I voted for the Yeti, as I think it would be the most usable for me, but if there was a "they all look like crap", I probably would've voted that.

Was it really that bad? I enjoyed the first two, and was looking forward to seeing the third, but now I'm not so sure... 8-| Anyway, I watched X2 again. Now I really can't wait for the third. X-D BTW Lost Viking, what is the RV?

Very nice creation, Lego2000. :-) You've put some great details into it, and IMO, it fits with the Iron Reich theme well. Do you have anymore pictures of this?
-
Very nice review, Yoda! This looks like a great set, but I'm not much of a Star Wars fan, and will probably not get this. The figs and pieces look decent for the price, but another figure or two wouldn't hurt. ;-) I really like the head used for Tarikin, so I'll probably try to bricklink one sometime, unfortunately, I bet they won't be very cheap for a while. :-(

And here I was; about to tell Jon that Maj had been around for a few years already...

Well, I'm back, but it seems that only 8 people knew I was gone, I guess this thread is rather pointless. :-P A mod can lock this, if they want.

Hello all, Just letting you know that I won't be here this weekend. Not very importent, but I just thought I'd let you all know incase someone wanted to contact me for some reason. Bye. :-)

How do you store your instructions?
Sir Dillon replied to captaintau's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For the most part, I put them in sheet protectors in a ring binder, and some I just keep in a box. -
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ratz/mis...06_raucher2.jpg :-P (not my picture, BTW)

Well, if you put it that way... Still, it's not really something I want to put my time and money into right now.

Yeah, like I stated earlier, when they need to row the boat, there are six rows, and only six men. So even the chief needs to help. (I made a few more viking figures from my collection, so that doesn't happen.) I don't own the SES or the BSB, but this is longer then my Red Beard Runner. Yeah, they look like something from Power Rangers or something. :-X And what's ironic is that the old broadswords were actually something like what Vikings would have used back then.

I recieved some Lego that smelled like smoke. I soaked them in a bucket of warm soapy water for severel hours, and when I took them out, the smell wasn't there. :-)

Happy Birthday to our favorite green... thing! :-P Have a great day!

Hey SkaForHire! There's a thread about PB here: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=4658

Thank you for that generous offer, Mister Phes. *sweet* You mean that this will help me get promoted, even though it's not involving Pirates? Yes I agree with you on that; the catapult thing is not very historically accurate at all. It's also an eye sore, IMO. I do not own any of the Dino sets, but I'm almost certain it's the same type of cannon. The serpent's segmented body doesn't looks great, but I'm not sure which I would like better: Segmented, like it is, or non segmented, but unable to move and twist. The ship does look kind of empty, and I think another structure or two could make it look a lot better. (as long as the wouldn't look like the catapult :-X ) Or maybe if the back part was a little bigger. I think the main reason TLC didn't add anything was they were trying to keep the cost low, but another might be it would be too hard for little kids to set up their mini figs and play with the ship without breaking something.

Thanks for the replies guys. :-) Thanks! *sweet* Thanks. I'm glad you didn't think it was boring. I wasn't sure how people would respond, since this has already been reviewed. Lol. Me too. ;-) Thanks again!

I saw it, and think it's neat. I loved the part where the BSB was shot. 8-

Review: unnamed exclusive Pirates set (& no set number)
Sir Dillon replied to ApophisV's topic in LEGO Pirates
That's interesting. I wouldn't consider it a Lego set though, anymore then I might consider a colouring book a set. Even though you were frustrated about needing to colour it in yourself Apo, just think of what a great artist your becoming. :-P -
Sure is - who else is there but Phes and Evil Willy ;-) I dont see Phes anywhere in that comic...weird. I think that's him on the left, just before he grew a beard. :-P

Skinny Boy, your link doesn't seem to be working, I'll I get is a link to microsoft.com. Does that happen to anyone else?
-
I mostly just dump them all into one large pile, like you. But if it's a really large set, I'll seperate the pieces into their own piles. :-)
-
It's a pretty good idea, and I think you exacuted it well from what I can see, but your pictures are very large and blurry. I'd suggest seeing if your camera has an macro mode. If so, that should help a lot. As for erasing the printing on the JSF cockpit pieces, there's a thing called Brasso, made for polishing brass, that supposedly works very well, and will take off the printing while keeping the piece looking new.

Johnny Thunder is for sure my favorite, I decided to vote for the fourth option, as I really like that torso.

Lol! Some of those are great! :-D
