: $3.49 USD ($4.49 at TRU however ) Part 1: The Box Let's start out with a few pics of the box... Nothing too exciting here, just your standard pets cohabiting in the outskirts of town, eating green apples and tomatoes (that's what I'm interpreting them as at least ). Part Two: The Goods The contents of the sealed bag, unfortunately not numbered... And a random page of the instruction manual... Part Three: The Build After many strenuous hours of building... And of course the extra pieces... Part Four: The Conclusion I'm not gonna lie, I got this set for one reason: the pig(let?). It's definitely the cheapest way to pick up some soon-to-be-bacon, and the Farmer is a fairly detailed minifig with back printing and a cheesy smile. One thing to add here is that the cap is of the new mold (are they all nowadays?). It's my first of the new mold, and while I like that it's slightly bent and doesn't cover the eyes when worn in reverse, my particular hat was a bit loose on the farmer's head (wiggles back and forth). Not sure if this problem is one that all of the new caps encounter or if it's just mine, but it is slightly annoying not for it to fit snug on the the head. Other than that the feeding trough is merely extra pieces for me, and I've collected enough dogs over the years to open a kennel that I feel the dog isn't worth mentioning much. Since this is an impulse, I'll just give it an overall score of 4/5 corn cobs. Without the pig this would have scored much lower, but I'm a sucker for these little guys and plan on picking up a few more in the future (most likely Bricklink though, not sure what I would do with an army of farmers). NOTE: This is my first review, so any helpful criticism and tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Yeah, the whole literal cork thing was a little too much for me. So was the universe of the flashsideways purgatory so to speak? That whole thing is still a little nebulous to me.

One of my favorite sets from the olden days, too bad I didn't have enough money to buy it. Great review, and I agree with you that the minifigs make this set awesome. The actual set is decent, but when combined with the minifigs it puts it over the edge (but that may just be my love for all things Forestmen talking )
-
I sure hope they adopted that kid, or maybe she's been messing around. It's a minor gripe, but I would have liked the hair colors to somewhat logically match up. The actual set looks good for the price, though it doesn't have the feel of a traditional house to me (which is good I guess after all these other "real" houses have come out).

Agreed, I'm blown away. LOST starts with an eye opening and ends with the closing, simply poetic. I love how they managed to work in the message of faith without actually saying "they all go to heaven" or "Christianity is the best!"; even the stained glass window in the church encompassed all different types of faith. And how about Vincent, any guesses to what he symbolizes. One thing I'm murky about...I'm assuming the last shots during the credits was the remains of the Ajira plane that crashed; if it was, where was Lapidus, Richard and Miles? Were they "not ready"?

Not so much interesting as that's what it is for everyone. I'll probably stop by my local TRU tomorrow and see if they have them in stock. As opposed to some others all I want is 4 or 5 figs, not the full set. Hopefully they won't mind me matching barcodes and feeling bags... -
I know it's a bit late, but I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday as well Striker! Hope you spent that extra cash on some LEGO sets. ;)

So today's the big day. On the one hand I'm happy we're getting a conclusion, but on the other I'm sad that I won't be able to look forward to a new LOST episode each week. Ah well, life goes on; hopefully the finale won't disappoint me too much.
-
I don't suppose you do fleshies, do you? Great artwork, you've got a distinct style going here that works great.
-
Mine looks great, thanks again for doing this Stash! Can't wait to find mine among the crowd.
-
Yeah, the whole Jack-as-the-next-Jacob thing wasn't exactly a curveball. I dunno, to me this penultimate episode was surprisingly lacking in substance; sure we got Jack as the successor and a crappy death for Richard, but besides that I expected more from the last episode before the finale. At least it was better than the cheesy "cave of light" episode with the weird flashback.
-
It's odd because the pic of the box has both legs/hat printed, but the close up of the set doesn't. I'm hoping the box is the final set-up, the wizard looks a bit bland with no printing.

Great review, but this is not a set for me. Having said that, however, I can see how it could appeal to people who Town or City. Is anyone else creeped out by the head of the "barely there glasses" minifig? Something about his face doesn't seem right.
-
To each their own I guess. I prefer crossbows over bows and arrows when it comes to the Crownies and factions like that. I guess to me it just seems like the bow piece is too rustic for a kingdom to use; it's more suited to hunters or forestmen. The nice thing is it's easy to convert them, though, and there still might be some archers thrown into the line later on.

It was sad to see Sun and Jin go, but I agree with others that it was beautifully done, particularly the scene where their hands let go and it fades (not gonna lie, I got a little teary-eyed). As for Lapidus, talk about a lame way to die; I hadn't even realized he had died until someone mentioned it to me later. And Sayid's death I can't say was too disappointing, but I did like the way the writers redeemed him as good in the end. My big question is how the flashsideways connect with the timeline on the island. Perhaps after the characters die on the island they go on to live their happy lives of the alternate reality?

Erm...interesting video( ), but I really like the song.

I don't see the reasoning behind them giving us a blue wizard, wouldn't a red one make more sense? Besides that fact, I'm still going to be picking this one up if the rumors are true of it being released in the US this year.
-
I dunno, I guess a little bit, though it would look more like me if minifigures had big ears and eyebrows:
-
Is it just me or is the buckle print on the hat really off? Hope they aren't getting sloppy with the prints. Love the Dragon's color scheme, and the wizard is no exception. Would have liked to have seen a printed torso like other have mentioned, however. I'll probably end up swapping the torso and head out for something that matches a little bit more.

I hope there's nothing of value in that treasure chest in the back, because it's not guarded very well. Great use of the Crownie color scheme, and the steps up to the carriage is a really nice touch.
